Homefries on deck! - The image depicts a serving tray with a portion of homefries, consisting of chopped, cooked potatoes. The homefries are golden-brown and appear crispy, arranged in a mound on a metal tray, possibly in a breakfast diner or restaurant environment.

To all foodies of the North Shore and beyond: look NO further. Situated in downtown Beverly in a cozy building, Stephy's unequivocally boasts the BEST breakfast food within a 20-50-mile radius. The owner, chefs, and waitstaff absolutely love what they do, and they take pride in the food they put on your table. You will immediately be greeted by huge, genuine smiles and friendliness that extends far beyond "business as usual". Accordingly, neither I nor anyone I know has had anything short of an awesome meal and experience at Stephy's Kitchen. The food is consistently fresh, clean, delicious, and filling. I have never had a bad meal here, and I leave satisfied every single time (let the record reflect that I am actually hard to please, so this statement carries weight with it). Moreover, the portion sizes are indisputably generous. The kicker: even with the incredible quality, freshness, consistency, service, and portion sizes, Stephy's Kitchen is an affordable, budget-friendly venue. The staff is entirely personable. Andre (owner), Trish (chef), and Ari (chef) will remember you by both name and face, and you will experience genuine rapport with each of them. It is extremely difficult NOT to become a weekly or daily regular at Stephy's--it's that good. As an individual with zero business connection with this establishment, I candidly recommend Stephy's to all families and individuals looking for an excellent North Shore breakfast or lunch. I would give the any variation of their Eggs Benedict a try--but proceed with caution, you will leave your experience a changed person with a newfound addiction to Stephy's Kitchen.

Wheat toast and "not wiggly" bacon. - The image shows a white plate containing two slices of toasted bread, one of which is buttered, along with several strips of cooked bacon. The toast appears golden brown, and the bacon is crispy. The setting suggests a breakfast meal, possibly at a diner or casual eatery.

Super reasonable prices, excellent service and a small town feel. The regulars are greeted like family. I am only here on Tuesdays and on the second visit, she remembered my order! Probably due to my ordering my bacon "not wiggly." LOL Someday I will try something else, but for now, this breakfast is so perfect!

Omelette - A breakfast meal is served on a white plate, including a folded omelette with visible vegetables, two slices of toasted bread on either side, and a portion of breakfast potatoes with seasoning. The plate is placed on a gray table, with mugs and a small container visible in the background.

Had a mother/daughter day and to start we headed to Stephy's for breakfast. Both my mom and I ordered an omelette, which mines had bacon, tomato, onion, and cheddar cheese. The whole meal was delicious especially the home fries. Customer services was great, overall will return :)

Very cute and bright upon entry. We walked over but there is a small lot in the front that could fit about 20ish cars. We took the elevator up to the host stand. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated promptly. We opted for the high top seats. The server came over greeted us and gave us time to look at the menu. We decided to do the bottomless brunch which is $19.99 per person (price as of 2025). We also got a bottle of champagne for $25 with small carafes of pineapple , cranberry and orange juice. The server said the champagne comes with one juice and there is an additional charge for the the other juices. My sister explained that she had never been charged for the additional juices. I think the server was trying to explain that moving forward they charge but given my sisters obvious disappointment she didn't charge us extra. For the bottomless brunch you can order up to 3 items at a time and they are delivered to the table à la carte . They also brought out home fries and foccacia for the table to share. I had the cheesy scrambled eggs, bread pudding, beef taco, fish taco ,peri peri wings, meatball parm and jalepeno cornbread. They bring out the food so fast. The portions are on the small side to help prevent waste but I enjoyed that. Three rounds and the mimosas and I was stuffed. The fish tacos were the best. I had two of them. The beef taco was tasty as well, just a tad bit too juicy for my liking. The eggs were not good at all. Even with adding salt and pepper. Whenever I get something with cheese if the cheese isn't melted I don't want it. The mozzarella cheese. sprinkled on top made me feel like the eggs werent hot. I don't even like jalenpenos but that cornbread was so flavorful and not spicy like I initially anticipated. Heavy on the jalepneo flavor but tasty nonetheless. I didn't realize peri peri sauce had a kick to it. But it was flavorful and the wings were crispy and cooked to my liking. Because two of us orders the meatball they put both in a bowl. I didn't care for the amount of sauce in the bowl and found the meatball to be flavorless. The bread pudding was decent. Overall a solid experience. The price is right, customer service good and the ambiance is very welcoming and comfy. I would definitely return.

