    NS1. Special Beef Pho Supreme
    Erin C.

Dropped in here for some pho and was not disappointed. They had a nice selection of soup and other Thai cuisine and looking around at the tables next to me, it all looked good! I ordered the medium beef pho and the portion was huge, I was very hungry going into it and could barely finish it. The broth was very savory and was light and savory without being sweet or salty. It had a generous portion of meat in it as well as plenty of noodles. The waiter was so sweet and answered our many questions and made recommendations for us, great customer service. We also ordered some fries as a side that were good they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also ordered the lime-ade wnd it was delicious very refreshing and not too sweet or sour and went perfectly with the savory soup.

I was in the city of Lowell and my friend recommended this spot. AMBIANCE: Parking: A small plaza parking but there's also street parking too Seating: Inside seating, good for groups. There's about room for 50 people. Feels: Lot of history in this history. The "first" industrial city of US. You can see its historical elements from the architecture, the businesses, and working fields. It has a nice charm of a small town grit and grind culture. The spot itself is in the downtown area of Lowell with a lot of buildings and eateries. As for the restaurant, a pretty welcoming place with good Asian art, plant decor, and pop music. Good place for groups or a casual food adventure. FOOD: Sizzling Spicy Dry (Recommend) I chose fried fish as my protein, and it was well-cooked and battered, providing a good crunch. The ingredients of garlic, jalapenos, peppers, onions, scallions, cilantro and their homemade chili sauce gave it a good kick. Coconut Spring Rolls (Recommend) I picked the choice of shrimp as my protein and I'm glad about this choice. The shrimp was well cooked, good crunch, and a pleasant taste of coconut, add your usual spring rolls elements from fulfilling vermicelli, refreshing basil, and a nice slice of creamy avocado, you're in for a treat. Coconut Coffee (Recommend) Good, creamy, and sweet. This certainly gave me that boost of energy needed. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Dope! Friendly people and quick with the service. TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Great selections, delicious food, reasonable prices, and good vibes. I dig this spot. It certainly gives the West Coast a run for its money. I'm definitely inclined to come back here again, I dig the flavors and along their service to the community. Best wishes to the Nguyen family for bringing all the good flavors to Lowell! TIPS: * Check out their website for daily specials/discounts! * Elderly friendly - able to make healthy meals for elders!

Forgot to review the last time I was here, but remembered to get a snap of my food this time around! Got the Pho Supreme which was decent but is huge! (XL bowl size runs you about $15). They have a good selection of dishes ranging for Chinese, Thai, Khmer, and even Italian pasta dishes! It wasn't a particularly busy night so the service was good and it was nice and quiet. Will be back here the next time I'm in Lowell!

Was in Lowell running an errand and decided to find a Vietnamese restaurant as there aren't too many around Winchester MA. We ordered the teriyaki beef fresh rolll (chili dipping sauce) and the pork fresh roll (classic peanut sauce). Both were stuffed full and made well. Fresh and tasty. The dipping sauces were also good. For our main course I had the Phò with rare beef and tripe and it was delicious. A great broth that was savory but light and not sweet. Well balanced! My husband had the pork wonton noodle soup. Plenty of wontons (simple pork) and pork slices. Broth was sweeter than we would have preferred. But overall the food was fresh and great tasting and portions for the soup were generous. $58 for 2 appetizers, 2 soups, and 2 beers. Service was fine and accomodating I'll surely go again!

parking lot is very small. there's plenty of street parking. it's a really bad area, lock you car door, don't leave valuables visibly out. there's a sign on the restaurant door stating lock your car. we watched a fist fight take place across the street. stopped in for dinner on friday. we ordered the chicken spring roll. the roll was hot from the fried chicken and the rest is cold. i like the temp difference. the sauce it came with was on the sweet side. we also ordered the vietnamese sausage rice plate. the sausage was nice. the other entree was the sizzling spicy dry squid. the squid was very nice and crispy. the sauce that coated was way too sweet. i literally got a sugar rush. there's more sugar in that dish than two scoops of ice cream. overall it was good.

    Pad Thai

Stopped in for a Valentine's Day dinner. Started with the Sweet Cilantro wings and the Sizzling Kitchen fresh rolls. Both were excellent! The wings were crispy and hot with a slightly sweet and tangy sauce. The fresh rolls did not disappoint. Filled to the max with kimchi, veggies and more. My wife had the bibimbap with tofu and fried egg on top (see pic). Sizzling and steaming in its cauldron with extra veggies and brown rice (she stole my idea!) I had the Pad Thai with chicken (see pic) which was very good, fresh and light.

Highly recommend !! Wonton noodle soup is my fav one . We orders fried jumbo shrimp and squid and serve with white rice . It's spicy but so goooooodddd

This place used to be a great place to come eat but unfortunately I don't think it's worth but if you want the sizzling plate definitely still get that. The chicken wings were also delicious you can never go wrong with chicken wings they were nicely sauced. The pho was more on the plain side and as a Vietnamese I wouldn't recommend and the kimchi jjigae was very sweet, it had like green cabbage instead of the standard napa and the rice was pretty dry to eat it with. The server was not very attentive but they were nice we just had to call them over every time.

Are they able to accommodate someone with allergies? Specifically nuts and sesame seeds/sesame oil?

I have a nut allergy and have no issues finding things to eat here. Their online menu specifies if an item contains a common allergen. I usually just mention my allergies and they will accommodate them.

    How's the pricing?

