I have driven thru N. Reading and past this location for many years. Saturday afternoon, I made my first pilgrimage to Ryer's! I ordered a grilled chicken with ketchup and chicken. I ordered at deli and paid at counter. I got a water and a bag of chips, too. I walked around the store a bit as my sandwich was being prepped. They have alot to offer, including wine/beer. I entered at a busy time. Alot of customers coming in after calling on the phone or ordering on-line. Much like D'Agostino's in Winchester....Business was good, which is always a good sign, as I waited for my food. My chicken sandwich was brought to my table and after my first bite, I was thrilled! The chicken was cooked well, just the right amount of ketchup and pickles! Delicious! I will definitely return. Way back when, I use to go to "Gloria's" in Winchester for an incredible grilled chicken sandwich. However, they have closed so may Ryer's is my new go to when I am looking for a chicken sandwich! Price: Fair ($15 for sandwich, drink and chips) Parking: Plenty of spots out front Vibe: Friendly and Easy-going help Pepsi/Coke: Both available Service: Reasonable....on time...not a long wait Will I come again? : For sure! 5-stars....I liked it!

I have frequented this Cumberland Farms since its inception more than (I believe) a decade ago…read more(don't quote me on the exact years). The location has remained a mainstay in my daily commute and it is always clean, friendly, and convenient. As far as gas station food goes it's great for a quick snack- particularly if you catch the food fresh in the morning or afternoon. My favorites are the hash browns, pizza, and chicken sandwich. There are a variety of other options too. I will say any hangup I have with Cumberland Farms comes from the (likely) corporatized decisions handed down by the new owners of the company: EG Group. Since they have taken over as the new owners of the chain, it has seen several price hikes since 2019 which would have been unlikely had the Haseotes family continued ownership. Most notably: Cumberland Farms used to be renowned for its $1 any-size make-your-own coffee. The coffee is still great and the quality has not dropped, however, it has since seen several price hikes now surpassing the $2 mark and instituting drink pricing by cup size. While $2 is around the median between the sizes, that's still a 100% price hike within a few years. It is now 200% the price of what it was a couple years back, and again, this is small numbers we're talking, but how much farther will it extend? Only time will tell. This review is more for the individual location and staff and with them I am always happy to stop by and see them. Quite fond of this location and will continue to stop here for the foreseeable future so long as the new EG Group remains reasonable in what they decide to do with the company.
