Pork fried rice, boneless spareribs, egg roll, chicken fingers

This is some of the freshest chinese food I have had in a long time. The boneless spareribs were thick & juicy, the chicken fingers were hot & fresh. Large chunks of pork in the fried rice. HUGE EGG ROLL! The lobster sauce was Devine. It reminds me of the delicious chinese I would get with my sister as a child downtown Boston in the 80's. My new favorite neighborhood take out.

Crab Rangoons, Chicken Wings, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice meal

We tried this neighborhood spot when we were looking for quick but good Chinese food. We've been here before and so we were okay to return. The food was good. The chicken teriyaki sticks are pretty good and so is the pork fried rice. The are no other vegetables in the friend rices unless you order bean sprouts, which was a little disappointing, but the rice was good. You can taste the sauce, which is a little salty but still good. The small portion is enough for 1.5 -servings, especially if you order an additional protein or veggie. My boyfriend's meal combo was a great deal. He got the sweet and sour chicken, shrimp fried rice, crab Rangoon and chicken wings. First thing I noticed was that the chicken wings were a nice sized whole wing that wasn't breaded with flour and they were really good. The serving size for everything in the combo seemed to be decent and definitely 2 servings. I would for sure go back for the chicken wings. I recommend this place if you're looking for neighborhood Chinese in Medford and want something quick.

Food was good!! Wish they provided sweet & sour sauce on the side. Other then that it's it pass my check.

I order from Mei Ling's almost every day. It's the best Chinese restaurant! The front desk people are very nice and helpful. Every dish is super generous and delicious. Especially the salt n pepper pork chop and Crab Rangoon. They r absolutely amazing. The pork chop is perfectly crispy and spicy, and the Crab Rangoon is stuffed full of filling. All my friends and family all love Mei Ling's too! All of you guys must be try it!!!!!!!!

    21. Boneless Ribs, Crab Rangoon and Pork Lo Mein Beware not normal lo mein noodles and bland
    London Night Life K.

Stay away!!! Worst Chinese food I ever had and bland! I ordered crab Rangoon, ribs, lo mein combo and mushrooms in oyster sauce. It was on the free deliver section on uber eats. How dare they call this lo mein, the noodles were flat and nothing like lo mein noodles. I was truly disappointed as I was craving lo mein. That is not even the worst part... everything was bland. I was starving so I was able to atleast eat half the meal only after drenching everything in hot sauce and soy sauce. And don't event get me started with the "mushrooms in oyster sauce" it was basically mushroom in oyster sauce SOUP and I don't even under stand how they manage to make oyster sauce bland... never ordering from here again.

General Gau's was edible but it came with pineapples in it which is unusual and would be a problem if I was allergic

#16. Boneless Ribs, Beef Teriyaki and Pork Fried Rice I also added a side of Chicken Wings

My food was perfect. Not greasy and messy. Carefully packed. Beef Teriyaki was cooked just how i like it, and i've been having a hard time finding beef teriyaki i actually like.

Beef and Beef with Broccoli & Boiled White Rice

Omg love!!! The saucy beef and broccoli dish over boiled white rice is made perfectly. It's a simple dish but to make it this good takes skills. The broccoli was sautéed nicely with the marinated and tender beef strips. Mouth watering good!

Combo #22 of sesame chicken, chicken on a stick, crab rangoons and pork fried rice.

Food is real good here. The only problem I can say is the actual language barrier. And they get lost while delivering.

Food here is hit or miss. When they are good they are spot on. When it's not good it's not good. It's hard to keep good chefs happy.

A little above average. -- Spare Ribs on the bone: Painted on every surface with a nice char to complement the glaze. A thicker cut than most. Just like last time, they looked like a reheat, but still had very good texture (tender, moist) and decent enough flavor. Above average. -- Pork Egg Foo Yong: A trio of thick patties flooded with light brown sauce. Good crispness underneath. Soft and tender with big chunks of pork that wasn't dried out. Good overall flavor from the fry, the onions, and the pork, as well as the sauce. Near-elite to elite. -- Kung Pao Chicken: A little different here, with much larger shreds of chicken, a little darker than most, less celery and peanuts than most, a profusion of peppers, and pleasing spiciness to the soy-based sauce. Very enjoyable. Above average to well above average. -- Peking Noodles: A little different, and in a good way. More of a fine shred than a crumble, much spicier, and a little gloppier. Good feel to the egg noodles. I don't get this dish often enough to compare, but I enjoyed it. No OMG moments, but no complaints. Solid lunch, flavorful entrees, and I departed with a higher opinion than before. Upping to 4 stars.

