Grill fish is the one of my favorite dishes! They can make special dishes per your request that surprised me. I love the environment that is quiet in the dining area and staffs are nice and kind. We are very enjoy to the food and service.

    Awesome bartender!

Great authentic Chinese food. The Spare Ribs were incredible. This is a local gem! The bartenders are always friendly and make outstanding Mai Tai's!

What a fantastic find!!! We were so excited to find this gem in the North shore. The food was absolutely delicious. If you prefer traditional Chinese food, ask the waiter for off menu items.

Great food. The selections are decent. The prices are reasonable. The food tastes great. White rice needs to be ordered separately.

When I go to north shore mall to shop, I definitely stop by The Villa to eat my lunch or dinner. The staff are very nice. I highly recommend Jenny who is the best bartender. All the food are fresh and taste yummy!

Food is delicious but the Mai Tai is all sour mix. I had to ask for a dark rum floater.

Served with spiked soy sauce for drizzling or dipping. Nice change-of-pace item. -- Salt and Pepper Wings: Breaded, fried, seasoned, and topped with black pepper, fresh peppers, and onions. Crisp and juicy, but ultimately not that spicy. Still enjoyable. -- Wontons: Crisp, standard, solid. -- House Asian Noodle: Thin yellow noodles, some bites crispy, some chewy, topped with scallops, shrimp, chicken and vegetables, mixed with a rice wine sauce. I found both the seafood and the sauce (or lack thereof) bland. -- General Gao's Chicken: Bite size pieces, impressively crisp, though slightly dry, tossed in a reddish sauce with a little more heat and a little less sweet than most. -- Shrimp and Lobster Sauce: Nice rendition, sauce thin but not watery, and certainly not gloppy, with gentle pork crumbles, good black bean flavor and whole black beans in there too. -- Pork Fried Rice: Very fresh preparation with decent color, hints of old time flavor, and generous allotments of pork nuggets, bean sprouts, onion, and egg. One of the better ones out there. More of a good meal than a great one, but still good enough to cling onto the 4.

My boyfriend liked the food, but I'm not really a fan. We got pork lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, bone-in ribs and Thai chicken teriyaki. We called to place a takeout order and went by the menu on their website. I wish there were photos or better descriptions for all dishes. Sweet & Sour Chicken is one of my favorite dishes and it is a main dish (not an appetizer), but this was served as chicken fingers with sauce on the side. While I liked the flavor of chicken fingers and the chicken wasn't dry, I am disappointed that it is the same as ordering chicken fingers appetizer, just paying more. Thai Chicken Teriyaki (chicken skewers) is another favorite of mine. While this was ok, I wouldn't get it again. The chicken was cooked right and wasn't dry, but I didn't get much flavor besides something acidic (like vinegar based marinade). It didn't taste bad, but somewhat bland. It came with peanut sauce, which was completely frozen and also looked very unappetizing, so I didn't even try it. Pork lo mein and Bone-in ribs were not for me at all. They both had weird taste/aftertaste, so I only tried them and can't comment much. My boyfriend seemed to like both ok.

We got take out after dark, so I couldn't get any decent food pics, but it was tasty. The Tom Kai soup, with a coconut milk base, was AMAZING! This surprised us in a really good way. It was full of chicken and veggies. The flavor was consistent and deliciously strong. The Tom Yom soup was good-not particularly spicy and full of chicken and mushrooms. The tom yum spice flavor was prominent. We've had better though. The Massaman curry we ordered with chicken and white rice was good. The sauce was flavorful and the quantity was good. The Gai Prow with ground chicken was good. I've had better nearby and this is one of my staples to order. The flavors were good and the quality of the ingredients was good. I would order it again-if I need Thai comfort food. The spiciness was a bit lower than I expected, which was fine for my needs. While waiting, there is a little covered waiting area with a TV, movies playing, and a fake fireplace. It's cute!

Flavor was good with all the dishes, but their drunken noodles was what tanked their rating - there were more veggies than noodles and bunch of oil sitting at the bottom of the container. Their basil fried rice was very delicious- my partner had no complaints about his dish. I wouldn't order the appetizer combo again because the dumplings and egg rolls were just filled with cabbage and lacked flavor. Their crab rangoons were very filled and yummy. I'd eat here again and just order something else, still recommend it to those in the area.

The word that comes to mind when I think of the meal was genuinely savory across many flavor profiles. None of the dishes came out particularly spicy hot. The Larb Gai was tangy with the lime coming through and served with sticky rice. Absolutely delicious. The Penang curry was rich and full of both protein and veggies. We got it with white rice and the curry was so tasty with the peanut flavor present. The Tom Yum soup was among the best we have ever had, with the right amount of rich flavors, saltiness, and slightest bit of hot pepper. The mushrooms absorb the flavor and are so good! We started with Paradise Beef (it comes with 4 strips, but we ate two before I took the picture). It's like a cross between beef jerky and satay, with a flavor that boasts tangy and a hint of sweetness, emboldened by the sweet and sour sauce. This was something we ordered just because the description was interesting and it was a wonderful way to start the meal! The atmosphere is classic with a modern flair and extremely clean. The service was pleasant, prompt, friendly, and natural. We found street parking, which was convenient. Overall, this is hidden gem. We will gladly return!

Hadn't been here in a few years so decided to check back in recently. My wife and I dined in…read more Food was as tasty as I remembered, but some issues remained that would prevent me from visiting more regularly. My main gripe was with the green curry (my favorite Thai food): I asked for it "extra spicy". The waitress then said, "okay, so 3 spicy, medium?" And I said, "no, extra spicy. As many spicy as you can make it, I like it very hot". Well, the dish arrived and it was pretty mild. The curry also didn't have a lot to it. Green curry normally has a lot of vegetables, but there were maybe 1 or 2 tiny pieces of bell pepper, a few peas and green beans, but most of the vegetable was the bambo shoots. I'd like to see more "green" in my green curry. The amount of chicken was very weak too, especially for a $17 dish. So overall, the portion was small, at least for a full grown man like me who wasn't about to shell out for a bunch of appetizers on a weeknight. They normally include white rice with the curry dishes, but I remembered that it's always a pretty weak portion, especially considering this is what you need to make the curry dish more substantial in the absence of other ingredients as mentioned above. Instead of ordering an extra white rice, I decided this time to order a side of the sticky rice. Big mistake as it was so tough that I couldn't even get my fork in it. I've had sticky rice before but never had to cut it with a knife. I had planned to integrate it with my green curry but it was obviously a poor choice for that. Not worth the $4, despite the fancy little box it was presented in. My wife's mango fried rice was overall more worthwhile as it seemed more substantial and had a nice flavor. She saved about half of it, which was a pretty good amount for leftover. However, they came back out with a tiny box that made us suspect that they didn't really package all of it. Lastly, we didn't order anything with uncooked greens given the cyclosporiasis outbreak that's currently all over the news. Somehow, I ended up with a piece of lettuce on the table (perhaps stuck to the bottom of one of the dishes - not sure if that's a dishwashing issue or if there's just pieces of lettuce sitting around the kitchen). So that was a bit off-putting. Still, overall this is better than some of the Thai places I've been to. If you go, try some of the iced tea flavors like mango or ginger jasmine - very sweet but in a good way.
