No matter what time of day I stop at Perfecto's, my iced coffee (hot too) is perfect. Never old and stale or bitter. The muffins are a huge hit with family and friends... as everything else is too. When I arrive with guests, we sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather and gobble up our food. Many times, I am on my way home and order at the drive thru and the service is always wonderful and friendly. There are so many goodies to choose from. I am hoping they keep the out-of-this-world corn muffins on their menu. Sandwiches are also very good. This is a wonderful place to just order something delicious and go outside to one of their tables and "chill". If not, just take the food home and enjoy every bite. read more

They have a real sense of urgency issue. I was an every day customer until recently. It has just been taking way too long at the drive thru on week days. Girls at the window should be held accountable for long window times. People use the drivethru for efficiency. Too long for mid coffee. The breakfast food and coffee are the the best in Essex county. The entire staff are friendly and work very hard . On Sunday February 22 I oredered my usual breakfast and something for my wife. I was also ordered muffins and cookies for my daughter and her husband. They both love perfectos but live far away. However on my mobile wallet no payment for all items were listed. I was bewildered at home after our breakfast. At about 10:30 I was heading to back to Perfecto' to pay the money for all the items I thought were scanned correctly. Oddly there were two police cruisers blocking traffic and created a roundabout detour perhaps and car accident? I must make good on all the items I thought were scanned correctly. I cannot safely do that Monday with a dangerous blizzard dumping snow. The staff are really nice to me but I suggest they monitor transactions a little closer. I want that nice place to have their money. However their checkout machine give me fits . I thought transactions were correctly processed and they were not. I will go there Tuesday If roads are safe. I have a few faults but none involving non payment. I'm just getting older and the smartphones are smarter than me; on Monday morning ill be eating food I have not paid for yet. The hash browns are absolutely DISGUSTING! Do not order them. They are the same as McD's except the taste microwaved. I also got a spinach breakfast sandwich. There's like one leaf of spinach on it. Been here a few times before I moved, after a couple of year of being in Cali, I really appreciate the different flavors of coffee they offer here. They really got the flavor to coffee taste down to the T. I've tried a handful, but they keep adding and changing flavors depending on seasons. So far, I enjoy all of it and it doesn't leave a weird aftertaste. I enjoy cranberry muffins, this place adds oranges to it. Different as it sounds, it's actually really good! Probably my favorite. The orange doesn't alter the taste much, it enhances it if anything. No tart flavors. Farmers special is okay. I had it on an everything bagel, dipping it in maple syrup definitely makes it better. But probably not my go to sandwich here. It just tasted very basic, at home plain breakfast sandwich. I haven't been to this Perfecto's location in forever but I remembered they had brews and didn't rely on syrups so decided to wander in and see what they had and wow, I was not disappointed. We went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't busy at all which surprised me, but won't complain about that! They have tons of brewed coffees. I ended up trying the milky way and it was fantastic. Tasted as I expected and didn't rely on a syrup. I saw they had whole wheat bagels so we also got an egg and cheese along with tomato and cream cheese on a whole wheat. Just came from Perfectto's, Peabody. I ordered a French toast bagel, plain, untoasted, and a croissant. Is an untoasted bagel supposed to be so hard you have a hard time slicing it in half? The croissant at least was a little bit fresher but not by much. Perfectto's used to be so good but the last few times I've been there (the hot chocolate was basically hot water; I added my own cocoa when I got home) it has been so disappointing that I don't think I will throw my money away there again. read more

I am like others I don't write reviews often but feel like I should. I've been to this Perfectos location probably 100 times over the last 8-9 years. I go because of the quality food and drink offerings and have always been happy to pay more than the Dunks next door. I'll agree with another reviewer however that over the last 3 years or so the personal touch with this location has been lost. Robotic order taking, no eye contact with its customers, almost feels like they are making you work to order something from them. I don't get that at Dunks or Honey Dew. I don't need you to remember my name or make lots of small talk with me but I would like to feel valued a little bit since you have seen me weekly for years now. Wish I could give zero stars. I don't care how good your food is customer service is everything and their customer service is terrible. Ordered from them on door dash and ordered a half a dozen bagels and they only gave me one option to choose cream cheese, I chose my two flavors which one would assume at $1.50 a piece there would be enough for all the bagels or else why would they have an option for a half dozen right? WRONG there was only enough for one bagel then when I called they gave me an extremely hard time. I was given a manager who said to me "I don't know what else to tell you that she didn't. Also the caramel freezato taste like frozen sugar water there's no Caramel sauce or anything in it doesn't taste like coffee at all it tastes like island oasis ice cream base in a blender with ice. Perfecto's is the best drive thru breakfast cafe in Massachusetts. Everything from here really is perfect and worth waiting. The eggs always taste very fresh. The drive thru menu lists egg sandwiches, however more lunch sandwich options are available online on the menu, so check first. Sandwiches can be enjoyed on a croissant, bagel, or wrap. The bagels are very fresh and flavorful; my favorite is the Focaccia bagel paired with bacon scallion cream cheese. For people abstaining from bacon, this location serves turkey sausage. There are SO MANY coffee flavors, at least a couple dozen. There are half a dozen iced tea or lemonade flavor options. The muffins are huge and the tops are like cookies - the best one is double chocolate caramel. If you add meat or extra toppings to any sandwich, double check that they put it on the correct sandwich. read more

Reductio Ad Absurdum. That's the true name. Though they have two dozen varieties of beans displayed in shiny containers above the brewing operations, you can't have a cuppa. You've got to buy in bulk. Five flavored coffees and the one breakfast blend were available. I tried the "Wake Me Up" one, since it did not have a flavor on the label. They do so much grinding and preparation of flavored coffees, even it had a hint of flavoring. Flavored coffees are so cloying. Can I have an Italian Roast sitting on the wall? No. What about a latte ground with robust Italian or French Roast? No can do. Everything I wanted around a cup of coffee was met with Nos! Now, of course, I'm such a big bad meanie because they are all very nice and mean well but here's the scoop... for better or worse, I'm one of those who's grown up in the "fast food drive thru" and "convenience store" culture. When I actually get out of my car to go into a place that serves stuff that should take under 5 minutes (iced coffee 30-60 seconds, untoasted bagel 45-90 seconds, waiting and ring up time, 2-3 minutes), I would like it to be under 5 minutes. If that's not a big deal to you, then just ignore the rest of this and go enjoy a pleasant re-enactment of the "Three Stooges" with cashiers confusing your order with the drive-thru window orders; people accidentally ringing you up twice and well-intended employees bumping into each other like Moe, Larry and Curly (or Maureen, Larrisa and Colleen). And, it's quite possible my experience was the exception... on THREE separate occasions... only three, so it's ok, right? I haven't had any problems with Perfecto's products or service before this, but my most recent experience has left me wondering why I went out of my way to support them. I purchased a clear, plastic hot tumbler last Thursday. Before I even got to use it, it fell out of my work bag and cracked in several places on the lid. I went back to Perfecto's yesterday and requested a replacement. (This tumbler has never been used and still has the sticker placed inside the lid by Perfecto's employees.) The cashier "politely" informed me that I would have to purchase another tumbler. When I inquired about store credit, they refused. Why would I want to pay full price for a second tumbler that is liable to break AGAIN before I get to use it? Ugh. I will not be supporting Perfecto's anymore. Their return policy is absolutely ridiculous and any big-name company would have at least done something for my defective product. read more
