Stopped in on a Wednesday evening for dinner. The restaurant was surprisingly packed, so we waited near the bar for 15 minutes until a table became available. The interior has really interesting features like a mural, wraparound bar, and rustic booth seating. I ordered the salmon BLT, which was a solid option for the price of less than $20. I also got the coconut martini, which came with a toasted coconut rim which I loved. Service was awesome, all the staff were super friendly and attentive. I'm so sad to give a review like this Maggie's was my favorite restaurant for so long. However with the menu changes over the last few years I have stopped going. The first flaw was getting rid of the Fiesta roll I literally recommended that roll to everyone it was the best thing literally ever and the dragon roll was a bad replacement it should've never been taken off. The second thing was what they did to the Silo. It was so perfect it had lobster and it was so nice and then they started changing it but it downgraded painfully bad. The next and most recent thing was getting rid of the calamari. Literally as the biggest calamari fan I always thought maggie's did it best! It was so perfect with the white sauce but if i wasn't done with this place before I sure am now. I want to like this place so bad but it feels like they are killing their own menu read more

A bunch of us decided to eat at Maggie's Farm for dinner. We ordered a round of drinks that came out in a reasonable amount of time. We all placed our orders. Two of us got cheeseburgers. We asked that one be cooked medium well and the other well done. When our food arrived both burgers were raw and undercooked. Not sure how you screw up well done. I took a bite and could not eat it and the other guest couldn't eat theirs either. Our server never came by to see if everyone's food was cooked as they requested or to even ask if we needed anything else like most restaurants do. The two of us sat there while others ate their meals. Eventually the server came by. Everyone else was half way done and with their meals. He asked if we needed anything. I showed him my burger and said it was not cooked properly. He did apologize and said he would get me another one asap. The other person didn't send theirs back but could not eat it. I waited and waited and waited and my burger just wasn't coming out while many others to other tables were. Everyone finished their meals and we were just sitting and waiting. Finally my burger came too little too late. I lost my appetite by that point and told them they could keep it. A manager came to the table and offered a non convincing apology and offered to take it off the bill (I would hope so). we pointed out the other burger as well and they offered to replace that one as well and not charge us for it. The moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us and promptly seated us at a high top. Our waiter, Kenny, was excellent! He brought over water, introduced himself, and took our drink order. I had a tequila cosmo, and my husband had an IPA. We also ordered the fried calamari to start, and then for dinner we split the large prime rib and substituted the mashed potatoes for onion rings. Getting 2 stars just on vibe of restaurant and great service. But when I go to a restaurant I'm there strictly for the food, and the food is mid at best. We got 2 different appetizers, the "tater tots" and the pork dumplings. The "tater tots" were very cool concept but lacked so much flavor, they heavily rely on the bacon sour cream and green onion dip for the flavor and you frankly don't get a lot for the amount the tater tots you get. The pork dumplings were just frozen dumplings that weren't great and came with chili sauce that comes from a bottle and soy sauce that wasn't good. Overall appetizers were already a bad sign to what's to come. For my entree I got the bacon wrapped meatloaf with the "garlic" mashed potatoes, and my wife had their special of the week which was fajitas and oh boy.. the meatloaf was decent, it was moist but was heavily carried by the mushroom gravy the pour on it; but overall wasn't too bad and was the best thing I had though not great. The "garlic" mash potatoes..... I want to know where the garlic was and also the salt and pepper. Those mashed potatoes tasted like they just boiled potatoes and mashed it and called it a day, no salt or nothing; it was SAD-- the steamed broccoli in the plate had more flavor. The fajitas I only tried one piece of chicken and just like the potatoes, no flavor. Also the fajitas were in the $25+ range and you get like 10 pieces of chicken. You go to a Mexican restaurant and you pay $18 and get twice the food, kinda crazy. Overall this place was recommended to us, and I think they were drunk by the time they got their food because the food is not worth the price or any price for that matter, unless you like bland food. Really liked the vibe and the staff, but definitely won't be back. read more

This is such a cute spot that I hadn't heard of before! The food was generally pretty good but nothing really stuck out to me. The drinks were actually really cute though. The service was fast and attentive and the prices are as expected. I didn't love the salmon BLT but the fried pickles and wings were phenomenal. The sushi wasn't outstanding but I think I should just try a more interesting roll. The soup was delicious, the cauliflower wings were good and I don't even like cauliflower. Probably a better plan to come here for beers, watching a ball game, and appetizers (biggest tater tots I've ever seen!) rather than dinner. Although, it is big and loud so a good spot for kids, and the service was well handled. Now to the dinner. It's odd, and not reassuring the food will be great, to have a menu that covers American, Mexican, Italian, and Japanese cuisine at a place called Maggie's 'Farm.' The crispy chicken sandwich was a safe bet, and dipping it in one of the spicy sauces from the apps made it so much better. Otherwise, nothing really special. read more

