Great pizza! Located in Middleton next door to Freddy's Place, Mutz Pizza is a casual pizza shop offering a variety of crafted specialty thin crust pizzas and cooler drinks. This pizzeria is owned by Marco The Pizzaman! The color theme here is pink, which gives a relaxed fun vibe. This pizza shop is geared towards takeout and online ordering & DoorDash delivery, which is order at the counter with open kitchen and a spacious standing area, fooseball table, drink cooler, a couple pink benches and a pink mural on the wall. They also sell MarcoThePizzaMan merchandise and apparel too. The pizzas are baked in a glass rotating pizza oven and gluten free pizzas are made separately and baked in a smaller separate oven. I stopped by Mutz Pizzeria recently for takeout. I ordered the 12" South Main Combo ($18 plus tax) and also decided to try a couple "Sucker Slices" try something new without being suckered into buying a whole pizza. I had already been "suckered" though, lol. I enjoyed 2 slices of specialty pizza as I waited for my whole pizza to be ready including the Pizzaman's Fav (Pepperoni, banana peppers, drizzled with hot honey, red sauce, melted cheese) and Fun Guy (spinach, marinated mushrooms, caramelized onions, roasted garlic cloves, olive oil, Italian seasoning, rosemary, kosher salt, melted cheese), both slices on firm thin, light chewy crusts. I would definitely consider ordering whole pizzas of those two selections next time. My whole pizza was ready in about 12 minutes after ordering in a cute pink box (MORE PIZZA LESS DRAMA). This pizza choice was especially very good, which was topped with pepperoni, caramelized onions, green peppers, sausage, red sauce, and melted cheese on a thin chewy crust, light char (not burnt) on the edges. Let's start with the food since that's the most important thing. Their pizza had better crust than other places in the area. That's the only positive. The sauce was flavorless and sparse. The cheese was average. You don't get a choice on pizza size. It's sort of a medium sized pizza. Somewhere between a large and a small at most other places. This becomes a problem in that you have to buy 2 pizzas where normally a large elsewhere would suffice. So even the pizza is priced appropriately for it's size you end up being forced to buy more and have more leftover. Employees were excellent and I felt like I was greeted warmly. At the moment they seemed to be set up for take out as there are no tables inside currently. The plaza they are located in is very difficult to get into and out of as it dumps directly on to 114 with no traffic light. The parking there is also not so good. I came on a Tuesday night and the lot was mostly full. The box the pizza comes in is a bright pink color. The phrase "more pizza less drama" is on the top of the box. Paradoxically, on the side of the box is the drama filled statement "STOP STARING. THESE ARE MINE!!". Adding to the drama is the bright pink color. So from my perspective the food is mediocre, hard to pickup and the box it comes in, is embarassing to carry. read more

Great pizza! Even better people! I used to order from Marco and Gina's old pizzeria in Beverly which was my family's favorite pizza around. We were so excited when they opened Mutz and couldn't wait to give it a try. We ordered 3 pizzas. The Aussie, sausage ricotta and garlic, and the cheese. All amazingly good! The pizzeria looks amazing as well and love the pink color scheme and decor. We are so glad they are back slinging pizzas around the north shore and definitely will order again!
