My friend turned me on to this place and I am very pleased. Lunch plates are 5.50 till 3pm and it is cooked fresh right in front of you. And good portions. I didn't give it 5 stars because now they charge you 3 percent more of total bill if you use a credit or debit card and not cash read more

I called to place an order and spoke to a rude girl on the phone. She was annoyed that I was asking her for prices. I mean, how dare I?! How dare I want to know how much delivery is and how much prices are for the food? When I got that attitude I said just cancel my order and the little girl got annoyed. Smh ETA: After reading all the reviews I'm glad I got the royal hag on the phone. She saved me from ordering and eating food with a roach in it like the pic below. Eating out is always a risk but *Ewwwe* read more

Two stars because it's not the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life, but good grief, this was pretty awful. 1. Brown is not a flavor. The vegetable fried rice had a brown sauce but was flavorless. And not fried. I added sesame sauce & tamari & I'll fry it up tomorrow, because I was stupid enough to get a large, so I have enough for a week's worth of lunch. But you know, when I have to add sauce & cook it myself, that sorta defeats the purpose. 2. Grease is not a flavor. This however was the predominant flavor for the scallion pancakes. The "sauce" was mostly vinegar and disgusting, in the teeniest, tiniest container, such that it'd be impossible to actually dip, if the sauce were edible. 3. General Gao's chicken exactly that. Chicken. No rice, no veggies. Nada. Ugh. I have low standards. I like Chinese food that tastes alright if you're drunk. This was inedible, drunk or sober. read more

Picture of my chicken chowmein...its like pieces of look like chicken dipped in onion broth..I have been around the world and have had various chowmein with various recipes but this flat nasty.. read more

Dragon Chef - Chinese Near Me - Everett, Massachusetts

Nothing compares to NYC Chinese food but Dragon Chef will do. Ive eaten here several times and i have to say the food is pretty yummy. Only reason i didnt give a 5 star was because the food was a bit salty. read more

First time here. The people were total dicks, and the food was absolutely disgusting. I literally just threw away $30.

Dragon chef always delivers exactly what you expect and more. We are repeat customers because the quality is always good. Sometimes we expand our menu choices and try something new as well. You won't go wrong read more

Quick, Delicious, Friendly. That is my best way of summing up Dragon Chef in Everett. My family has been going to this location since the very early 80's and they have maintained the same quality, value and taste through the years. My favorite is the lo-mein, with a side of lobster sauce and crab rangoon. Hits the spot every time. The location can be difficult on occasion, but it adds to the hole in the wall type of charm. read more

yesterday I went to buy food! Chicken Wings With Rice. wait 20 minutes and then they give me poorly cooked chicken. Please people very carefully eat at this place! the chicken has many bacteria so it has to be completely cured. Thank you read more

Food was always ok, but something I just found out about ordering with a credit card. they are now charging 4% if you use one, big mistake with the amount of Chinese restaurants around. Who was the genius that thought this was a good idea. I'm done ordering from there if they're going to nickel and dime me. read more

Dont go here. Food was gross. Only been there once. And the last. Food was greasy and definitely no flavor at all. Ribs were like leather. Beef was not tender. Just total not edible. read more

Waited for 45 minutes for my order. I understand Christmas Eve but the guy next to me said he put his order in 3 days early and it took him 45 minutes to pick up his order. This place has changed, overpriced for what you get. I'll never order from this place again. read more

Spicy chicken is delicious with celery and peanuts. Goes well with rice. Portions are generous. Peking ravioli and lo mein and also very good. read more

Why did everyone on here say this was good.... This is the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The sesame chicken... is that even real chicken? The cream cheese in the Crab Rangoon I'm 75% sure is spoiled.. Wtf are you guys talking about .. I'm over here wondering where the board of health is. Never again. read more

Been coming here since I was too young too weak. Joe 27..still the best lobster sauce anywhere and pork fried rice. Everything is very good from suck a small hold in the wall place. If anyone haven't tried this place. Just give it a shot and thanks me later. read more

After moving to the Everett area, I have been trying to find a chinese food restaurant that is similar to the one I grew up with and I think Dragon Chef is as close as it gets. Don't expect a warm welcome from the lady who takes your order as its just a take out place and they couldn't care less about manners. If you're picking up its a small waiting area with only a few chairs and it gets a little crowded while you wait. we always walk next door to the convenience store to get cokes since they only supply pepsi products. Their portions are good sizes and everything is always cooked well. The crab rangoons are amazing. We've ordered the general gau's and beef and broccoli as well as just rice and some appetizers. The only thing I can think of that we didn't like was the fried shrimp. way too doughy and teeny tiny shrimp. Not worth the money so we won't order those again. read more