We hopped on the yelp waitlist which got us in at a table within 30 min! This place was packed so definitely use the waitlist! Fun atmosphere, albeit loud, suits everyone from dates at the bar to family tables. The menu is a perfect size, not too overwhelming but with plenty of options for all! We got a burger with fries and a pulled pork Sammy with fries. Massive serving and great fries! Not drop your jaw amazing but certainly delicious, great price, and solid service. I have been driving by Maggie's forever and always loved their cute sign from the road. I finally made it in and am so impressed with how good it is! I am ashamed that I didn't try it sooner. Their menu is crazy - they have everything (I mean everything) from burgers to sushi to tacos, you name it. This time around I had their house made veggie burger and spinach dip. As a vegetarian, I've had a LOT of veggie burgers in my time. I must say, Maggie's is top notch! You can tell it is made in house and it is full of flavor. I bet even a meat eater could get down with it. I was eyeing the sushi rolls coming out of the kitchen and will try them next time around, because they looked crazy good. We had a good time dining at Maggie's Farm. We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the food and the time here. Plenty of options for food and drinks and the staff are very helpful. The ambience is very rustic and has a very cool energy. The portions of food are great and if you are a good eater, you will be content with your portion. If not, you always have food for the next day to take home. The burrito bowl, Cobb Salad, tacos and the stir fried rice were all delicious and worth the $$ you pay for. My grandparents made reservations for us at Maggie's Farm, and based on how many people were at the restaurant while we were there, I was expecting some delicious food. Unfortunately, with such an extensive menu that covers at least 3 types of cuisine (there was Mexican, Italian, and sushi at my table alone!), it's hard to get everything right. That's why I prefer a restaurant that specializes in one type of food instead of trying to stretch themselves too thin. I tried the chicken piccata (which, if you're familiar with my reviews, you would know that it's one of my all-time favorite dinners), and I was disappointed. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have expected Italian restaurant-quality at a non-Italian restaurant, but it was still an underwhelming dish. I could hardly taste the lemon and garlic sauce, and there were so many capers on the plate that it made the chicken and pasta taste way too salty. I couldn't even finish my dinner. However, there were some positives at Maggie's Farm! Everyone in my family loved the pretzel bites and beer cheese, they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, salted to perfection, and a great bite-sized appetizer. Maggie's Farm also has a full bar with BYO margaritas or hard lemonade, signature cocktails, and even mocktails for those who want a fancy drink without alcohol. I liked that they included where each state or country each wine was from on the menu. Do the positives outweigh the negatives? I'm not sure...I'll have to let the readers decide! read more

They moved a while back. I hadn't been in there for quite a while but I've found myself going there a few times recently so I think I have a feel for the place now. The parking is abysmal. Not enough spaces in that lot for that size restaraunt. The space is a large room with a large bar. Place always seems packed to me even on a Tuesday night. The food in my mind has improved a bit. Burgers are usually cooked properly. The steak tips are very good. The hand cut fries are excellent. There are a couple of items on the menu I don't like but maybe thats just me. We met up with family for lunch here on Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was LOVELY. She was very attentive and made sure we were well looked after. The vibe of this place is cool with an industrial look to it. The food was the downfall. Our table ordered crispy chicken sandwiches, a Rueben, a vegetable stir fry with chicken added, and I had the bistro steak. The ones who got sandwiches were the lucky ones. Everyone who had a sandwich enjoyed it. The stir fry was terrible. The chicken was dry as was the stir fry. The person who ordered the stir fry had to ask for a side of sauce because he wasn't able to eat it otherwise. I asked for my bistro steak medium rare and it came out medium well. I'm not the type of person to send food back so I ate it. It was very salty as someone in a previous post had mentioned. The "crispy" Brussels sprouts were burned, inedible and just plain awful. The truffle fries were soggy and tasted like dirty oil, as in the oil hadn't been changed in some time. Just based off of two bad meals out of five, I don't think we will be back. Service was great but you just can't overlook a bad meal. read more

Parking was a challenge as the lot is shared with other business and restaurants and many spaces are reserved for others. Bar was full service and had nice outside area to stand and chat while we waited. Food was good but not great. Nachos were good. The food was great. Large portions for 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals. The kids cheeseburger was as large as the burger on the adult side and it came with a large side of fries. I had the short rib sandwich on sourdough. I would have liked the bread to have more toast to it. The meat was tender and plentiful. They have Poscato from Rockport and Lunch IPA from Maine brewery on tap. Both were very good. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I asked if it was placed in a panini press or some other way to take it to the next level- I was told it was. Thus is one reason I did not take a chance on the Cuban because u can't just put a Cuban on some boring *** bread. Anyway, no press on the bread and it just left me flat. The fries were ok- not amazing. I may have gotten the end of the fry basket. All in all underwhelmed. Thus sandwich deserves a better bread than that French roll. read more

I love that this place has fresh quality food at a reasonable price. They don't nickel and dime you for extra condiments such as sour cream or pico. Wait staff can be hit or miss. Besides that the only other negative thing of note is the mashed potatoes. Clearly they are instant and came colder than milk.