Great water view that is most likely even better in summer. Staff was very nice and attentive. Appetizers came out decently quick in which we had the buffalo cauliflower bites and crab cake. The cauliflower was cooked well but the buffalo sauce was very strong. It could have used a nice blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping. The crab cake was the highlight of the night. The one crab cake sat on a bed of pepper relish with the mango habanero aioli on top was a surprisingly good combo. My wife ordered the filet and ask for it medium. Looked good coming out the we find out the potatoes and spinach the steak were laying on were very cold and the steak was very rare. At a price of $48 you expect the meal to be at least warm and cooked properly. And now the churassco, I had zero idea what this was gonna come out as but it was just kind of a hodgepodge of stuff thrown on a plate. Yucca frites were very dry and stale tasting so it took a lot to chew. I didn't know the carrot was going to be shredded carrots cause unless it's in a salad I prefer actual carrot slices. Steak and plantains were cooked very well and were tasty. It came out on a skillet but there was zero sizzle. I don't really understand why they put onion rings on the rice it just made it harder to eat. I do hope the food got more consistent throughout the night cause the beginning was kind of a mixed bag.

"It's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality" - i picked it because of this quote on the menu, and i forgot how much i used to love p!atd. i thought to myself, "i've heard this before somewhere..." i loved the bread & roasted garlic butter, however on a little cutting board it was difficult not to make a mess. i guess that's part of what makes it "kitchen table." it is the perfect, round sourdough loaf with the most delicious butter. the roasted chicken was prepared flawlessly. juicy and tender inside, and a perfect crispy skin, just wow. i absolutely loved the selection of spring vegetables, along with the sherry sauce; sautéed spinach, carrots, mushrooms, and onions. the mashed potatoes were perfect once i added extra salt, extra pepper & whipped it up with more of that garlic butter to my liking, however it was prepared great. i requested it without bacon butter, how it typically comes prepared, and the garlic butter is a great substitute. everything was impeccable. i travel to boston often just for food, because i find that the food in beverly, as a whole, is just not up to par, even with all of the marketing. kitchen table is different than any other restaurant in beverly, and now i don't have to travel so far to get the most delicious meals! i am honestly blown away by how amazing my meal was, and i highly recommend kitchen table to anyone in the north shore, and i'd even say it's completely worth going out of your way for. whether solo, a romantic or friend date, or with a small or large group, kitchen table is here to serve (one of the best meals you've had in a long time). there were some other ladies at the bar that were extremely hospitable and helpful as well, i didn't catch their names this time. i wanted to take some pictures at the end of my meal, at closing time when it had emptied out, and molly encouraged me to take all the pictures i needed. just fantastic service by all of the staff. i couldn't be happier with my first experience at kitchen table. here's to many more! ambiance: 4.9/5 food: 5/5 drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5 kitchen table: 5/5

