Ordered a cold brew with their honeycomb cold foam. The cold brew itself had a great flavor, I wouldn't order the cold foam again. Also ordered a blueberry crumb muffin that was overall solid. Paid $17 for two 24oz cold brews and a muffin. Spacing is a little tight when waiting in line, but there is some seating available. When you walk in the menu can be overwhelming as there are ALOT of options to choose from. I would come again if I'm in the area! read more

We rolled in from the West Coast around 4:00 am on a wet cold weekend, and our first two days wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable without these guys. I need coffee early but so many #LocalCoffee coffee shops open later. Kaffmandu opens even earlier than early so I was happy to land here at 7am for my caffeine dose. It's a double-wide store front with counters of pastries and breakfast items and behind that, a huge menu board of coffees, teas, sandwiches, wraps and even paninis. The other side is a comfortable seating area with a half dozen tables with power outlets and a free wifi. A few of the old timers here hanging out and socializing. Kaffmandu was one of the first spots I visited in Danvers, and has consistently topped my chart since then. Look no further if you want a quality coffee (or pastry, tea, place to sit and chill on a hot day, etc). They have some really unique and delicious drinks! The food was average. The coffee I purchased was good. The latte I ordered was awful. It was 3/4 frothed milk and hardly and beverage. I ordered a large, but in all honesty, there was literally only 3 gulps of liquid. It was also sickening sweet. My bagel sandwiches were not toasted - which I did ask for. Perfect local spot to grab a coffee. The owner is the most genuine, happy, energetic guy and we are lucky to have Kaff here in town! I always go for a large iced coffee, and they have about 15 brewed flavors to choose from. For the price of everything I found the egg and cheese sandwich to be incredibly disappointing, all bagel and barely any cheese or egg, it was a chore to eat it. The lattes tasted like burnt coffee and too much sweetener, I wasn't able to finish it. I usually don't leave reviews, but when I pay $5 or more for a coffee I expect to it be drinkable. I had no idea this little shop was here in the middle of Danvers square. The place was un-assuming and tucked away. I tried it and MAN! I sure was suprised at how good my Latte was! Was excited to try this place with all the really positive reviews, but was unfortunately pretty disappointed. I looked at the menu on their website ahead of time and was looking forward to trying the toasted honey latte, however, I didn't see it on their menu when I arrived and the woman at the counter didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I settled for the coco-moko. The large is the size of a medium at most places, and it was a ton of syrup. My iced latte was a only a couple of ice cubes that melted pretty quickly, so it was more like room temp. The breakfast sandwich was pretty mediocre with a very well done egg that I think was microwaved. The croissant was just served room temp and the bacon was clumped on one side. Service wasn't as friendly as I'd hoped. The girl who brought out my breakfast sandwich out also had a latte in her hand, which I thought was also mine. When I reached for it, she just snapped "no." Overall, overpriced for very mediocre. I'll stick to What's Brewin in Beverly. read more

Here's the thing. This place has good coffee, great espresso, lots of choices, and solid food options (bagel world bagels - always a good choice). What makes me give this place 5 stars is the atmosphere. The owner/staff is SO friendly - a little bit silly and rowdy too - and clearly goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome and greet regulars. As a result, this isn't the kind of coffee shop where you sit alone, but rather, you lean over and start a conversation with your neighbor and accidentally stay a little longer than you planned.
