Tung's Taste may not have a lot of curb appeal but don't let that fool you. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is excellent. It was great the last time we dined there and the meal we just had delivered by Door Dash was every bit as good. Tung's has a large menu selection. Tung's Taste in Middleton is a hidden gem! We tried a little of everything: egg drop soup, chicken rice soup, chicken lettuce wraps, pork egg foo young, honey chicken, and the Tung's Taste fried rice. Everything was delicious. The service? Lightning fast. The staff may not coddle you, but they clearly know what they're doing--getting great food out fast. Also, pro tip: if you order a cocktail, be prepared. Ordered a Pu Pu Platter for takeout, and I'd imagine it would be much better dining in. Crab Rangoon was delicious, as well as your favorite Chicken Fingers. The Scallion Pancakes were decent, not overly too oily. I'm not the biggest fan of Egg Rolls in general so I can't comment on them, but I was slightly disappointed with the Vegetable Dumplings. Possibly because I recently had some of the best I've ever had, but I didn't get a clear description of the ingredients in them, and they could have been more hearty rather than strips of carrots. We have been wanting to try Tung's Taste for quite some time, a bit of a drive but completely worth it! Lovely decor and very friendly people running the show. We had the Pu-Pu platter for 1, we should have gotten one for 2, absolutely delicious, the boneless ribs where the best we have ever had, the crab rangoon had wonderful fresh scallion and I am in love with their egg rolls. We then had the vegetable egg foo young, excellent, nice fresh vegetable's and the sauce was delightfully light. The pork fried rice was good but we where not feeling the pork, it was not as expected, next time we will go with the veggie fried rice. Looking very forward to our next visit! read more

Drop by for a late lunch. We had the wonton soup Very good! Then we had the chicken wings and boneless spare ribs. The chicken wings are the best around the north shore area. Very crispy but the chicken meat is very tender. The boneless spare ribs are also the best on the north shore so flavorful and tender. We finish share a pan fried noodle with shrimp, broccoli, onion, pea pod, carrots, mushroom and celery. This is the first time we ordered this dish but not the last. The veggies were so fresh the pan fried noodles were excellent and the sauce that it was stir fried in was so flavorful. read more

Love love love this unassuming little restaurant. First off, the drinks are some of the best on the north shore. Best part is that they are happy to customize for your order. UM WOW HI. Have I been living under a rock? How do I live so close and never have noticed you?!? Sorry Tung's. We checked this place out last night and I'm still drooling over the food. Don't let outside looks fool you, it's a little place in a strip plaza that can easily be missed if you aren't looking. We were welcomed by warm friendly staff and loved the vibe. Family owned kinda place with lounge music and EXCELLENT drinks. We both work in the industry and were blown away. Loved the dark lighting with table lit candles. Romantic. The chicken wings were FRESH and that pineapple walnut shrimp I absolutely loved and was the best I've tried in the area. We also ordered veggie lomein which was gone in about two seconds, and beef broccoli. All amazing quality and presentation. The chef knows what he is doing. YES. They have an awesome drink menu and spirit selection and we also noticed they offer half off apps during the week. Something for everyone. What really stuck out was the service. Genuinely nice people. Everyone dining seemed to know the two gentleman running the place. We loved that. Bravo to you Tung's! We found our new spot. Service was amazing. Homemade Spicy dumplings are a must. Excellent! Chicken fingers were missing chicken for the most part. More like a fried cruller donut. The other items were very good (pork strips, egg roll, teriyaki, crab rangoon). The house fried rice was kind of underwhelming--might just be their recipe though. I will try the regular fried rice next time. I also plan on trying a dish next time instead of tidbits. The spot itself is kind of small and I imagine fills up pretty quickly for dinner. read more

Not a big fan. Brought home takeout a couple weeks ago for the first time. I've been eating Chinese food for years and years. Something g is going on with Chinese food in general. I'm having a difficult time finding good authentic food that's made fresh and tastes good. The beef and broccoli was in a thick sauce and tasted not great. The wings where overcooked and the rice was mealy. The waitstaff was pleasant and nice. The ambiance in restaurant is ok. It's small inside but the place in occupying a small strip mall store front. My family unfortunately didn't care for what I brought home so it's just not my opinion. I'd like to give a 5 star review but it just doesn't make sense to for what I brought home . Only issue is that I would have liked smaller pieces of ginger. Chicken pad thai: Great flavor, packed with chicken and vegetables. They included a lime, which I like with the pad Thai. Pork Lomein: very flavorful, good amount of pork and vegetables.
