First, imagine buying 5 cans of SpaghettOs with Meatballs. Then separate the meatballs, wash them under lukewarm water and reform them into slightly larger meatballs. Next drop a dozen meatballs in a sub roll, drown them in Marinara Sauce. But before wrapping this in wax paper, run it under lukewarm again to wash off all the marinara sauce. Voila, Barron's Meatball Marinara sub. Tuna was bland. Kinda like moist shredded paper w/ mayonnaise. Medium Fries if medium fries means small fries. Other than that, it was okay read more

The people who work there are always friendly and nice. Its a small shop but a good convenient stop on 133.

The lobster roll (while supplies last) and craft beer selection alone get 5 stars. The breakfast and lunch options are delicious and the staff are always friendly. Where else can you get clam chowder, a bottle of wine, and a sub that's this good? read more

Food was gross ordered steak and cheese and a chicken cutlet with sauce extra cheese both subs had barley a slice of cheese and chicken was not cooked steak was gross I went in and told them he and the women had attitudes and wouldn't help of give money back he refused and said he would call police !! Amazing sandwiches and crispy crinkle fries! Club 93 is my favorite sandwich on the menu!

Barton's is a good place stop for fresh sandwiches. The staff is friendly and will put a smile on your face.

Very nice people, but they totally screwed up my sandwich order. Didn't realize it until I opened it up when I got home. Had to throw it out. Wasted my time and my money. read more

A little gem, hidden away in Northern Mass. From the outside it looks like your average general store but inside is a great awesome sandwich spot. All of the Specialty Sandwiches look amazing but I got the "Nathan"- Rare roast beef topped with swiss cheese, red onion, tomato slices and horseradish sauce on a grilled onion roll. Amazing. The prices are not bad all and your food will be made quickly. High recommended! read more

The food quality has changed since they were bought out. Sandwiches fall apart. Meats are gross. Want a old soda or some beer, this is your place. Worth the extra drive to Depot Pizza. read more

Barron's rocks! Awesome deli sandwiches, cold beer...wine and some groceries...and the owner is SO nice every time I pop in! Show the support to this local business! read more

I just had an awesome steak and cheese sub with peppers and onions from here. There was just the right amount of peppers and onions to not be overwhelming. I thought that it could have had another slice of cheese on it, though. Nevertheless, the bread was just awesome and the place is very close to work! The owner (I'm assuming it was the owner) was a REALLY friendly guy. I wish that they had combos, here, however (i.e. drink, chips and a sandwich for $x) because it's a little pricey when everything is bought separately. But it's worth it! read more

Stopped in on a weekday afternoon around 1:30 p. Have lived in the area for almost 30 years (but on a different side of town) but have never stopped in. I had looked at the menu on line and decided on the Athenian wrap: Grilled chicken breast, feta cheese, lettuce, black olives, cucumbers, red onion slices and Greek dressing wrapped in a flour tortilla. A gentleman at the counter took my order and it appeared a woman behind the mound of merchandise was the prep/cook. It took about 10 minutes to prepare and I perused the store as I waited. There were several take out orders (called in advance) ahead of me indicated by bags with the handwritten item on the counter. Both the gentleman and lady were very friendly, order called to indicate it was ready so I paid t at the register ($7.76) and proceeded to the car. I planned to eat and drive so as I unwrapped the packaging, the wrap is nicely "wrapped" in foil so easy to hold. I decided to stay in the parking lot and consumed it there vs. driving because I forgot to request no black olives and there were many slices weaved in the greens. Chock full of feta, it took several bites before I reached the grilled chicken and when I did ... what a nice surprise. Very tender, marinated just right, not too salty and delicious. Can't wait to be in the area again and try other selections. Love to support a small business! read more

Nine of us from work ordered lunch from Barron's last Friday. They made our lunch sandwiches and meals to perfection and we were very pleased. I've been there again to order another Grill 93 and again, I was very happy with my sandwich. The cooks work hard and produce a great variety of tasty menu items. We definitely will order from them again. Great food and great service! read more

