Cute coffee cafe with fun and original menu flavors. The carrot cake coffee was a bit too sweet for our taste. But overall a great stop for coffee!

This was my first stop in Salem for a warm cozy drink and it instantly became one of my favorite finds of the day. The space has a charming artsy vibe inside. I ordered the caramel apple pie chai latte which was one of the best specialty chai's I've had. My partner went with the pumpkin pie latte which was also really good. Loved how inviting this coffee shop felt, the kind of spot you could just linger in on a cold chilly day. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

I came here with one of my friends. It was on our coffee places to try while in Salem. This place did not disappoint! The whole vibe is amazing!! From walking inside and in awe of the wall art and the feel of the place. To the friendly baristas. It's not a huge indoor place, but they do have some seating off to the side and up near the front window. There's also some cute outdoor seating. Prices are about average places we go to where we are from $6-up depends on your order. I tried their seasonal pumpkin spice chai latte-oat milk with gluten free butterscotch syrup. Just the right notes and perfect for a brisk morning. My friend had their boo berry latte -oat milk. She said it reminded her of eating a blueberry pie!! Odd meter has so far in our top spots that we've had.

Such a great experience! The aroma of all the fresh coffees soothes you as soon as you enter this eclectic cafe. Everything is fresh and delicious. The employees all make you feel welcome and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd want in a cafe! We can't wait to go back again and again!!!

If you're in Salem, definitely stop by Odd Meter for coffee! The store is in a convenient location and has such a cute and cozy atmosphere. Everyone who works there is really nice and made our drinks really fast. We ordered a tea and flat white which were both great (and included beautiful coffee art!). They also have specialty coffee flavors and drinks. Can't wait to visit again when I'm back in Salem!

Friendly staff & yummy coffee! The take away cups are different than any other coffee place I've been to, but the design is cute.

Odd meter is a nice place to grab a quick breakfast before exploring Salem. Their sense of style and decor, as well as their branded products (stickers, clothes, etc) are adorable. The food options are good but nothing too special--mostly standard muffins and bagels. The fall latte options were fun, including pumpkin and caramel apple. Service was quick, the drinks were awesome, but the food was just a bit underwhelming. Also, I'm pretty sure the plants they're keeping have a fruit fly infestation, because we sat right by the plant shelf and there were tiny fruit flies everywhere.

As far as local coffee shops go, this is a solid choice! The prices are fair, the coffee tastes great, the service friendly. I loved that there were different milk choices also. The coffee shop itself was easy to find, clean, and quaint.

Needed a coffee after a day of waiting around at the courthouse for jury duty. I asked Sally, the server if they had lavender syrup and they recommended I get an iced Live Lav Love Latte which is made with half lavender syrup and half vanilla syrup. So glad he recommended this combo because it was so tasty!! The vanilla balanced the lavender and made it taste creamy and subtly lavenderish. Brought home a butterscotch cookie, a mojito scone and a Kouign-Amann. My husband and I gobbled them up later that night and they were quite tasty! The cookie tasted exactly like one I had at A&J earlier in the day so wondering if they share the same baker. Cute little cafe inside!

Came in on my day of cafe hopping around Salem for matcha, and {spoilers} they were all about the same. Which to my palette, as someone who loves matcha and regularly gets it in Bay Area CA, was around a 5/10. That said, I ordered their special iced Strawberry Matcha, which had a light flavor and was overall refreshing. Pros: - lovely and knowledgeable staff - fairly fast service - cute atmosphere with some seating and plants! Also loved the mural art - all their plastic packaging is compostable! Cons: - average matcha made from pre-made concentrate

We took a group trip to Salem post the Halloween madness. Best decision I've made in a long time. I get to extend my favorite holiday! My friends are sleepy so I dragged my boyfriend on a spooky morning walk. The town is also sleepy. But we were in luck that Odd Meter had its doors open and ready for our arrival. I will warn you that their capacity is 20 peeps in here. And now that I've tried the goods, I recommend prioritizing your arrival. There was a ton of specialty drinks to pick from with catchy names. We've been having all things pumpkin. I suggested to my boyfriend to change things up. He picked the "Boo-Berry Latte and I did "the Witch's Wand Latte" ! The blueberry was insane! It literally tasted like they smushed some berries and threw them in the coffee sans pulp! I was mind blown. My coffee was as they said, reminiscent of a molasses cookie! The coffee shop had some cute sitting options, a bathroom, some treats and a modern look! I wish they had the witchy tote bags! Loved the design! And the overall design and graphic design for the hot and cold coffee cups is also on point! I will always make sure to stop here whenever I'm in town! And I will dream about the Boo-Berry!

Maple hot latte and raspberry pinwheel

Came in during a morning weekday and the service was fast and friendly. I tried the maple hot latte with oat milk and it was absolutely delicious. Still thinking about it weeks later... The only miss is that I got a raspberry pinwheel that was a bit hard and room temperature, even for it being early. I ended up not eating most of it. I believe they get their pastries from A&J, so maybe not being baked onsite diminished it a bit. Definitely will return, though.

Cozy coffee shop with plenty of seating. The drink menu was extensive and included seasonal drinks. I ordered a speciality matcha, which was described as having a pretty color when poured out. The cups they provide do not allow you to see this featured detail. Pricing was good for the size of my drink

Food was phenomenal, and their seasonal menu coffees were some of the best I've ever had. Plus their staff are just really friendly.

The actual coffee shop section only fits 8 ppl at a time, so a line can form quickly. There's no seating inside the coffee shop, but it's def perfect to grab a cup of hot coffee while you walk around in the cold. I ordered the blueberry cobbler latte (seasonal), but I was worried about it being too sweet. The barista said she could make it half sweet for me. Oh my goshhhh it was perfect half sweet!

That was pretty much the vibe, although there were fewer seasonal / spooky themed menu items than I would have guessed. There was a strong emphasis on pumpkin and fall drinks offered, which I'm not looking for in July. There is no separate entrance, you have to go through the Blackcraft clothing store. It's fun to look at and has some funky things - I've always wanted to check out the store anyways - but it smelled like moth balls to me which was wild for a clothing store, so I felt like I already had that smell in my nose while I was waiting for coffee and taking the first sips - not ideal. Service was pretty quick and kind of friendly. I got the Midsummer Latte, which was mostly raspberry flavored. It was the perfect level of sweet, but got a little weird tasting as it warmed up a little as I walked around the city in a heat wave, so make sure you drink this one pretty quick for the best effect! The freeze dried raspberry pieces on top were so tart and tangy, they'd catch me off guard every time I got one in my mouth but in a fun way! It made the flavor more authentic. The decor in the coffee shop was very fun, as were their take home coffee bag brew names (ex: Labrewbrew, lol!) It's a small coffee area and seemingly had no air conditioning, I was getting sweaty just standing around for the few short minutes it took to get my drink. I kept thinking the poor baristas must be so uncomfortable. Pricing was on the higher side ($9 and change including a tip for a medium ish sized specialty latte), but for such a touristy area I was (begrudgingly) expecting this. Overall I'd love to try it again, maybe next time getting the featured caramel apple drink that sounded good. Like a lot of places in Salem I experienced, it seems like they're just not super equipped for heat wave temperatures unfortunately.