When we got there, we found the owner and his girlfriend cooking dinner. They were very nice and welcoming. I knew to expect the owners living quarters to be really close to the guest rooms because of some of the reviews I read but since the room we were in had a private entrance we weren't worried, we figured we could come and go and have the privacy we were looking for with no problem. We told Ted that we were late sleepers and not to worry about providing breakfast for us (the website says breakfast is served between 8:30-9:30). We would much rather sleep in and then grab brunch somewhere and we didn't want to hold him up from whatever he may have had planned for the day. He seemed somewhat resistant to the idea of not providing sustenance for us so after a little discussion, J and I told him "okay, how about 10:30?" He said he would leave certain items out for us. The house and our room really were gorgeous! Ted is an architect and he has done a really great job on the house and grounds. We stayed in the pond room which had cathedral ceilings, a two person jacuzzi, a gas fireplace, double glass doors, lighted double sinks that automatically turned on when you walked into the room, a whole wall of windows, decks, and heated floors. We were really happy with the room. It was very clean and decorated with a subtle nautical theme. From the moment we got there, we kind of felt like we had to whisper in our room. Probably because there wasn't any other guests there that weekend and the owner was having dinner 20 ft from our door. I know they probably couldn't have heard us but it did make me feel more uncomfortable than I thought it would. In the morning, we were woken up bright and early by the sun coming through the large, high windows in our room. No wonder breakfast is so early, how can anyone sleep through that? However, I do have to say that if I wasn't a cranky morning person, this would be a really enjoyable way to wake up, sun and beautiful blue sky and trees to look at while lying in bed. We pulled ourselves together and quietly went to the kitchen for breakfast. Ted said he would leave things out for us so we assumed we'd be alone. He immediately came around the corner when we got to the kitchen so it felt like he may have been waiting for us. He served us cantaloupe slices with yogurt, granola and berries and a tomato and basil quiche, which was all very good. What wasn't good was that he talked to us from the kitchen the whole time we were eating, so we had to keep turning around in our chairs to respond to him. It was uncomfortable and awkward (if he had sat down with us, it wouldn't have been as bad). During our weird breakfast conversation, it comes up that J is a software engineer and next thing you know, Ted is asking for help with a website he is working on. I have no problem with J helping someone out, but DUDE we're on vacation and we are paying you good money, don't ask for business help while we are trying to relax. It just wasn't appropriate. I said "Maybe when we are on our way out on Sunday he can help you for a bit". After that, we pretty much chose to use our private entrance to the room when we came and went from the house. We didn't feel like discussing in great detail every time we came back from somewhere, what we had done and where we had gone. I think Ted meant well, he had a lot of advice and suggestions for things to do and he was a really nice guy but it just didn't mesh with our style. For the most part, we like to be left alone when we go away and Ted didn't seem to pick up on the signals we gave him. I think this B&B would be really great for an older couple, for some reason I feel like older people are more open to this type of attention. On Sunday when we packed up, J was heading out to take some things to the car and Ted followed him outside for help on his website. He spent more than an hour working on something with him, while I sat in our room waiting. We probably won't go back. Gorgeous place, beautiful backyard and pond, and nice trails that lead to a running path and the harbor. I really liked the physical surroundings but didn't really feel relaxed because Ted was overly available and obviously in closer earshot than we would have liked. A week later, Ted called and asked BF to go on trip advisor and write a positive review of our stay!! No wonder I found so many good reviews online. 5 stars for aesthetics and 1 star for invasiveness! It wasn't horrible but it was not our style. **Updating this review in March '09: Ted called J a month or so ago and said he found this review and apologized and offered us a free night at the B&B. Not sure if we'll take him up on it but nice that he tried to make amends.**

This gem is nestled in a quiet neighborhood bordering a 37 acre sanctuary with trails that lead down to Salem Harbor. I looked at a number of B & Bs before finding this obvious and rare jewel of a home. Ted and Sophie, our hosts, were flexible as we arrived early and left a bit late since the off season is easier on everyone. This home has been meticulously redone, as have the beautiful grounds. Indeed, this property is featured in a number of architectural, gardening, and home magazines. The obvious care and attention to detail is very very unique. Our host, Ted, and his lovely dog, Sophie, made us feel right at home. Ted has an easy way about him that makes one feel like family the second you walk through the door. As is common with Bed and Breakfasts, you are a part of the family while in residence - that's the charm. The breakfasts were lovely and we invited Ted to join us as we learned about the house, its history, and received numerous tips about local attractions, restaurants, shops, and some of the local North Shore news. All in all our stay was wonderful. Ted opened his home to us and helped make our stay a memorable and relaxing time. I most enthusiastically recommend the Fox Pond B&B; we'll be back!
