My family and I used to go here years ago. I haven't been there I. Years since they passed. I drive by every day to and from work and decided to call in an order for myself Saturday night. Im so glad I did. It was delicious. It will probs OY be my new go to restaurant for Asian food. The breaded shrimp was better than the other places that have more dough than shrimp. I have to be careful how I review these places. In case anyones depending on my credible words. I've been eating here for quite some time. I'm not exactly impressed. For this area, it is better than others I've had , it is not amazing. Few times seemed freshly made to order, other times ....meh. Portions are good size but probably will not furfill a husky guy. Online orderding seems like only 30% of the menu is present. Very aggervating. Needs improvement there. Very friendly , have not experienced anyone with a chip on their shoulders. Yet. No issues with parking to get my food. Plenty of space to eat indoors. The establishment is always clean to eye. Pricing is ok... stacks up fast. I order from here frequently and they are always on point. The delivery takes 30 minutes or less (I'm close by) and the food is piping hot and fresh! Their chicken fingers are the best! The fried rice and the lo mein are so tasty you don't even need the extra duck sauce. My mom orders the egg foo yung and it's amazing each time! Highly recommend! At long last, I've found decent Chinese food in this area, in a fairly unlikey spot. Tired of swollen hands after meals from Green Tea, totally unimpressed with Yan's Cafe and startled by the prices at Gourmet Garden, tonight we grabbed the Beijing menu and called for delivery. Hot and Sour soup was satisfyingly hot and stocked well with egg, mushrooms and a few wood ears. A bit more bamboo shoot would have made this top shelf stuff, but the smooth and subtle flavor of the broth made this soup special. The chicken teriyaki was tender and flavorful. They tossed in 5 pieces of Crab Rangoon since our order was over $15. Crispy and light, but why isn't this stuff called Fried Cream Cheese? My GF had Vegetable Lo Mein. She didn't rave. She said it was good. I was much too happy with my meal to check it out myself. You see, I was in Ma Po Tofu heaven. It's not on the menu, which is a bit of a hoot as it is. Under Vegetable they list a dish called Hot and Spicy Tofu. Beneath that, the description - no other dish even has a description - it says "Pork sauteed with bean curd peppers and green peans (sic) in house spicy sauce." When I ordered, I asked about this dish. "No. No pork," she said. I tried to point out the description and was getting nowhere. "What I wanted was Ma Po Tofu," I said. "I'll make that for you," she said. Wowsa! That's cool! While it isn't the best I ever had, it's pretty darn good. I got a nice sweat going, I'm in a happy mood, and there's enough of everything left for another endorphine rush at tomorrow's lunch. read more

For what it is to me, this place is the only place I order Chinese food. Here's what I like: the prices, the delivery, the ability to order/pay/tip online, the location, and the food. Been coming since I moved to the area a couple of years ago. Every time I order delivery, I get the scallion pancakes, and the 3 app choice combo with pork friend rice. Never had a mistake before (knock on wood). I love their rice. I also love their scallion pancakes. I cannot remember how I feel about their chicken fingers, crab rangoon, and beef teriyaki, but because I keep ordering, I assume I love those too. With a $5 tip (plus a little for tax and the delivery charge), my total is usually $21-22. Ah, the price of convenience. I think it would be like $14 if I went to pick it up. My husband makes fun of me for eating from here because it's no Gourmet Garden on the inside, and the outside of the building looks like it is lined with emerald green laminate tiles. Honestly, I don't care. I love the food--it's what I am accustomed to for generic Chinese in eastern Mass, and I want them to continue doing whatever it is they do to keep the prices down. I live just down the street from this restaurant and it is my go to for lunch on a day off or dinner when I don't feel like cooking. Their Lunch Specials are big, go till 3pm and most cost less than $6. They pair one entree with an app (I go for the Chicken Lo Mein with crab rangoons). Crab Rangoon's are way better than at Gourmet Garden or Fantasy Island. The young lady who answers the phone and works the counter (for the past 3yrs) is very thorough and friendly. She is always perky with a big smile on her face. That's important because this is strictly a pick up or delivery place. They have a few tables but I've never seen anyone dining in. I needed a Hot and Sour soup for a hideous cold, and Beijing's did not disappoint (so good!). In fact, nothing disappointed.. especially the fact that this clean and shiny place is around the corner from my house. Super fresh and speedy, and with a lot of signage proclaiming the nutritiousness of the offerings, we are confident that we have found our new go-to Chinese takeout. I am not a huge fan of Chinese food. But this place is good. They don't have pad Thai though, which makes me a little sad. So, I normally get the hot and sour soup, their lo mein is DELICIOUS (I normally get pork lo mein). Their not too pricey and they're very speedy! They always get my order correct. I ordered the General Tso's chicken, crab rangoons, veg. fried rice, and beef teriyaki. I was not disappointed in any of it. The only thing I would have liked was the General's chicken to be spicier....but they did include hot sauce, so I think I'll try putting that on it next time and see what happens. Crab rangoons were excellent; not too doughy nor too cream cheese-ish. The order arrived much faster than I thought it would. Got a lot of good food for my money. I read the reviews and decided to give it a shot, i order the usual from chinese-american restaurants to gauge them. General Tso's Peking Dumplings Crab Ragoons all of these were very bland and generic, most places that stand out to me have their own twist on these items, but from this place it was that usual recipe...it's not bad food but when i want chinese food i want nothing but the best and this place is far from it. i wish the owners luck and hopefully they can find a way to stand out in the chinese culinary world but with the taste of my meal i got tonight i don't think they can. read more

Iv'e had this place a few times when I come to Lynn but Oh lord can be a hit or miss with them, The hit or miss items ... .Beef teriyaki can be either too tough & bland or fatty but a few times it has been VERY VERY good The beef in the Beef & broccoli can be the same way and in the pepper steak Iv'e got & has been hard & stringy 2. I ordered online and picked up in the restaurant. Waited 30 mins for my two meals and apps. They got two phone calls and one take out during that time. The kitchen is "closed" by a dirty heavy sheet of plastic that had been cut into strips. It needed to be cleaned or thrown away. A cook came out from behind the kitchen to smoke a cigarette. No one wore gloves. The main lady handled money and the phone in the middle of making my food. I got general gau's chicken, orange chicken, scallion pancakes, and hot and sour soup. The soup was great. The crab Rangoon were great. The pork fried rice was moist, but lacked flavor. Some pfr has other things besides pork, like bean sprouts, scallions or onions and egg. Theirs just had pork, which was kind of boring for the palate. The sauce for the scallion pancakes was good. The chicken terriaki was rubbery, fatty and firm, not lean or soft. The chicken balls were pretty small, with a lot of breading. The flavor of the general guas and the orange chicken was pretty similar, but they were enjoyable. It tasted good. The chicken balls weren't too firm either, which is good. I only had one ball that had some kind of a tendon or something in it. They obviously used the typical dark meat. The fortune cookies were really soft. They bent rather than broke when trying to retrieve the fortune. They tasted alright. Not great. Overall, it was fine. Somethings were great, others left me wanting. I will continue patronizing yans down the street instead of this place. Yans has better wait time, similar prices, and better food across the board. read more

This place has no idea about customer service. I ordered an online delivery at 6.45pm - at 8.45pm I called to find out where the order was. I was told "sorry, it's busy, and, by the way, we are not doing several items that were on your order". I was shocked - I had 2 children waiting for supper and there was no willingness to do anything to help unless I spent more money to "upgrade" the items that suddenly were not available. I order from this place regularly, but no more. I can understand being busy, but take care of your customer. read more
