I love coming here whenever I visit my dad in North Andover. Heav'nly Donuts has that small town New England charm with a great selection of hot and iced coffee flavors and great food at good prices. Unlike some larger coffee chains, their flavored coffee is actually tastes good without being too sweet or bitter. They also have great espresso beverages, which seems to be a rarity for places that mainly serve drip coffee. Their donuts are great - blueberry cake is my favorite - but they also have a good selection of breakfast and lunch items too. For breakfast I live to get a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a bagel, and for lunch I like the tuna sandwich. Of course you can't go wrong with the donuts and other baked goods. The staff are friendly and work quickly. They do a good job trying to help as many customers at a time as possible when there's a line. While traveling for work I discovered this amazing place. For most of Fall 2018 I visited almost daily to sample a different flavor of coffee. I was never disappointed. Ditto for the donuts! Was in the area for work this morning and drove by a cute little donut shop right on Main Street. It has a "homey" feel to it. There is a vast selection of creative iced and hot coffees as well as fresh donuts. Prices are very fair. There's indoor and outdoor seating, with Wi-Fi. The service was fantastic! Was able to be in and out in a few minutes. Was hoping for more variety and the different types of donuts, but couldn't help to be reminded of Dunk'n Donuts selection. I made an account just to write this review. I ordered food online because I had places to be today. I sat inside for about 40 minutes before I said something because I understand they are busy, but the lack of awareness was pretty bad. There was an EMT in there that had been waiting for an hour and a half for donuts!!! I had been here before and it was mid especially the coffee. I decided to give it another chance since I live close, but oh my god. Everyone in there was waiting for we for their food and I'm pretty sure the fire dept shoudlve shown up because they were way over occupancy with how many people were waiting for food. The worst part is when I stood in the 25 minute line to to get to the front to tell them that my food was missing, the lady at the cashier told me how busy and backed up they were. She asks for the name on the order and IMMEDIATELY goes and picks up my food off of a random counter. The coldest bag of hot food I've ever felt in my entire life. If I had the time to wait I would've asked if they could do something about it but unfortunately I had to go. If you have somewhere to be or anything to do I highly recommend to go to McDonald's. Like I said I've been here multiple times and they are always rude and confused about what's going on. They've got 15 year olds working in the kitchen and the food is terrible and the donuts are ass. We stopped in while heading up to Salem NH and we were not disappointed. It was a Sunday morning at peak time, 10am, and the line was long. It wasn't a big deal because we had no idea what we wanted. By the time we got to the register we knew what to order. We ordered the Heav'nly donut, honey glazed, chocolate cream filled, and chocolate frosted. This is my go-to coffee spot nowadays. They have so many flavors of coffee to choose from and they are all delicious. The pastries and doughnuts are fresh and yummy. And the staff is friendly, hard-working and all seem to know what they are doing. What else can you ask for in a coffee shop? Many times I have gone in and the place has been crowded with a long line, but it moves along pretty quickly most of the time. I used to drive-by and skip coffee here because the parking situation is not ideal (most spots are curbside parking on a busy main street), but now I am used to it and am there regularly. I actually drive past another Heavenly Donuts that has a large parking lot (but terrible-horrible service) just to get to this location. VERY happy here!! read more

This is definitely a go to spot if you live in the area. I was pretty excited to learn there would be a Heav'nly Donuts opening in North Andover and I have not been disappointed. I'm assuming there are many people who share my sentiment, as the place is always packed with customers! I've never once had to wait more than five minutes to get to the front of the counter and put in my order, which I find much more tolerable than the wait I've had at other places in the area. The staff is always friendly and seem to know a majority of the people who are there. They take the time to talk with everyone - even while moving quickly to get orders out to everyone. I thoroughly enjoy their iced coffee and they have a tremendous amount of variety. I'm a sucker for the blueberry though, while my wife has fallen in love with the snickerdoodle flavor. The food is always excellent and never tastes old and stale. The Texas donuts are Texas sized and delicious. the glazed croissants are incredible and the donuts and muffins are, well, heav'nly! I must say there was a girl who along with the supervisor because she was giving orders were so unprofessional and laughing and horsing around when there was a line of people. When I got to the register I asked for doughnuts coffee etc sand I proceeded to say you guys are horsing around when there was a line and making customers feel uncomfortable because I felt like you were laughing at me. The crabapple woman, after I had asked for a dozen random donuts, handed me a box which contained a bunch of plains and one lousy jelly. I used to love this place but the service royally sucks, and it's getting worse. I don't deserve to get ripped off for $20 because you're having a bad day. Our friend, Effie, and her husband opened this location in April and the 5 star review isn't because we know her and think she's great but the store deserves the rating. I don't frequent the other stores due to their location and am glad they've opened one close to home. The store is really cute and cozy, not like the feel of a Dunkin. Their iced coffee is the best...not to mention their baked goods. My favorite so far is the coffee cake muffin. I have been several times a little after lunch and there are always customers in line but the line moves quickly. The staff is friendly, attentive and appears to enjoy what they do. My husband was thrilled when they opened down town. The staff is courteous and pleasant (so hard to find these days). Their food product is comparable to other establishments. They've got plenty of seating, not cramped, and free wifi. I only wished that they listened when an order was given. When you ask for something on the side you don't always get it that way. When you order coffee in the summer they assume you want iced without asking. However, these in the grand scheme are "little things" and can be easily fixed. Heavenl'y is the best donut shop I've ever been in and I've tried them all over the Eastern part of the US. I love donuts and whenever we're on the road and see a donut shop we check it out. I travel to Massachusetts once or twice a year and always plan to stop by Heavenl'y in either Methuen, No Reading or Haverhill. Last time I was there I was hoping for a dbl chocolate donut but they were out. A guy came from out back and said I'll make you one and came back in a few minutes with a nice huge dbl chocolate donut. Give it a try if you're north of Boston near the NH border.