What can I say, except that this place is awesome. If you're in the area, you have to try out their dinner plates. They have a boat load to choose from. My favorites include number 3, 8, 14, and 16. If you're into duck sauce, you better ask for extra, you will love it. It goes great with the crab rangoons. This place is pretty small so you'll have to be aware that they are take out only, but they do deliver (pretty fast). I noticed there is a lunch menu recently....must be new. On new years eve, you better place your orders well in advance though, you'll be waiting a long time if you don't. Also, they limit what you can buy in terms of sizes...so when its busy you can't get those awesome dinner plates. I guess thats the only bad thing. read more

really good food! staf friendly and their Crab rangoon... to die for! Food tastes fresh. It's our usual take-out spot on weekends :) read more

The food here is as it should be. Tasty, traditional" American Chinese" . They've recently changed packaging I believe, this didn't make us happy. We are a large family of 6 and the old LG boxes suited us well. So you can imagine a family of 4 would have faired well with LG sizes. Ok, other than that and that the lady who works the desk is less than polite..well it's a take out only place so your not coming for the warm ambience and friendly hostess. Don't expect it. Do expect good food decently priced in a very timely manner. When you consider the other local Chinese food places in the area Dragon Chef is the best deal around. read more

I have been coming for years and the food is always delicious and fresh. The staff are very nice too. One of my favorite Chinese food places in the city of Everett. read more

Called to order chicken Teriyaki. What can be more simple? Lady was very rude and hanged up on me!!! I ordered there before, and their food was not good for what they charge you. read more

I pass this place on the way home and always wanted to give it a try but really did not want to get off the bus to be disappointed. I read a couple of reviews on here and everyone loved it so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. The food here is really good. They have some of the best egg foo young I have ever had and their lobster sauce is good too. I liked that they had 3 sizes on the menu so when u are too hungry for a small or not piggy enough for a large you can get a medium and be happy. I got delivery and it was pretty fast and the food was still hot. Definitely my go to spot for decent Chinese when I am craving the more Americanized version. read more

My favorite neighborhood Chinese place!!! Cheap as hell, and the food is great too. Awesome Duck Sauce, always ask for extra. Always laugh when I get bread in my to go bag, cuz that never happens back home in CT. They serve an awesome Wonton Soup that is chock full of veggies, and the most tasty broth. Pork Fried Rice is premade, so always order beef or chicken if you want it fresh. When I am feeling lazy and don't want to walk that 2 blocks they deliver too. Only gave four stars cuz they have no place to eat in, and their parking lot is hard to navigate in. Other than that totally awsome. read more

this is me and my family's "go-to" chinese take-out. Good food (for chinese take-out), quick deliveries, quick pick-up times if you are picking up, and prices are good too. I was gonna give it 4 stars but I gotta give it 5 stars because I have been ordering from them for many years and I have never had a complaint to them. Always had my orders right and always delivered on time as they promised. read more

Also order Chinese here. It's quick and always open when I want to eat a late meal. Yum! Great beef teriyaki and crab Rangoon are pretty good too! read more

I love this place! My favorite Chinese food place in Everett and I've tried them all!

3 star because the spare ribs were dry an flavorless but I like everything (chicken teriyaki, and the crabrangoons are crazy good. Delivery took like an hour an im literally down the street so yeah. The lady at the front is cool everyone says she's rude but I think it's good she getting the job done. read more

I wish I could give this place 0! I just called for a pick up order and the woman literally SCREAMED at me for no reason and hung up on my face. Extremely rude!!!! Employees don't know how to take the phone politely. If you have any question about anything in the menu you cannot ask, unless you wanna make them furious. read more

I love this place - scallion pancake + peking ravioli all day long.

Place is super fast and cheap. Price does not reflect the quallity of the food which is very good. Love the lo meins, fried rice and the Egg Rolls are awesome. Highly recommend. read more

worst, worst, worst, worst, worst service. Lady behind counter is miserable! I actually left there today without ordering anything, because the woman sucked so bad!!!! No way would I ever return! Place was empty, maybe that is why!! read more

really fast service.. lunch specials are very reasonable. good portion size with enough to save for later..

I was talking on to the guy on the telephone nicest guy ever...but they only deliver after 5 o'clock cant wait for 5 :D

Always liked the food here..but, it has gone down hill a bit in recent years. The chicken teriyaki is a concern. It's way too fatty...and the texture doesn't even seem like chicken. Won't order that again. read more

I have lived in Everett for years & until ordering from this place have not enjoyed a decent order of Chinese food in this area. Most dishes in other places have been greasy and tasteless. I thought I would give this place a try. To my complete surprise the food was outstanding! I have a fondness for crabs raggoon but always found them so over-fried to the point it barely had any taste, so I had stopped ordering it anywhere else. Wow what a thrill to find those I ordered here were creamy, cooked just right and bigger than others. The pu pu platter was wonderful. Each piece was cooked to perfection, delicious & reveled in it's own flavor. The eggrolls (another thing that tended to be over-fried) was the best I've ever had. If you like over-cooked crunchy food you may not like eating food from here but if you are particular and want to enjoy a meal made with pride & cooked to perfection--go to Dragon Chef! read more