I ordered the cauliflower crust, and unfortunately the kitchen confused two of the pizzas. They had to send them back to be remade, which is not usually a big deal. However, on this particular day, it took about an hour and a half to get a small cauliflower crust pizza. We were told multiple times that our order was next, but we saw multiple other pizzas go out to other tables around us who got there after us. It still took about 45 minutes from the time it was supposed to have been remade to the time it actually came out. I was told multiple excuses, but I've worked in the industry, and this was exceptionally unfortunate. The manager never came over to us, but the bartender was quite apologetic. It was also his first day on the job. It seems that there are some managerial issues at this restaurant, and the other one closed recently. I do hope they work out the kinks because the food was really good, but I don't think I will ever go back.

Not that I minded spending 3 hours dining - it was 6 of us catching up - but it was more about the timing, and not being able to get service at the times we needed it. Our party had reserved a very nice window table, overlooking the hilltop golf course and supposedly with distant views of Boston, though I couldn't spot it. Our waitress was perfectly fine though obviously overworked. Not enough staff to cover this large dining room. It took a surprisingly long time to get our drinks. The slowness continued throughout the meal, and one of my companions had to drink his dirty martini "clean", the blue cheese-stuffed olives he asked for arriving too late. We ordered three appetizers for sharing: Antipasto alla Italiana, Meatball Trio, and Steamed Mussels. The Antipasto, an assortment of Italian meats and cheeses was oddly served as a "tower": the prosciutto draped over a metal frame like Irish Moss on a live oak, the blob of burrata on the top like a UFO had just landed in the treetop. Clever, or bizarre? I say the latter. The other meats were laid out flat on the base, hard to pick up. This dish was not at all easy for sharing, though it was clearly intended for that. It was heavy on the meats, with not enough cheeses or veggies. A more balanced selection would likely permit a lower cost as well. I considered the $33 price, the highest by far of their appetizers, severely overpriced. The steamed mussels were very disappointing. Tiny, not much bigger across than a nickel! The broth, supposedly of white wine, garlic, preserved lemons, capers, red pepper, and fennel, tasted of little more than salt. When I could access it that is. This dish was served in a small bowl with high sides so the liquid couldn't be reached until most of the mussel shells were removed first. And the garlic bread? Not garlicky at all, and burnt and bitter, not grilled. The third app, the meatball trio, was quite good. At least the meatballs were. As for the marinara sauce, read on. My entree was Veal Parmigiana. Another disappointment. The veal was dry and overcooked. The spaghetti was fine. But the marinara? I have literally never had worse! No bright tangy tomato flavor, no detectable garlic, basil, or other herbs and spices. So bland. And something "off" about it, like they added cream or something? Just wow. I finished the veal, but barely touched the spaghetti and didn't bother to take any home. If I had liked it there wouldn't have been much to take home anyway. The portion was on the small side compared to parmigiana entrees elsewhere. How to finish off a mediocre meal? How about a mediocre chocolate tart? Rice-flour crust, with vanilla gelato, whipped cream, and sea salt chocolate ganache. Just as dull as can be. The ganache tasted sweet but not particularly chocolatey. The crust was just sweet and crumbly with no flavor of its own. I suppose the rice flour was so it could be gluten-free but it didn't work. The gelato was ok. And the espresso I got with it was very good, though very expensive at $7. I should know better than to eat at a golf club restaurant. But it's Dracut, and not much around, our friends live close by - and they seem to like it - so it probably won't be the last time. But I won't be repeating the mistakes of this visit. I'll try all different things next time. But they could be so much better if they only tried!

First off, the Lotus Rangoon--crispy, creamy, and made with actual crab. Not the "crab-ish flavored mystery filling". Real crab. Did you hear me ?? Real crab. And this amazing dipping sauce. The Vietnamese pork chop showed up perfectly seared, tender, and packed with flavor, served with fragrant jasmine rice and veggies. Delish!!! The wonton soup was incredible--tender dumplings, lots of veggies and noodles with a broth that felt like it could fix your entire life. Then came the chicken parm. When I say huge, I mean New England snowstorm eat for days huge. Crispy, perfectly cooked, sitting ontop of angel hair pasta with crusty bread on the side. The menu shows a variety of both Vietnamese and Italian appetizers and entrees, plus just enough options which overlap in interesting ways. The inside is beautiful, but still small. The main dining area has 6 tables which can accommodate around 20, and there's more seats in the bar area at bistro tables and at the bar itself. We opted for Vietnamese fare on this return visit. Some of the items, such as our summer rolls appetizer, remain traditional in preparation and presentation, while others, such as our entrees, are what I guess you'd call elevated. Overall, everything was fresh, well prepared, and came out quickly. Our appetizer, the summer rolls, came with a dipping sauce that was rich and thick and quite flavorful, making us work to get every drop of it. The sauce for our entrees was equally rich and thick (not nuoc cham), and it tasted good on everything. We ordered lemongrass chicken and lemongrass beef entrees. These came with perfectly steamed broccoli and carrots, and a choice of jasmine rice or jasmine rice pancakes. The pancake was actually the jasmine rice mixed with additional butter and chives, shaped into a pancake. The chicken was not grilled pieces, but rather tenderloins with skin on them, evidently fried, both crisp and juicy. We did not order anything from the Italian portion of the menu, but I did see several entrees at other tables. The portions are generous. It was interesting to see the mix of choices at other tables - one party had ordered both spaghetti and meatballs and pho. I liked everything about my dinner here, and I hope their venture is successful.
