Looks really, really juicy fresh and yummy. So we would pass on Shwarma next time. Too bad. For the dinners, two shows chicken Shawarma one chose halloumi salad, and one chose falafel plate. For the sides, we tried the hummus, vermicelli, rice, regular potatoes, spicy potatoes, Fattoush salad, and all looked really good. The atmosphere looks to be the type that I wouldn't really want to sit and have a romantic dinner at, but it does have a nice bar on the side, and there were a few people sitting and enjoying the trick with their food. We got takeout. The chicken Shawarma was pretty dry, and could have used a little bit more spice. We got the garlic aïoli on the side, and it matched it well. The hummus is excellent consistency, but needs a bit more spice also. Perhaps some of the dry spice they sell in the store. The halloumi on top of the salad is excellent. Really excellent. We drove a half hour to get home, so the halloumi was no longer warm, but that's expected. The salad under the halloumi, was really good. Very fresh, a bit different with the mandarin oranges, raisins, and slivered, almonds, and it all went well together.The dressing that comes with it, is the fig, balsamic vinaigrette, and that tasted just like a bottled fig balsamic glaze. It's the sticky very strong taste, and it was perfect on the salad and the cheese. Tabouli was great taste and yummy. So fresh. Disappointed in the pita, wish they were cooked in house. Cookies for dessert were pretty amazing. Homemade in house and they tasted it, and though they were kind of pricey, we would probably get them again. We really liked this place. 4 stars because of the dry shwarma.

This is the best delicatessen in MA BY FAR. Their meats are amazing. They have dom's meats to buy, as well as to-go dinners like lasagna and chicken parm. The staff really enjoys all of their customers and makes a conscious effort to get to know them. I've never had a bad sandwich from here. I also got their catering for a super bowl party and it was not only fairly priced but the quality stayed consistent! It always feels good to help out the local guys and smaller businesses but it feels even better when the quality of the food and service is so awesome! read more

D'Agostino's was requested by the team's captains (memories of last season's team dinners!), so I was delighted to again drive up trays of lasagna and meatballs to VT for my son's hockey team's start of the season/post-game dinner. Like last year, the boys (and the few parents that managed to snag a couple of bites) LOVED the food. D'Agostino's is my go-to for great service and delicious food. As a connoisseur of good Italian bread, I look for rolls that are crunchy outside and firm inside and DiCara's are exactly that. They have a friendly staff who make the subs very quickly and never make a mistake on the order. The store has a lot of other food, for example, olive salads and tuna salad which my Mom liked. Also sometimes, you can find various cuttings left over from when the salami sticks near their end sealed up in plastic. Yum! They also have a number of imported products (not all from Italy). I like their imported pastas such as the big Rigatoni and Fusilli. They have some spices too--I always get the Rosemary from Cento. Oddly, they also have an excellent variety of potato chip brands--Utz, Cape Cod, Wachusett, Zapp's, Dirty, and sometimes Wise. Finally, they carry some nice cupcakes & desserts from nearby bakeries.
