Maple Street Café. What a place. Really nice. Parking was easy, you can park right on the street or in the lot. Very convenient. I like that. A lot of places make parking impossible, but not here. Very smart. The place looks brand new. Clean, fresh, beautiful inside. You can tell they care. The servers were very nice, very helpful, doing a great job. Prices were fair. Not too much, not super cheap, just right. For everything we had, including the full meal, two coffees, and one apple juice, the total was about $61 (no tip). I found that to be fair for the quality and service you get. Now the food, amazing to say the least. I had the pumpkin pancakes. Perfectly made. The edges had that nice little crunch, just how you want them. You add the syrup and it does not make them too sweet, just right. The bacon was crunchy and delicious. My wife's quesadilla did not stand a chance. It was demolished. My son ate the entire French toast with Nutella and banana. He loved it. If we lived nearby, this would be a regular stop for us. But whenever we are in the area and want breakfast, this will be our go-to place. Maple Street Café is a winner. Great food, great people, great value. Believe me.

We came here for breakfast. It was a decent spot and the food was good. There was no wait and we arrived around 10a on a Sunday. FYI - it was starting to pick up while we were there and by the time we left. It's a cute place with tables, booths, and countertop seating. Our food came out fast and had a good portion. The eggs that come with the avocado toast are actually on top of the toast, which I wasn't expecting but I just moved it off. The fruit cup it came with was fresh. The avocado topping itself was pretty bland. I had to add pepper to it and was hoping for a bit more seasoning. They do offer hash browns or home fries with most dishes. The omelette was a good size, the egg Benedict looked to be a decent size. They have a board ok the wall that is full of the specials for the day. In general the place is bright and inviting. The staff are friendly. I'd come back again to try some other dishes.

Maple St. Cafe is a great addition to Danvers' downtown! We were big fans of Chuck's and were really sad to lose it. I am so glad that Maple St. opened in this location, and we are back to having a great breakfast option in town! I have been twice now - once for breakfast and once for lunch and had a great meal both times. It is incredibly clean inside, the service is very good, and the food is as well. Definitely stop in for breakfast - it is a wonderful choice!

Stopped here on the way back to Boston after an early morning at the beach in Gloucester. The staff are SO kind and the food was a classic and great breakfast. My first time having eggs Benedict and I definitely don't have any regrets. Thanks for the kind welcome!

I went in at 7:02am and got the friendliest waitress. She took my order and food was done by 7:09. So fast and delicious!

Quick, non-fussy service. The pancakes were good and simple. The place is a bit loud.

I love the versatility of the menu! I am celiac gluten free and almost their WHOLE menu can be made safely! This is so rare, I appreciate how thoughtful they are on keeping the community safe. I ended up getting a scramble and my friend got a sandwich. Both were delicious and filling, I even got seconds on my scramble. Can't wait to find another reason to come back!

The coffee is really well-made, though if you're ordering one of their specialty drinks, just a heads-up that they lean a little on the sweeter side. As for the food, the portions are huge! We ordered a side of bacon and I'm pretty sure we ate about 10 pieces and still left with a box. While the pancakes were just okay and probably something I'd skip next time to make room for new items, the rest of the meal was solid enough to keep me coming back. One thing you have to try is their signature ketchup. It's super interesting--almost like a cross between American Ketchup and Asian Banana Ketchup. We definitely needed a few extra helpings of ketchup for our eggs and hash bowl! The atmosphere is such a vibe, too; it has this modern-meets-ranch feel with a super cute rooster mural on the wall that ties it all together. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It's a great spot to fuel up for the day!

I've been coming here for years. I'm typically there on Thursdays. Never had a wait to be seated…read more (Weekends are busier but I can't comment on how long a wait might be). I've never had any of the problems I see people writing about here. NO roaches, don't even think I've ever seen a fly or ant. Regarding the cash only, they have an ATM. There are other restaurants in the area that are far more expensive that are cash only such as Choates and Farnhams, and last I knew, Agawam was also cash only. This isn't something that just the VPH does. I love the ambiance. This is a true colonial house built in 1660 and always feels homey. I usually get breakfast and am a fan of their scrambled eggs. TRUE scrambled eggs that are light and fluffy. Not fried and then cut up or folded over into a square like McD's. Huge omelets. They also have an early bird breakfast menu with good choices, good prices until 11:00. I've tried different options and haven't had anything I didn't like. Good coffee too! I usually have to have decaf and theirs is good, but one time I forgot to specify decaf. I tried the regular coffee and had no issues. It was very good! Most of all, the staff! The owner is always there. She is the lovely lady that greets and seats everyone. If you ever experience an issue or have a question, do not hesitate to talk to her. She is very approachable. Their servers are excellent and they always get a nice crop of summer student help. Plenty of parking, and in nice weather, you can eat outside on the porch. I highly recommend!

The quick start comes with two eggs, potatoes, choice of bacon or sausage, fruit or warm apples, and toast. It was very filling. I wasn't a big fan of the fruit, it had a weird aftertaste for me. Everything else was good. Tip: they are cash only, so remember to have cash on hand if you're planning to stop by.