Whenever we crave Chinese food this is the place we run too!…read more The restaurant is located at the Arlington heights plaza area and they have plenty of seating for big and small parties. Everytime we show up for dinner there is always alot of take out orders which is a good sign. There is one very nice waitress which runs around alot when the place is packed but she does a very good job of providing timely service to everyone. We really enjoy the hand pulled noodles which is a must every time we done in. They are cooked perfectly and are packed with flavor of whichever dish you choose them with. We also really enjoy their dry hot pot, especially the shrimp dry pot. It's a stir fry kind of dish packed with several veggies like red peppers, broccoli and much more! The soups are also very good and rich in flavor and are perfect for a chilly day. Some of them are served in a large portion so they are perfect for sharing. You really can't go wrong with any dish! The menu is insanely long and they have a code system for each item tagged with a letter and number which makes it easier to order. We really enjoy dining here and it's always fun to try a new dish from their large menu!

Yes, I'm talking about food. It was once a tale of two spots. One in Watertown and one right here. As I resided in closer to the Watertown location since the move here, I frequented it and found solace in their dishes - absolute comfort food that was done very well. However, like all businesses, things change and eventually the business was sold. I knew there was a transition period and the owner and chefs stuck around to "train" the new owners. I hoped that the "good" would remain and that the new owners would continue the tradition of wonderfully curated dishes and keep the regulars coming back. Did it happen? No. I gave them about a month of repeated visits to gauge their level of culinary competence but it never came through. Long story short. I stopped going and that feeling of lost love began to fester. I didn't think much of it. I thought he had sold this place too since I've often overheard him saying how hard it was to run this business to his associates as he tried to satisfy every customer walking in the door or ringing the phone off the hook. So when I finally found a chance to be on this side of town, I decided to stop by and give it a shot. Maybe, maybe I thought, the new owners here would do a much better take on what they had taken over. What I didn't expect after placing an order was to see the owner walking out from the kitchen with dishes in hand to serve another table. Eyes wide open, I couldn't help but say, "HEY! Good to see you again." He in return showed the same look and smiled greeting me back with fondness and delight. That's when I spoke to the lady and asked more about the whole situation, wherein she explained how they sold the other place but kept this one. Regulars of the other spot now take the 15-20 minute drive just to come up here instead for a meal. I smiled. It made sense. They must have felt robbed when they went back after the place was sold. Food wasn't even remotely the same. Don't even talk about service either. Anyways, long story short, when the food came out. I felt this completeness return back to my soul. Here, once again, I felt home away from home. The food did me justice. The flavors impeccable. The culinary finesse was displayed thoroughly with each bite. So it is, once again, I found my long lost love again in Boston and can't wait to be here every single Sunday for a wonderful special meal that teleports me back to what "Home Tastes" like.

Food was about 8/10. We didn't try any of the true Sechuan dishes, so I couldn't tell you how "authentic" it is in the spice department. However, we did not regret coming here instead of braving the traffic and terrible parking situation in Chinatown on a Friday evening. Prices were about average: not great, not terrible. The two of us shared three dishes with a little bit taken home in a to-go container, for about seventy bucks with tip. Service was good even though our server's English was spotty at best, but she was prompt, energetic, and plenty friendly enough. They leave a tall pitcher of water at every table, which I wish every restaurant would do. It shows that they don't expect to make most of their money pushing overpriced soft drinks and crappy beer like many places. Ambiance is actually pretty good, though the tables were pushed closer together than I would've liked. This would not be a bad place to take a date. I saw a lot of young-ish couples, many of them sharing large pans of whole baked fish with veggies...will have to try that next time!

Fish Fillet with Hot Chili Sauce水煮魚片: As expected of their signature dish! The basa fish fillets were incredibly tender, the Szechuan peppercorns were fragrant but not numbing, and the overall flavor was oily but not greasy. The Szechuan people present commented that this was the only dish with flavor. The beef was very tender; although you could taste the tenderizing powder, it wasn't a big problem. Scallions and Szechuan peppercorns contributed much to the fragrance. Pork Intestine with Preserved Vegetable酸菜大腸: Surprisingly, it tasted like... Hakka cuisine? The pork intestines were cut on the thicker side, not the usual kind, but the slightly sour and spicy flavor with a light thickening was just right. Spicy Frog in Fried Pot乾鍋牛蛙: Despite the name, there was a lot of sauce; the bullfrog meat was too tough and chewy. Not recommended. Ma Po Tofu (With minced pork)麻婆豆腐: Very delicious! The tofu was very tender, and the Sichuan peppercorns were very fragrant. Duck with Peking Plum Sauce京醬鴨片: The duck meat was mushy and lacked texture, and the Beijing plum sauce was heavily diluted. I had a feeling of not knowing what I had eaten. Sichuan Spicy Dumpling紅油水餃: I loved them!! The dumplings were large, the filling was generous, and the skin was on the thicker side, giving them a good chewy and firm texture. Besides the chili oil and peanuts, there was a hint of vinegar, which was very refreshing. Steamed Juicy Pork Bun小籠包: The restaurant claims they are handmade daily. Plenty of soup filling, but slightly oily; the skin was chewy but not dry, unfortunately one was broken.
