We ordered fried shrimp, pork fried rice, chicken bao buns, and an app trio (crab Rangoon, chicken finger and beef on a stick). Food came out quick but that wasn't a good sign. The fried shrimp was so oil logged and didn't stick to the breading. The rice tasted old. App trio was also oil logged. The only OK thing was the bao bun. Worst of all we found a fly in our water. We were in and out within 40 minutes. A lot of people were having lobster, so maybe that's good? But nothing we ate is worth coming back for. read more

I wanted appetizers from the menu online and what I received was an over abundance of white rice with an extra pint, one chicken teriyaki, one beef teriyaki and three chicken fingers that were so hard and crisp that I couldn't bite into them! I was really disappointed with my visit last time at that restaurant. The foods came out way different from picture on the menu. The favor is really overly salty and sweet. I ordered seafood fried rice but there only three shrimp in the whole plate!!! I have passed by this place maybe 1000 times before someone told me they tried it before and I finally decided to go in. I'll be honest it doesn't look like much from the outside, actually the decor itself is kinda dated but the service is good, the food is pretty good too. At this point I've been several times. They have several options for lobster (the Thai is by far my favorite). The Lulu platter and general tso chicken is good too. The drinks come out fast and they're pretty good reasonably priced too. This was the place to dine local good food while growing up. People came to hang and have drinks here before the night ends. Haven't been back in a few years now. The guy that was our first waiter from 20 years ago is still here, now a manager. He still recognizes us and came to say hi. I wish I can say the food was great but sadly, I can't. The chicken within the orange chicken were like jerky. Same with the fried calamari. The flavor of the calamari was fine but the texture were extra cooked. The beef in the pepper steak were ok and kind of tender, but the flavor was just salty and the veggies on top were over cooked and browned with sauce. Not pleasing to the eyes. The ginger scallion twin lobster also wasn't great. Lobster texture tasted fresh but the sauce could have been better. Also not much flavor, just salty. Ordered takeout and was impressed by the quantity and quality. Pork fried rice was bomb. Crab Rangoons perfection. chicken and beef teriyaki skewers were moist, tender, sweet. Fried shrimp YUM. I tried talking my friend out of going there but they wanted the twin lobster special. Not much of a special for $30!!! First of all the place looks abandoned from the outside. I thought it had gone out of business. Nothing that makes it look Chinese. My mai tai didn't resemble a traditional mai tai. Was juice and juice. Pan fried raviolis were sent back because they were burnt on one side, poo poo plater greasy and didn't have many different things on it. I could go on and on but I think you get it. VERY impressed with the cleanliness, ambiance and service at this place. Looks like one hard working lady was serving the whole place but our neck of the woods was pretty close to the front door and couldn't see sections behind us. The food was super fresh, and tasty and LOVED the jumbo shrimp in the lobster sauce. Mai Tai packed a punch the first time out, should have stuck to just the one. The Green Tea is located on the Lynnway in Lynn Massachusetts they have a great watering hole to the right of the entrance and a lot of tables to the left . This restaurant is very established been there approximately 20 years with the same owner who is extremely nice and cares for her business. They have a large menu and great specials. These were cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy. The ginger and scallion my mother had we're the same. At $25.99 you can't do better. Their adjusted hours now say open from 12:30pm to 10:30pm- we tried to order from them and called at 8:50pm but the phone kept ringing. We decide to stop by and so we took the drive over and saw that the lights were on and several people were seated inside with staff at the desk, so I tried the door but it was locked. A man came over and told me they were open until 10:30 but the kitchen closes at 8:30pm.. The kitchen closes 2 hours early?? Shouldn't the website say that maybe? 10:30pm is a bit misleading when they really stop taking orders at 8:30pm.. I will have to check back on this because I've never heard of that and there were several people seated inside almost like they were entertaining a private function/party against the state virus regulations. Either that or the employees were getting paid to hang out and eat with friends. At any rate, this is poor communication and disregard for their customers.
