a pizza in a box
Suzanne J.

Being long time patrons of Lupos, 10 plus years, tonight is the night last night I will ever order food from them, and that is very unfortunate. After ordering two pizzas, that we have ordered several times before, they arrived with the toppings and cheese in the corner of the box. Questioning, we called and they offered to deliver two new pizzas, which we graciously accepted because we understand things happen. However, when the second set of pizzas arrived, approximately 30 minutes later, the same outcome arose. We chatted with the delivery driver, who was very pleasant, apologetic, and called Lupos's to state what happened again. The response from the person he called was unacceptable and unprofessional. The person contacted said, the pizzas we ordered are "loose pizzas" due to one being an Alfredo, and that if "we wanted we can pick them up ourselves and see what happens". Needless to say, after 10 years of ordering pizzas for Pats and Bruins games, including said pizza from this post, we will no longer be giving Lupo's our business. The pictures posted are from the two attempts of delivering tonight.

2.9 miles to the asshat that answered my call.

3 oz burger patty, 2 slices of bacon on a club. Embarrassing. Just keeps getting worse and worse.

Gluten Free pizza was awful. Would not recommend - made it through one slice and had to throw the rest of it away.

Lupo's is under new management, and they are fabulous. They're polite on the phone and our orders are always correct.

Eight years later, we decided to come back and celebrate our 10th anniversary, and wow, has this place changed! It looks completely different! I love the renovations and how cozy everything feels now. However, one thing I do miss about the old Maggie's Farm is how isolated it used to feel. You could practically smell the barn in the air LOL. Back then, it had more of that countryside feel, whereas now there are so many commercial businesses along the road. It's definitely a different atmosphere. Unfortunately, when it came to the food, we were both a little disappointed. We started with the nachos, which we rated a 4/5. The chips were a little too toasted, and the chicken was also on the dry side, making it a bit difficult to chew. My husband ordered the mac and cheese with buffalo chicken and rated it a 3/5. He wasn't a fan of the Ritz cracker topping because he felt it threw off the overall taste of the mac and cheese. I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl and gave it a 2/5. Unfortunately, it just wasn't tasty to me, and I probably wouldn't order it again. Despite the food not meeting our expectations this time around, Maggie's Farm will always hold a special place in our hearts because of the memories we've made here. We're glad we came back for our 10th anniversary, and hopefully, our next visit will be a better experience! We'll give it another try in the future.

We stumbled upon Sina's and decided to make it our 'date night.' WOW! Did we get lucky!! Located just a 20 min from Marblehead, we arrived to a quiet restaurant, where we were on the late-ish side, arriving at 7:30 and they close at 8:30pm. The owner and a colleague were waiting on everyone and the owner was cooking, too. We ordered: - Homemade falafel (incredible!) $9 - Masto-Khiar: Creamy rich yogurt blended with fresh cucumber and mint, $9 - Beef Barg: Two skewers of ground beef combined with onion, and house seasoning - served with grilled tomatoes and rice, $26 - Shirazi Salad: Fresh diced cucumber, tomato & onion in a juicy lemon-mint dressing with olive oil -- served with warm pita bread, $9 - The evening's special was lamb shank served with roasted root vegetables (a huge portion!) $35 - A traditional yogurt beverage (just to experiment - it was slightly salty and interesting) - Doogh $5 - A glass of white wine $13 - Freshly made baklava $4 (perfect as a great small dessert finale) --- Total $128.48 with tax ($117 food/bev, $11.48 tax) We were warmly attended to by the owner, 'Bejan' / 'Bijan' (?) - the 'j' is pronounced like a 'zh' - like in 'bijou.' He and his wife - and their 2 children moved to the USA many years ago to create a better life. They opened this restaurant (decorated by their daughter) in honor of their late son, Sina, who was tragically lost to random gun violence in 2017 - in Lynn MA. Their son was studying to be a pilot and was working as a pizza delivery driver when the random violence took his life. Truly heartbreaking. Sina was just 24 years old. Sina's portrait hangs above the cash register. I highly recommend this place - 5/5 in all ways. We will be back.

That review was October 26. As one can see the same secure lids we used at dunks. I used the app to mobile order; therefore, I did not specifically ask for matching lids. Also there was a possible privacy breach totally unnecessary. I won't post the photo for the same reason. The female server had an open laptop in the same spot patrons pick up their orders I backed myself up and away. The business in that laptop is none of mine. That server a bit reckless to leave personal business open for someone to possibly view. I am suspicious regarding bad intentions of those who come at go at this restaurant. On Sunday October 25 I was greeted rudely in Spanish with an awkward and unprofessional term. The female at the window did so with a smile I guess she should know comments about age , color or condition are not good business. The lady is of a another race than myself, so I dared not to reply. That would be unkind. Behind her was a tall policeman I've seen before or his counterpart. I told him I get " that " a lot. His reply was that's " alright " He is a big fellow and the lies he tells are as big as he is or his identical counterpart At Friendly's on Andover street he came in via the kitchen. He told me the nonsense that he drove 3 day with the famous tennis player Nastase. His boast was false no rational person could tolerate the rudeness and vulgarity of Mr Nastase. The policeman's motive was to impeach the credibility of my knee injuries. He will have no luck with that. My first cartilage surgery was 1974. I coached basketball ( poorly) in a middle school. My mom worked many year in White kitchen at MGH. Mom asked Dr Rowe's secretary if he would see me. The best of the Bruins enshrined with a statue was a patient of Dr Rowe. Knee surgeries are extremely painful and many are related to when I was younger trying to earn a living . That policeman who is annoying and deceitful should do his penance by cleaning up the mess at the Cape Cod police barracks ( if there was actually committed there) This is not an anti police review. I watched the news this evening and I was very sad the Chief in Attleboro is in so much difficulty. I hope he revovers . I am extremely happy that the former Chief in Brockton won a million dollars in the lottery. He drifted before but now I hope his good fortune continues. Prosperity to him and forgiveness. Also those policemen why are following me about will be behind the 8 ball if a matter winds up in court. I don't race around; I do not use alcohol.
