Cannoli, choc whoopie pie and carrot cake.

2024, back again. We now go every year and the quality has never changed. I got a raspberry Bismarck and a chocolate Whoopie Pie. My kids got some other things. A cannoli, carrot cake and not sure what else but everything was amazing!

Coffee Time Bake Shop is dangerously delicious. from the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a case stacked full of (nearly) every possible pastry imaginable. i've heard their lunchtime pizza is pretty popular. I have been loving their banana foster coffee which is the flavor of the week, but they don't have flavored cream options. I went home to add french vanilla almond creamer, and I recommend bringing your own if you're on the go. i also loved their iced vietnamese coffee. is it the best coffee ever? no but definitely better than DD. i've tried their peanut butter & fluff donut, it was so ridiculously good and nostalgic; i tried their bagels which are big, fluffy and fresh, and their blueberry crumble donut which i liked but it was blueberry jam inside, not exactly what i expected. they have breakfast sandwich options as well, but they are $9 with egg, cheese and meat. even if you just get egg & cheese, it's $9. it should be a little less if you're not getting meat, although it is on a huge croissant (if that's your choice of bread), with 2 eggs. it's very old school interior, it's more of a takeout place although there are tables inside. the line can get crowded and the staff are all great, patient and helpful. they're open pretty late too.

Heard good things about this place and decided to give 'em a visit. It was a brisk 10-minute walk from Salem Common, which was pleasant. I was a little taken aback at just how busy the place was, even at 6 pm. A constant stream of people parking or trotting in from down the street to be greeted by the incredibly efficient team, swiftly taking orders for coffee, donuts, bismarcks, etc. It's a bit cramped and overwhelming when it's busy, especially if you've never been there before and want to look at the huge array of options. However, the staff are so helpful and efficient! Decided upon a bismarck, which was absolutely delicious, fresh, and the star of the show, along with an apple cinnamon muffin, a pineapple coconut orange muffin, and a peanut butter jelly donut. Everything was extremely delicious, all you'd hope for and more from bakery goodies- flawless *Chef's kiss* This place is AMAZING. Love that they offer dog friendly patio seating and dedicated free parking, too. Definitely do not miss out visiting this place.

I'm writing this before I even ordered my list of pastries. The attached picture of a very unhappy employee does not make for a very good photograph of all your pastries. Teach the young man to get some personality. & learn to smile.

I grabbed the pumpkin pie latte (hot) was really good! i love pumpkin flavored items but sometimes it's a hit or miss and this was perfect! My friend grabbed a hot chocolate and a chocolate mousse cake and both were delicious!! the service was quick despite being quite popular! The ambiance is very warm and cozy. The inside is very homey and welcoming. Very cleaned up as well as an amazing playlist!

We stumbled upon this place by accident. It's off the beaten path but I highly recommend making the trip. The pastries are AMAZING and they also offer egg sandwiches for breakfast. They are open 7 days a week from 7am-11pm so you can stop by for a sweet treat to start off and also end your day.

Great coffee, chai tea and Bismarck's! I was so excited to try the pastries and this place did not disappoint! I had the mini strawberry Bismarck & the homemade whipped cream was next level!

Such a cute coffee shop and bakery! You walk in and order at the counter and the customer service is quick and the food affordable. Decent breakfast sandwich options and a few coffee options. The baked goods were hands down the best part! You have to try them!!

I have been a loyal and returning customer for years now. Recently I have been getting birthday cakes this past year from here and I cannot recommend them enough! Their team went above and beyond for this cake, I told them what I wanted written on the cake and that it was a golf themed party. This was beyond what I imagined and was so happy with how it came out. Thanks for making the day even more special.

After looking over their drink menu, I knew this coffee joint was a must go to spot. I didn't realize that this shop is in the back of Blackcraft Cult. A very beautiful but very dark store. I did mingle my way through the store to get to the coffee joint. I'm happy I didn't get too side tracked cause a mob of people came after me. After standing in line for a bit, it was finally my turn to head in. The shop is really small and has an 8 person limit inside. I was so excited I finally get to finally check it out. Walking in, I was mesmerized by how stunning this shop is. What caught my eye was the fireplace. Ughhhh, it's stunning! My dream fireplace. It's black, ornate and completely breathtaking. The dried flowers, the picture of the witches, the cute ghosts and the cauldron with more dried flowers had me daydreaming about having this fireplace in my living room. The beautiful chandelier illuminated the room. More dried flowers hung from the ceiling. All of it is just magical It's the most stunning coffee shop I have been to. I finally got my drink ordered. After looking over the menu earlier, I decided to go with the Slasher S'more. A dark chocolate toasted marshmallow latte wit all sorts of goodies on top.... how do you not want to get that? Magic mocha, Spellbound latte, Good Witch latte, whoever came up with these names and concoctions need an award. My drink was everything I had dreamt about. It was so good! It tasted just like a S'more. It was also crafted so delicately with toasted marshmallows, graham crackers and blood splatter. Stopping at this coffee joint was one of the highlights of coming to Salem today. I'm happy I was able to grab a drink, vibe out in the shop and be able to appreciate this stunning venue. I don't know if I'll ever be back but I can officially mark it off my bucket list.

That was pretty much the vibe, although there were fewer seasonal / spooky themed menu items than I would have guessed. There was a strong emphasis on pumpkin and fall drinks offered, which I'm not looking for in July. There is no separate entrance, you have to go through the Blackcraft clothing store. It's fun to look at and has some funky things - I've always wanted to check out the store anyways - but it smelled like moth balls to me which was wild for a clothing store, so I felt like I already had that smell in my nose while I was waiting for coffee and taking the first sips - not ideal. Service was pretty quick and kind of friendly. I got the Midsummer Latte, which was mostly raspberry flavored. It was the perfect level of sweet, but got a little weird tasting as it warmed up a little as I walked around the city in a heat wave, so make sure you drink this one pretty quick for the best effect! The freeze dried raspberry pieces on top were so tart and tangy, they'd catch me off guard every time I got one in my mouth but in a fun way! It made the flavor more authentic. The decor in the coffee shop was very fun, as were their take home coffee bag brew names (ex: Labrewbrew, lol!) It's a small coffee area and seemingly had no air conditioning, I was getting sweaty just standing around for the few short minutes it took to get my drink. I kept thinking the poor baristas must be so uncomfortable. Pricing was on the higher side ($9 and change including a tip for a medium ish sized specialty latte), but for such a touristy area I was (begrudgingly) expecting this. Overall I'd love to try it again, maybe next time getting the featured caramel apple drink that sounded good. Like a lot of places in Salem I experienced, it seems like they're just not super equipped for heat wave temperatures unfortunately.

I ordered an iced decaf coconut flavor oat milk latte, and it was absolutely delicious. When the coconut flavoring ran out just before I ordered , the staff happily went to the back and opened a new bottle so they could make exactly what I requested. They were fun, friendly, and seemed happy to help. That small act of care made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. The latte itself was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly cold, exactly what I needed while walking around Salem on a steamy summer day. Front Street serves Jim's Organic Coffee, and the quality came through in every sip. I also loved the coffeehouse's cozy, lived-in atmosphere and its visible LGBTQ inclusivity. It felt like a place created for community: warm, expressive, relaxed, and welcoming to everyone. That matters to me just as much as a great cup of coffee. Delicious coffee, joyful service, and wonderfully inclusive energy made this a five-star experience. I cannot wait to return.
