Nice spot with generous portions! The beef in the lo mein was tender and flavorful, and the General Tso's chicken was a huge portion. Everything arrived hot and fresh, even through delivery. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get. Would definitely order again! read more

Fine but who delivers food to a hotel without cutlery??? Especially when we especially asked for it.

Dragon Chef is a staple in Everett. Located on Broadway in the 7-Eleven Plaza. Once you get by the extremely tight pocket, this is a takeout only location. They have all the standard takeout items, eggroll, spareribs, pork strips, chicken teriyaki, etc. etc. they also have some great dishes like shrimp and broccoli delight three general ground chicken punk chicken was surprised that they make a good Chinese style beef chow fun of course I order mine wet Chinatown style to do a fabulous job. I'm glad we have a local restaurant that can give me a Chinese treat without going all the way to Boston. Pricing is about average for a local Chinese joint. If you're never need some takeout, definitely check it out. read more

I would stay far away from this place. The food is underwhelming, but the customer service is by far the worst part of the experience. I placed an order around 11:30 p.m. and asked for delivery. They told me delivery had already stopped, so I said I'd pick it up instead. I live only 10 minutes away and told them I'd be there within 15 minutes. Their posted hours clearly state they're open until midnight. I arrived at 11:43 p.m., 17 minutes before closing, and they were already locking the doors and leaving. They had canceled my order, taken my food with them, and then started yelling at me. One employee, a gentleman with glasses and unkempt hair, was especially rude and completely unprofessional. If you're going to close 15-20 minutes early every night, don't advertise that you're open until midnight. I wasted my time driving there and was treated with complete disrespect. I won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I had made the mistake of going back to this establishment to purchase a takeout order. I had dinner guests over to my house and I ordered three dinner plates.. as well as other side orders... I ASKED FOR EXTRA DUCK SAUCE AND EXTRA MUSTARD...... I RECEIVED TWO LITTLE MUSTARDS THAT ARE THE SIZE OF MY THUMB!!!???.. so I called back politely and asked to speak to the owner or the manager let them know what I had ORDERED.. and what I had ASKED FOR...... and the woman actually starts arguing with me saying I should count out the number of sauces that I want??!!! absolutely absurd!!!Listen to customers orders!! and respect your customers!!! The same "woman" who always answers the phone is wildly RUDE... ALWAYS! I honestly don't understand what is wrong with the owner of this establishment and why they don't SEE these reviews and do something about this woman!! I SPEND OVER $50 AND HAVE TO BE EMBARRASSED IN FRONT OF MY GUESTS BECAUSE OF A BELLIGERENT, RUDE EMPLOYEE. read more

Still the best around , we've been ordering here for years and they never disappoint . I really like being able to watch then cook my order while I wait . Friendly , fast and always great food . read more

House fried rice was very mid rice and wings are very overpriced imo almost $30 for food that wasn't worth the price

I have ordered her twice . I got the Crab Rangoons and it was delicious , so was the shrimp. Service was fast.

Came back from a weekend trip from Maine and needed my fix for chinese food. My food was absolutely amazing, everything came super hot and fresh. Orange chicken was bomb as well as their spare ribs and vegetable lo mein. 10/10 read more

Consistently delicious shrimp fried rice! Also, their beef and broccoli is top notch!

Good grub enjoyed spare ribs and chicken wings very good love this place good stuff !!!

Was Edible, but not good. The crab Rangoons have a very bitter aftertaste. Service was fine

I had stopped using this take out for a while as it had gone down hill but decided to try again recently. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The boneless ribs were very meaty, barely any fat. Egg Foo Yong also was delicious. The only thing was no water chestnuts in the lo mein. read more

Ordered shrimp with peapods, they gave me shrimp fried rice. Ordered crab Rangoon expecting 9 pieces as listed, only provided 8

I am realistic when it comes to take out. And during these times, I don't want to give anyone a hard time but... the food was inedible. I hate wasting food but it was not possible to eat. Lomein has no flavor and was burned, charred really. Fried rice was greasy. Rangoons tasted off. After $45 in the trash, I'd say NOT worth an order. read more

It was late and I just arrived at an airport hotel. No options at the hotel so delivery it was. First...Read. The. Menu. Ordered orange chicken and hot and sour soup. Didn't realize that the chicken was just that. No rice, but for the price, I thought surely it was included. The chicken was tough, flavor was okay. The soup was, well, soup. Nothing special, probably something all Chinese restaurants use in bulk. Additionally, in the delivery notes, I specified my hotel room number for it to be delivered. I was neither told this wasn't possible nor did the delivery guy text and say so. Thanks Fausto! At the end of the day my orange chicken and soup was $25, but I was a captive audience and I was hungry. read more

Listen, people are ridiculous with their reviews. This is exactly what you want when you are craving Americanized Chinese food. They make it "authentically" like I remember when my dad would bring home this foreign tasting food to our Chinese family as a treat since it was such different food than what we ate. They have the old school menu items and more and all of it is cooked the way I remember. Chicken fingers with chicken breast meat and a crunchy exterior, luscious egg foo young with the brown gravy, chicken lo mein, pork fried rice with lean char siu cubes and my guilty pleasure, lobster sauce. Their prices are so low I worry about the workers making a living wage. Please be kind and tip generously. I love this place. read more

Dont order from these people because they are thieves. I got food tonight from them and was given a receipt that said that i was charged $30.60, however within 2 minutes my bank notified me of a transaction that was just completed of the amount of $36.72. When i called them to tell them that i was charged an extra $6.00 the response was "did you tip?!" I said no, so theres no reason as to why my card should have been charged extra. They refused to refund me what they charged me and insisted that it was a mistake on my bank's behalf. Never have i made a purchase where my bank made a mistake on the amount that the merchant charged. Never will I order food here again. Ive attached proof to back up my claim. IF YOU WILL ORDER FROM THIS PLACE DO NOT USE YOUR CARD BECAUSE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU MORE THAN WHAT THEIR RECEIPT CLAIMS. read more

