love mutz pizza... one of the few places in the Northshore that reminds me of home in NY. Also can't go wrong with a pink pizza box ‍

Mutz Pizzeria - North Shore's Must-Try Pizza Spot Mutz Pizzeria in Middleton, MA, is the real deal. Run by the TikTok legend himself--Marco the Pizza Man--this spot is a must-visit for any pizza lover. If you've ever caught his TikTok Live, you know how fun it is to watch him make orders in real time, and visiting in person only adds to the experience. We ordered a variety of pizzas to put Mutz to the test: Buffalo Chicken ("Boofalo Chicken")- A solid take on a classic, packed with flavor and just the right amount of kick. You can get blue cheese or ranch on the side to dip it in. Mushroom & Garlic ("Fungi") - My personal favorite because they don't skimp on the garlic--every bite was packed with bold, savory goodness. Sausage & Ricotta - The creamy ricotta balanced the sausage perfectly, making for a rich and indulgent slice. Pizzaman's Favorite (Banana Pepper & Pepperoni) - A genius combo of tangy heat and salty goodness that just works. Each pizza was cooked to perfection--crispy crust, well-balanced toppings, and none of that excessive grease you find on so many North Shore Greek-style pizzas. And the best part? The prices are reasonable: $15 for a cheese pizza and $18 for specialty pies. One unexpected win? The house-made ranch. I'm not usually a big ranch person, but I have to give props--it's fresh and clearly made with care. The ambiance is also a vibe. The pink theme, Post Malone references, and foosball table** give it a cool, laid-back energy. It's a to-go-only spot with no seating, but the open-concept setup lets you see everything happening, which adds to the charm. Mutz Pizzeria delivers on quality, taste, and atmosphere. Marco says it best: More pizza, less drama. And honestly, with pizza this good, that's all you need. Final Ratings: - Food: 9/10 - Ambiance: 7/10 (Cool pink theme, Post Malone, and foosball table, but no seating) - Affordability: 7/10 (Great quality for the price) read more

This was actually the equivalent of dominos quality pizza with the exception of quality toppings. Flavorless crust, sauce and cheese. Major disappointment. read more

Great pizza! Located in Middleton next door to Freddy's Place, Mutz Pizza is a casual pizza shop offering a variety of crafted specialty thin crust pizzas and cooler drinks. This pizzeria is owned by Marco The Pizzaman! The color theme here is pink, which gives a relaxed fun vibe. This pizza shop is geared towards takeout and online ordering & DoorDash delivery, which is order at the counter with open kitchen and a spacious standing area, fooseball table, drink cooler, a couple pink benches and a pink mural on the wall. They also sell MarcoThePizzaMan merchandise and apparel too. The pizzas are baked in a glass rotating pizza oven and gluten free pizzas are made separately and baked in a smaller separate oven. I stopped by Mutz Pizzeria recently for takeout. I ordered the 12" South Main Combo ($18 plus tax) and also decided to try a couple "Sucker Slices" try something new without being suckered into buying a whole pizza. I had already been "suckered" though, lol. I enjoyed 2 slices of specialty pizza as I waited for my whole pizza to be ready including the Pizzaman's Fav (Pepperoni, banana peppers, drizzled with hot honey, red sauce, melted cheese) and Fun Guy (spinach, marinated mushrooms, caramelized onions, roasted garlic cloves, olive oil, Italian seasoning, rosemary, kosher salt, melted cheese), both slices on firm thin, light chewy crusts. I would definitely consider ordering whole pizzas of those two selections next time. My whole pizza was ready in about 12 minutes after ordering in a cute pink box (MORE PIZZA LESS DRAMA). This pizza choice was especially very good, which was topped with pepperoni, caramelized onions, green peppers, sausage, red sauce, and melted cheese on a thin chewy crust, light char (not burnt) on the edges. I enjoyed my pizza slices with a nice frosty beverage. read more

This pizza is amazing. We got the Aussie and the roasted garlic. When I say just my SLICE of pizza had 5 cloves of garlic on it. The Aussie is like someone rolled out a blooming onion. Got my pizza from Marco himself. So happy to find our new pizza place. Loved the layout and design too! read more

Mutz Pizza? Oh honey, it's a 5-STAR, full-body, tastebud-twirling EXPERIENCE. I walked in expecting pizza... I left in a full-blown food romance. That crust? Crispier than my ex's excuses. The sauce? Sweet, sassy, and seasoned like it's got generational secrets. And the cheese? Babyyyy, it was stretchy, melty, and straight-up seductive. The whole place just eats--the vibes are chill, the staff is a whole vibe (shoutout to whoever made that pie, you're an artist), and every bite felt like a reward for surviving the week. If you're not running to Mutz right now, I seriously question your life choices. read more

My kids have been craving the world's best pizza since their old favorite pizza shop closed. One day we weren't too far from Middleton so we ordered a pile of pizzas to have . Every single one was amazing with super fresh ingredients. I'm so glad we ordered few extras as my kids happily ate pizza for breakfast and lunch the day after. Mutz is definitely worth the drive if you're not local to Middleton. read more

Let's start with the food since that's the most important thing. Their pizza had better crust than other places in the area. That's the only positive. The sauce was flavorless and sparse. The cheese was average. You don't get a choice on pizza size. It's sort of a medium sized pizza. Somewhere between a large and a small at most other places. This becomes a problem in that you have to buy 2 pizzas where normally a large elsewhere would suffice. So even the pizza is priced appropriately for it's size you end up being forced to buy more and have more leftover. Employees were excellent and I felt like I was greeted warmly. At the moment they seemed to be set up for take out as there are no tables inside currently. The plaza they are located in is very difficult to get into and out of as it dumps directly on to 114 with no traffic light. The parking there is also not so good. I came on a Tuesday night and the lot was mostly full. The box the pizza comes in is a bright pink color. The phrase "more pizza less drama" is on the top of the box. Paradoxically, on the side of the box is the drama filled statement "STOP STARING. THESE ARE MINE!!". Adding to the drama is the bright pink color. So from my perspective the food is mediocre, hard to pickup and the box it comes in, is embarassing to carry. read more

Great pizza! Even better people! I used to order from Marco and Gina's old pizzeria in Beverly which was my family's favorite pizza around. We were so excited when they opened Mutz and couldn't wait to give it a try. We ordered 3 pizzas. The Aussie, sausage ricotta and garlic, and the cheese. All amazingly good! The pizzeria looks amazing as well and love the pink color scheme and decor. We are so glad they are back slinging pizzas around the north shore and definitely will order again! It is for sure worth the drive if you're not in Middleton! read more

Just tried for the first time and it's easily the best pizza in the area!! Best by far!
