We visited here again after July 4th. Pu Pu Platter and Appetizer Sampler were a good combo. A lot of different options to pick. Unagi sushi and Salmon sashimi were the bombs. Will definitely return again.

Honey spare ribs, crab rangoons, cucumber shrimp sushi, veggie chow mein, beef lo mein, generals chicken.

Service was good food was mid. Big bar with tvs showing the game so a lot of potential. Drinks were decent but food was not very flavorful. Beef in the beef lo mein was not great. Calamari was too heavy on salt compared to others in the area. Chicken was good and chow mein was solid.

Fried rice clumpy, mealy and cinnamon-flavored

We have been customers for a long time. Tonight we were disappointed with all our food. I ordered my usuals: chicken with broccoli, shrimp egg foo young, chicken amazing and pork fried rice. It was all bland except for the pork -fried rice which looked and tasted like Spanish rice. The shrimp egg foo young was filled with only bean sprouts and onion and each 'patty' had one small shrimp. The brown sauce was lumpy and bland. The chicken and broccoli had no flavor. The chicken amazing was overly sweet. All of the items we have had before at this establishment. I'm not sure if it is the new ownership, but we will not be returning anytime soon.

Very happy with our overall experience at Ginger Gourmet! For drinks, we enjoy sitting at the bar and having either a mai tai or scorpion bowl for two. We had the General Gaus chicken combo special, beef lo mein and sushi. (Photos of sushi- Philadelphia and Spicy Tuna) The combination special has very generous portions and you will probably have leftovers. Highly recommend dining in or takeout/delivery.

Just ok.. nothing great. Their fried food was very greasy and flavor wasn't great. Would choose another restaurant next time.

Good food at a reasonable price. I enjoy the L4. Staff is always friendly. Decor is nice, nothing fancy but does the trick.

They have so many toppings you can choose from. Great variety! The service is quick and efficient. The ambiance makes you feel like you are in Japan. The moment you walk in there are high top seats at the window, and a lot of small tables. The walls are decorated with Japanese ads and artworks. They have 2 television screens: 1 with anime playing and 1 with a Japanese style pbs station (showing cooking, travel, etc...). They fill up quickly but it just goes to show you how many people love it! You can do take out orders or dine in. They have you scan a QR code on your table to send you to their menu, which ends up being where you order and pay for everything. You then will get your drinks. Then any appetizers you order. Then your food will be out quickly. Highly recommend!

A really nice ramen place to visit on cold winter days!…read more We've been here a few times in the past year and we're always pleased with the quality and flavor. We've ordered tonkatsu ramen, spicy Tokyo ramen, takoyaki, gyoza, the matcha latte, sake, calpico, and likely some other things over the visits and it's also delicious. The restaurant has an authentic feel and is decorated with a lot of vintage Japanese memorabilia and posts and such, it lends a nice vibe to the food. Service is a bit laid back, all orders are done via an app or website and the servers simply bring the food to you. But they are attentive with water refills and bussing of tables so it's not lazy. I recommend Akita!

Ok let me see, I will start with the good parts of what I did like. 1. Egg foo young (vegetable).... This was probably the best part of the meal along with the gravy (although slightly thick). 2. Crispy chicken wings, I got these for my boyfriend because he loves chicken wings, it comes with 5 wings in the order, when I noticed that he only ate 2 out of the 5 I knew there was a problem because he loves wings and barely have any complaints. When I asked him what was wrong he said no flavor just wings fried. 3. Hot and sour soup, well the good part about the soup was it had a bunch of items in the broth and not just all broth, which is a plus, the only down side is the soup was way to sweet and I didn't taste any spice at all. 4. Chicken fried rice, I was happy when I noticed it was brown, the last few places I went to the fried rice was white or beige so I thought I was on to something here, unfortunately the chicken in the rice was NOT chicken, first it was a weird texture and I never seen chicken in a long string shaped either. If I had to guess I would say that it was tofu, but i know better than to even confuse it as tofu as I am a huge tofu person. 5. The beef and broccoli, well let's say I ate all the broccoli and left the beef in the container.