I think it is under new management and the food is not the same you be the judge I got my regular stuff and it was different maybe it is a new cook I think I'll go somewhere else for a while read more

Dragon Chef has been my favorite Chinese food for 30 years. I really really miss it living elsewhere. Do you know you cannot get lobster sauce and fried rice anywhere else in USA? I go to Dragon Chef when I visit family and absolutely love it. The complaints seem to be from the NO TIP demographic and naive know nothing young things. Chinese food on New Years is a Boston area thing and I have seen Dragon Chef come through excellently on past New Year's Eves. A couple of years ago I called in a NYE order from Vermont as I was headed back to Everett. The order was delivered perfectly. And just what type of lowlife does not tip?!! read more

I placed an order for a Large Kung Pao chicken, and, unfortunately, there was an excessive amount of celery, and barely any chicken. It seemed like less chicken than I would even expect in a small order. I am assuming the restaurant fills the container up with celery to save money on chicken, but it makes for a very unpleasant experience. read more

Love this place. I've lived in Everett for about 6 years now after previously living in Brookline for 7 years. Have always had a positive experience with my orders and they are very fast, usually ready within 15 minutes for pickup and they also deliver. I order from here pretty frequently on the weekend. Very clean kitchen. It is an open kitchen, so you can see them making the food behind the register area. read more

I will never order again I called today I told them deliver they couldn't spell my address . My address is water so they put me on hold for 10 min then I called back then they blocked my number .never again if you don't no how to spell waters then you have a problem I will be telling everybody that orders from you I rather go 10 miles away. To get food then go to you useless they should be closed read more

The food is not the main driver of the 3 stars... The food would be 4... The location (some nights I want to pick up - and this parking lot could send me to jail)... Best Curry Shrimp (Chinese) I have ever had... Love their Lobster Sauce & Crab Rangoons... delivery will be at your house in about 10 mins... They are great & food is great... Just hate that most plates come in a metally tin type plate as opposed to most with the traditional Styrofoam plates... read more

Went back today, the food was horrible for some reason and I finally got a chance to meet the rude lady, I'm all set with this place

I got sick from this place all I order was rice with bonless ribs the meat was not cooked after brining the food back I was denied refund and my order was not remade please do not order from this place read more

Last time we ordered take out it just so so. I asked for not MSG, and that may have been the reason. This place has always looked clean and well taken care of. In fact it is an open kitchen where patrons can see the kitchen and watch the chefs prepare the food. I am not concerned about sanitation or pests in the kitchen. Not sure why people have reviewed it and report these as issues. I will be back. read more

Used to order here all the time and was delicious. They closed for a bit and reopened and went downhill. Just not good like it used to be. I won't be going back read more

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AVOID THIS RESTAURANT UNTIL COVID PROCEDURES ARE ENFORCED/EXPLAINED TO MANAGEMENT HERE. Been ordering from Dragon Chef for years. It seems a side of hot mustard is no longer a given side sauce as soy and duck sauce are. I stopped going to Dar Hee due to this new cheap procedure, and now I will stop going to Dragon Chef. Will they care? Absolutely not. They are too busy to care. read more

I was a costumer of this restaurant for several years; until now. About 5 or more times a year we used to order from this place. When the whole family gathers, we usually opted for asian food. This place been the most convenient to our location. And the food was always good. Unfortunately, today one of my ordered items was spoiled. The crab rangoons. I discovered the cheese was spoiled. Not pleased with the situation at all, as I tried to report the problem and not even an apology was received. The Restaurant must be more careful as food poisoning from something like this is very possible. Above all, customer service should always be fundamental. A simple apology would have been sufficient as the product was only tasted and not completely consumed. But one was non existent. Unfortunately for the restaurant, they have lost several costumers. read more

This place looks like a piece of crap hole in the wall chinese food place. Too bad it aint. I always order my Orgasm In A Tin Foil Plate (thats #22A w/ chicken teriyaki, for the people who dont know), and every single time the spareribs were crispy, teriyaki delicious and the rice cooked to perfection. God i miss living in Everett simply because of this place. It is true that the outside parking lot is horrible to navigate in, and there is no place to sit, but trust me I think its better to eat at home anyways. one bit of advice, tho. Never order delivery. A friend and I were over her house and we ordered from this place. 1.5 hours later, the food showed up. Goddamn. 90 minutes. 90. Thats the square root of 8100 folks, GODDAMN. We weren't too happy, and if the great food didnt make us sexually excited we would have not tipped the delivery guy. But we did. Cuz we're nice. All nitpicking aside, chinese places in Everett seem to be the best around (golden house, ho win, dragon chef, etc.). Too bad the rest of the culinary choices are awful. read more

I uploaded photos of the cockroach I found in my food. How I feel about this situation is besides the point. This is a mistake no business should ever make in the food industry, it's disgusting and downright good enough of a reason to shut a place down. I didn't do my research well, on the fact that it was just a takeaway place... I drove up there when I was really hungry only to be told that it is a takeaway place... I asked the lady at the counter whether I could sit there and eat since I was headed elsewhere right after but she didn't allow me to though there was ample space to do this... She was curt, probably because of language skills... I took the Spicy Chicken from the Lunch option - great value for money, you don't get a lot of chicken but very good quantity with respect to fried rice and vegetables... I also added the Beef Teriyaki which was very nice as well... I intend to try a few more dishes from the lunch menu over the coming weeks... read more