I live in town and went there based on a recommendation. I am always up for finding a great sub place. However, this is not the place! It was a Saturday but it was not that busy, only a few customers in the place. However, the gentleman ringing up his customers was multitasking on the phone jotting down the orders on bags or whatever piece of paper he could find around him. While shaking his head implying that the customer on the phone was saying something that was off base with their order. I approached the counter to take an order and dealt with a very unfriendly employee. She proceeded to make my sub but I noticed she had no gloves on her. I asked why no gloves and she smirkly replied, I wash my hands a lot. I was grossed out with that and should have walked out at that moment but my kids were hungry, waiting in the car and it was already past the lunch hour. So I continued..I asked her to dress the sandwich with oil and vinegar. I got another look. She pulled some bottle out of the below draw and put it on the sandwich. I said what was that. She said oil. I asked to see the bottle. It was some creamy thing...not transparent. I let that slide as well. At that point I waited for the subs, paid and got the heck out of there. Knowing I would never return. Extremely disappointed in all aspects. read more

Wow. I remember telling myself that I wouldn't go back to that place, but after awhile, I couldn't remember why. So I called in an order today for two sandwiches today to pick up and bring back to work. I arrived a few minutes after calling, and did assume I'd still have to wait a little for my order. I got at the end of long line, paid for the sandwiches, and was told they'd call my name when it was ready. Fast forward 25 minutes, and I still didn't have my order. They're tossing out orders left and right and there are many people standing around. So I finally ask if they have my order. Guess what! It's been sitting on the counter for God knows how long because nobody called it out when it was ready. Ridiculous. Very disorganized and not terribly friendly or customer service oriented. This time, I REALLY won't be back. read more

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I got the Canberry Bog wrap and husband got the Surf n Turf sub. Both were delicious!! Being from out of town and not knowing where to go this was a great spot to stop. Nothing fancy inside, very friendly nice staff. We took our food with us since there isn't really a place to sit and eat here. Love when we stumble across hidden little gems like this one! Seriously good sandwiches! read more

I can't say enough good about Barron's! Their subs are delicious and they are willing to customize them any way you want. It's a family run business with family members and close friends working there and they are very polite and friendly. They remember your name after just a few visits and even remember you order! They never take more than 10 mins to make you what you order and they always have a smile on their faces. Barrons is a favorite! read more

Subs are really good. The lemon pepper chicken salad w/house dressing is REALLLLYYY good. I would give them 4 stars but their prices are a little high. Dont mind paying more but the subs are on the smaller side. But it is "Andover" and really the only good place on 133 other than fast food so I guess they can jack up the prices a bit. Good food, but should have some combos or something, lunch could end up costing you a few bucks. read more

Rude, horrible service. Used to gets subs here regularly until they forgot to put turkey in a turkey sub 2 weekends in a row. Since it was the second time this happened, my wife asked them to deliver one and they hung up in her. Nice. See ya Barron's. read more

The subs are a little above average taste-wise, but I work up the street and have stopped going here all together. We were all regulars until one day two different coworkers had a hair in their subs. I never was quite happy with the sub portions from the beginning anyway - very pricey for what you got. But the people are nice there and the menu isn't bad either. read more

Living right down the street, I come here fairly often. A large order of fries has to be meant for two people. Something to note though... On Wednesdays they get fresh pastrami from a local butcher and so its the only day of the week they have it available. If you like Ruben's as much as me.. its definitely the day to grab a sandwich! read more

I leave just around the block from this store and used to send my kids (now grown ups) to get sandwiches and other misc items there all the time. I would love to support the local neighbour shop, specially when I thought I had a lengthy connection with it, but today I decided to never stop there again. Why? Simply said - customer service! I made myself a smoothie at home and dropped the straw on the way somewhere. The store is on my long way to work so I stopped there and I asked if I can grab a straw from them. I was greeted by "why, dunkin wouldn't give you one?" from one, and was told go ahead by another woman there. Passing the counter on my way out and thanking them, the first one gave me an evil eye with a questions "you are not buying anything?". I get it lady, straws cost you money. I would have happily paid you a quarter for it. You just lost a family who lives near you for over 30 years as a customer, and this makes me sad! read more
