Excellent, every time. Been coming for years, and already made reservations for xmas day. Food is consistent, tasty, and excellent. Higher level than a traditional neighborhood Chinese restaurant. There is a green bean with lobster sauce that is excellent. I've had both the peking duck and the Long Island crispy duck and both are quite good, expensive but a bit fatty. Having said that, I still order it. The General Gao's chicken. from the luncheon menu was not fabulous, I would skip it. The pork fried rice is great. Crab rangoon is very crispy and the filling is tastier than other places. The boneless spare ribs are excellent. All shrimp dishes are great. Just great with large shrimps cooked perfectly. I didn't like the soup that came with lunch special, but others I was with did. Wait staff don't speak English well, but they do it well enough. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the service. Really, a special place. so check it out. The pile of green beans on a nearby table, was visited by many workers, about half hour at a time. it didn't decrease much.

Su changs delights every time. Scallion pancakes are the best for miles around. Pad Thai is amazing, veggie spring rolls are fresh and crunchy and amazing, everything is great. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. Table tea is fantastic too and sauces are well seasoned and curated nicely. It's one of the best Chinese food places on the north shore. It's easily accessible with a ramp and large spaces in between tables, not sure about the bathroom. Staff is attentive and kind, and checked on a number of items being vegetarian friendly. Always a great time at su changs

My friends have been wanting to take me here for a while, so he finally made plans on a Wednesday night. I was surprised to find a parking lot so far as I assumed that in the middle of the week, there was going to be barely anybody. Nonetheless we were able to get seated right away by the kind hostess. We tried a variety of their menus as we were a party of five and very hungry. For appetizers we ordered their Scallion Pie and Crab Rangoon, hot & sour soup, wonton soup, and Singapore tomato and egg soup. Scallion pie and crab rangoons came out piping hot and crispy. We loved the variety of sauces including soy sauce, duck sauce, spicy mustard, and hot chili oil. Everyone was a fan of their soups as far as I was aware and I thoroughly enjoyed my tomato and egg drop soup. Could have helped myself to a bowl portion and then some as opposed to the small cup. In terms of entrees, we shared their Beef in Oyster Sauce with Mushrooms and Vegetables, Singapore Styl Rice Sticks, and Sliced Chicken and Vegetables Chow Foon. Everything was delicious and did not leave us with that heavy and nauseous feeling after too much MSG. I loved the seasoning of the proteins, crunch of the vegetables, and chew of the noodles. Too full for dessert, they provided us with free pineapple slices with our check, which I haven't seen served at a Chinese restaurant for a long time. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with the attentive and friendly staff. Decorations were elegant and well spread along with a full bar. Cannot wait to take more people here!

Scallion pancake was very good, moist and crispy

I came here 8 years ago with relatives from Hong Kong and this place was a hit! Recently swung by again hoping my memory didn't fail me and the quality of the dishes exceeded my expectations. Portion sizes are generous and prices are relatively cheap for the quality. Some dishes to highlight include: - Pan Seared Egg Noodles with Shrimp and Vegetables: the shrimp were enormous, plump, and juicy. Vegetables were fresh and noodles were cooked to perfection. Also, sauce was flavorful without feeling too heavy which is hard to find in this dish. - Yang Chow Fried Rice: a Cantonese classic. Solid all around; you can really taste the "wok" flavor meaning someone really put their heart into cooking it! I could rave about this place for days. Definitely an all-time favorite.

I called to place an order for Christmas Eve and was informed they add a 50% surcharge for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. 50% is insane!

The ambience here is phun AF and komfy AF. A bar area in front loaded with locals and much joviality here. Keno and scratch tix add to the festivus happening here. Moey and I opted to sit in the dining area which was somewhat spartan but still quite nice with white table clothes and a bit of minimal bric-a-brac decor peppered about. The drink menu is HUGE and prices are very reasonable. I was quite smitten that not only did they have the usual array and Tiki Cocktails but they also have a HUGE list of classic American old-people favs such as Rob Roys and Stingers and Wallbangers and many, many more as well as a list of straight-up boozes of cordials and bourbons and tequilas and everything. This "dwink" menu was perfect for a noon-time lunch session. My latest jam is to pair old-people cocktails like Martinis and Manhattans and Sidecars with my Chinese food. Admittedly, I usually first "practice up" by starting things off with a tiki drink or two and then I will get the ball rolling by proceeding into the old-people cocktails. It works quite well for me. The phood menu was the usual Moo-Goos and Moo-Shoes and Kow Pangs, etc. Rather than bore you with details let's just say that all phood was hot n' fresh and scrump AF, bro. Everything took care of business and then some... The waitress was wicked nice and a total honeybunch. All smiles and on the ball. In short everything is wicked pissah and then some... HIGHLY recommended to all YELPers and non YELPers alike. Peep it out! NOTE: This was the best eggroll I've had. Krispy AF and great texture and flav.

I mentioned they didn't have a sweet and sour combo, and server Henry immediately and graciously offered to substitute that in with no extra charge even though the combos say no substitutions. Henry was focused throughout the entire visit, making sure everything was okay. Onto the food, all on a dinner combo (2 appetizers). Sweet and Sour Chicken: Generous serving of fingers that were numerous, lengthy, and-- most importantly-- high in meat-to-batter ratio. Lightly crisp and nice flavor to the batter. Nice treatment, with cherries, pineapples, peppers, and a sauce thinner and more blush colored than typical, and with sour to match the sweet. No glop. Like a Shirley Temple you can eat. Near-elite. Boneless Ribs: Typical across the board in terms of flavor and texture. Would have liked more moistness, but decent enough. Average. Egg Roll: A celery/cabbage hybrid, with noticeable pork, more noticeable seasonings, and good moisture. Nice shell too. Above average. Pork Fried Rice: Another very generous serving. Good flavor, not dry, but not moist either. Got the job done. A little above average. Good first visit. Good vibe.

My boyfriend liked the food, but I'm not really a fan. We got pork lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, bone-in ribs and Thai chicken teriyaki. We called to place a takeout order and went by the menu on their website. I wish there were photos or better descriptions for all dishes. Sweet & Sour Chicken is one of my favorite dishes and it is a main dish (not an appetizer), but this was served as chicken fingers with sauce on the side. While I liked the flavor of chicken fingers and the chicken wasn't dry, I am disappointed that it is the same as ordering chicken fingers appetizer, just paying more. Thai Chicken Teriyaki (chicken skewers) is another favorite of mine. While this was ok, I wouldn't get it again. The chicken was cooked right and wasn't dry, but I didn't get much flavor besides something acidic (like vinegar based marinade). It didn't taste bad, but somewhat bland. It came with peanut sauce, which was completely frozen and also looked very unappetizing, so I didn't even try it. Pork lo mein and Bone-in ribs were not for me at all. They both had weird taste/aftertaste, so I only tried them and can't comment much. My boyfriend seemed to like both ok.
