Horrid, just ordered for the first time via door dash. I will admit I thought I was ordering from Jade in Peabody. As I dished up the food I could tell that the pork fried rice was very dry. The chicken fingers were actually tasty, but a little greasy. The chicken teriyaki was burnt, and not just like a little but where you can over look it, they were very burnt and dry. You know the chicken is dry when you bite into it and it comes apart in strings. The garlic pan fried noodles? Burnt, and again not even edible, they tasted like burnt rubber bands. We spent over $70 (not including door dash fees) and only have of the food was edible. I guess lesson learned. read more

I'm choosing to give one to the Jade. It's a local place that I've been to many times over the years, close to my home and usually a last drink of the night sort of place. The food is average and the restaurant itself is average as well, could use some updating and maybe a really thorough cleaning. Last night we walked in and it smelled like bleach from where we were sitting at a table in the bar area. We weren't even acknowledged by anyone for about 10 mins, which is unusual for Kenny the bartender, he usually is pretty attentive. However, last night the place was filled with a bunch of patrons who completely overtook the bar area and all of Kenny's time. He told us once he would be right with us and that ever happened. We just got up and left after waiting a bit more. He should've taken better care of the people who live in this neighborhood and frequent that place rather than a bunch that looked like they belonged at a bar who caters to the "class" of people these loud, rude ones like this group. There's other places I usually go for Chinese, but my bud from out of town wanted to go here (considering it was more his neighborhood in Wyoma Square, and my pick is near my old neighborhood on Franklin Street, you can say more of a local preference). Had never gotten egg foo young before, so a new experience for me and it was good. I got pan fried dumplings, they were tasty. Apparently they don't have a whole lot of Chinese in New Orleans, so my bud was making the most and ordered a large meal for 11 at night. I remember the pork fried rice, beef teriyaki, and there was lo mein. He shared with me even though I wasn't too hungry. I thought everything was good. I ordered a cocktail, it was sweet and otherwise good. They brought the wrong beer for my friend (if it was anything other than a bud light I don't think he would have cared). Otherwise the staff were accommodating and pleasant. Service was quick, and restaurant was otherwise pristine and clean, nothing fancy other than the serve ware. If I could give Jade more than 5 stars I would! I have been going here since this open more than 11 years ago. I was pregnant the first time I stepped into this restaurant! The owner Mike is an incredible person with great staff and great food/drinks! The price is comparable to other places. They are fast as well, whether you are eating in or ordering take out. I've ordered over the phone MULTIPLE times...enough food for an average of 15 people usually and I have the food within the half hour. I have NEVER had an issue here. We are very frequent customers and our order is pretty much memorized whether we eat in or order over the phone, and that friendly relationship makes it worth it. Ah yes, Lynn.... the city of sin. You never come out the way you went in. This hidden gem has been a secret favorite of mine for a few years (ever since it was bought and renovated by a new management team a few years ago). It is a little out of the way, but if you're anywhere north of the city, it is worth a visit. It is located right on Route 129, and easy to get to from 95 or Route 1. Jade Pacifica has the best Chinese food I've ever had -- hands down! The inside is very nice for a Chinese restaurant -- there is ample seating, a full bar, two plasma TVs, etc. Their drinks are CHEAP and so much better than any other place that serves Polynesian cocktails. The bartender, Joe, will whip you up the best Mai Tai, Pineapple Passion, or Scorpion Bowl you've ever had. If you like beer, it's less than $4/bottle. The food in on a whole new universe -- everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. The General Gau's chicken here is like little spicy nuggets from heaven. The appetizers in the Pu Pu Platter are to die for and cooked to perfection. You can't go wrong with this place. Whether you eat in, take out, or get delivery, you and your tummy will be satisfied and you'll find yourself making your way up to Lynn more often. read more

The restaurant itself is pretty tiny with tacky, dated decor however the food and drinks make up for the drab atmosphere and inattentive waitress. We ordered wonton soup, beef/chicken teriyaki, chicken wings, chicken lo mein and pork in black bean sauce (okay, that sounds like a ton of food, but we ordered all smalls and had tons of leftovers!!). -_- well, the chicken wings were blah,.. had that weird msg flavor that chicken from chinatown or super88 has. the chicken teriyaki was flavorful but stringy, but the BEEF TERIYAKI WAS DELICIOUS! it was soo good, hot and definitely just cooked as everything was. wonton soup and pork with black bean sauce, according to my husband, were mediocre. chicken lo mein was good, very freshly made, but not that great. overall, it was a satisfying meal but would never bother to go there again. read more

Try the salt and pepper chicken wings, they are my favorite;salty, a tad bit spicy, served with peppers and onions, fantastic! Jade has great food and even better drinks! I am making an update from my hungry anger fueled review late last night. I returned with the smelly rice, staff was pleasant when I asked for manager. Took a few but he came out,remembered me and my call. Apologized,explained the burner on the wok was left open accidently and that ash smell caused the wok and rice to have that odor. Also I explained the lack of chicken in the general gau. He seemed sincere and apologizing again replaced the 2 orders. Called for pick up,order ready within 15 minutes,so walked in,payed and back home. Older gentleman was pleasant,no one in restaurant at 10:15pm on a Tuesday, just 2 regulars in the bar. The crab Rangoon,chicken fingers and beef teriyaki were typical and no complaints. The boneless spareribs were dry as could be chips of wood and the general gau chicken had very few actual chunks of chicken, it was mostly niblets of the fried batter in sauce with 2 under cooked broccoli spears. THE HORRIFYING MOMENT WAS WHEN I SERVED MY 6 YEAR OLD THE PORK FRIED RICE AND CAUGHT THE SCENT OF CIGARETTES. She said it tasted funny,then I tried what I served myself and it smelled and tasted like an ashtray!! My husband and son also smelled it to be sure it wasn't me. Now grossed out I immediately called and asked why would the PFR smell and taste like cigarettes?! I quit 13 years ago and I. Super sensitive to that smell. I was offered a fresh order of rice but said I'm across town and it's late. Whenever I'm in the Lynn area, I go to Jade Pacifica. It is a great place to eat out at/grab takeout if you're looking for cheap yet delicious chinese food. I like the cozy and casual restaurant interior and the small bar for whenever I feel like grabbing a couple drinks.
