Ili's was very clean inside with good food and good portions for a good price! Service was very attentive. I'd return!

Stopped in for breakfast on the way out of Mass. Cute restaurant, very clean and inviting. Waitress was friendly and they have a lot of good options. I had three eggs with toast, potatoes and bacon. The bacon was excellent. The eggs could have used a lot more crisp to them. The potato wasn't my favorite style but wasn't bad. The bread needed a bit more butter. Overall would return!

Great breakfast at a fair price- 4 egg omelets! Place is a little dark inside as they seem to turn on all the lights. Service is good, coffee had a good flavor and they watched the cup to refill it in a timely manner!

Great diner 7 minutes from the hotel I'm staying at while I'm visiting for a wedding tomorrow. Excellent service, very good value for the money, nice portion sizes, and delicious food. Will be back tomorrow!

Anyone living or visiting the North Shore has got to check this place out. Absolutely the best breakfast that I have ever had! Ham and cheese omelette was cooked to perfection, and the home fries were hot and amazing! Service was super friendly and they have coffee options as well. Want a cappuccino, they can do it! Why this place doesn't have a line out the door I don't understand.

Great Yelp! Find while traveling through the area. Wonderful service, congenial staff, cozy decor - so much retention to detail. The coffee and breakfasts had were outstanding. We happened-on this sweet regular who was prepping a monthly brunch for her friends. She gave us some Halloween treats.

SO delicious! A must try if you are in the North Shore! My Ham & Swiss Omelette with Home Fries and White Toast was seriously the best ever! Can't wait to visit again soon!

    Irish Benny with taters!

A quiet little spot that seems quite popular with the locals (many who came in were greeted by name and even brought gifts for the waitresses) serving up great breakfasts until early afternoon. When I saw the Irish Benny on the menu, I couldn't help but compare it to the other version I got at The Friendly Toast, it didn't let me down! Completely different, but just a good! Tried my wife's steak and cheese omlette, also amazing! First place we took leftover from! So good!

Really good, reasonably priced, food north of Boston. Easy off and return to I-95. Try Jacobs French toast.

FYI - it was starting to pick up while we were there and by the time we left. It's a cute place with tables, booths, and countertop seating. Our food came out fast and had a good portion. The eggs that come with the avocado toast are actually on top of the toast, which I wasn't expecting but I just moved it off. The fruit cup it came with was fresh. The avocado topping itself was pretty bland. I had to add pepper to it and was hoping for a bit more seasoning. They do offer hash browns or home fries with most dishes. The omelette was a good size, the egg Benedict looked to be a decent size. They have a board ok the wall that is full of the specials for the day. In general the place is bright and inviting. The staff are friendly. I'd come back again to try some other dishes.

A lot of places make parking impossible, but not here. Very smart. The place looks brand new. Clean, fresh, beautiful inside. You can tell they care. The servers were very nice, very helpful, doing a great job. Prices were fair. Not too much, not super cheap, just right. For everything we had, including the full meal, two coffees, and one apple juice, the total was about $61 (no tip). I found that to be fair for the quality and service you get. Now the food, amazing to say the least. I had the pumpkin pancakes. Perfectly made. The edges had that nice little crunch, just how you want them. You add the syrup and it does not make them too sweet, just right. The bacon was crunchy and delicious. My wife's quesadilla did not stand a chance. It was demolished. My son ate the entire French toast with Nutella and banana. He loved it. If we lived nearby, this would be a regular stop for us. But whenever we are in the area and want breakfast, this will be our go-to place. Maple Street Café is a winner. Great food, great people, great value. Believe me.

There are even a couple of bistro tables outside on the sidewalk. So you have choices. We arrived just after noon time and the place was packed. Our waitress provided both breakfast and lunch menus. Their coffee and espresso is made with Lavazza beans, which I love, and even though I wasn't sure if I wanted breakfast or lunch, I got a coffee. Mmmm. Cream was served in a small pitcher/creamer with my coffee. I was offered refills on coffee multiple times during our visit. I also asked if they have maple syrup or just pancake syrup. They have the real deal, just ask. Pancake syrup, s&p, sweeteners and ketchup are on the table. I ordered a Greek Salad and added tuna salad on top for a bit more protien. The salad came with warm, fluffy pita bread and dressing on the side. This salad is quite big. Definitely enough to share and everything was very fresh. My travel buddy got the ultimate grilled cheese which is a big sandwich. Bacon, tomato and lots of cheeses on sour dough. The onion rings are an upcharge (says that on the menu) and from the taste, I wonder if they use a sweet onion like Walla Walla. The tempura batter by itself is not sweet, so it must be the type of onion they use. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive checking in on us throughout our visit. She chatted with several customers as if everyone is a 'regular'. Every staff member we encountered was smiling and friendly. Restrooms are located in a hallway, behind a clearly marked door, off the dining room. They are updated and very clean. Located in a strip mall style building they share parking with the other businesses in front and back of the building. I honestly did not notice if a handicapped spot was near the entrance, but there is at least one in the lot. At less than twenty dollars per person, this was an all together, very good lunch stop.

We tried the North Shore, Whole Hog (on a bed of tots), and the bacon egg and cheese! We also got 2 side orders of tots. I loved all the food, every bite I took was delish! There tots were hot and crispy and well seasoned also. For the coffee I went with the signature "The Crave", which was so delightful. I got it with oat milk and it was smooth and delish as well! The inside of the place is just a cute hip vibe. It's a smaller cafe with some seating along one of the wall of window, and then they have some tables. Right when we arrived, every table was packed, but by the time our food arrived, tables opened up, which was nice. It seemed that most people would turnover the table quickly to allow for others to sit. The staff were super friendly and patient, and all around great place to have breakfast in Salem!

Parking- didn't see a dedicated lot, looks like street parking only. We found a spot down the street, walkable distance. Looks like we made the right choice, because the place was poppin. Lots of folks coming in & out. We were lucky enough to snag a table for the group while some of the group stayed in line. I noted several groups of ladies with cute witchy style outfits very fitting for Salem, that could def be OOTD worthy on IG. Service- seemed fine. My friends ordered for me at the counter while I held down our table, so I can't speak to the ordering interaction. They were speaking names out very low for pick up at the counter, I remember that. Food- I got the North Shore sammy - which comes with maple bacon, over medium egg, chedder cheese, maple aoili on a croissant. The egg was runny just what I like, and it was yummy and bigger than I imagined. Very filling. I could have just split one with my friends, but everyone got there own. So I left more full than I wanted, because I didn't want to take away. Drink- I got a latte, that was fine, nothing to write home about. If visiting this charming town try it out. I saw mostly tourist, so don't think it's a locals hang out. But it's not a trap luckily, lol.
