Braised pork over rice with bok choy and egg.

Food was flavorful and service was fast. The food was pippin hot and the portions are generous. With plenty of on street parking and reasonable prices.

Super cute spot with delicious dumplings and noodles. We went on a holiday weekend and it was busy at lunch but we got a table easily. It was a Sunday so the street parking was free which was an added bonus. We ordered 4 types of dumplings and one mala noodle bowl for three people and it was way more than enough food with lots of leftovers. What we got was the mala hot pot noodles with beef, pork soup dumplings, and three sets of the regular dumplings: chicken and corn, beef and flat cabbage, and pork soup dumplings. All were a hit with the noodles and chicken and corn dumplings maybe getting the most top votes in a very close contest. The dumplings came fried except the soup dumplings. Not sure if you can order them unfried but we loved them despite usually being fans of steamed or boiled dumplings. They did them in a kind of unique way that wasn't too heavily fried and had sort of a decorative crisp that you probably have to see to understand, but it was excellent. This was a lot of food as the dumplings are a full meal serving. But leftovers are worth it! The only drawback is the place is a little noising for a small place. If eating in with someone hard of hearing maybe pick a quiet time or seek a quieter spot.

Very convenient to Tsongas before or after an event there. Best pork soup dumplings. Service is efficient. Nice outdoor patio (new) for seasonal dining.

Shocked at the high review scores for this joint. We drove 40 minutes for medicore and low flavor noodles. Service was strict. Street parking expensive. Noisy street with ambulances blaring every 5 minutes. Lots of seating, but they are strict. The best item was the pork and cabbage pot stickers. My partner is Chinese, and she was shocked at the quality. We got fried rice to take home, and did not check it... When we got home, the quality was horrid. Panda Express looked and tasted better. Not worth a trip for noodles.

My number one restaurant. I've come here so many times since the opening and it's a staple for soup dumplings and fried dumplings with the lace coat. It's super affordable and there's a great variety of options. These guys know how to make a dumpling. It's the best eats!!!!

Dumpling galore! We ordered takeout today -Shrimp Pork Chive Dumpling: tasty, flavorful but the filling looks smaller than it originally was and the price increased. -Chive Pocket: I think they changed how they make this. It had more flavor and was crispier before. I opened it in the car and it was already soft. Tasted completely different. -Beef Hot Pot: loved this! It hit the spot. Has beef slices, rice cake, tofu, bok choy, and noodles. Overall price went up but the quality went down quite a bit. 3 items came out to $45

A go to spot for a good comfort dumpling nearby. This place is usually always pretty quiet so it's easy to get a table and there's street parking. The restaurant is a little cold so if you're planning to come now during winter keep that in mind. They have a clean bathroom and not too many workers, the workers there are more quiet but they are nice and attentive. We almost always get the same order every time we go but this time we decided to add on the pork mini skewers. They were just meat on a toothpick so I wouldn't say it's worth it for $9 it was also a little dry. The hot n sour soup is decent, I wish it was a little thicker though. Never stray away from your usual cause it will not disappoint with the pork and napa potstickers. You can never go wrong with the crispy sides they are the best part. The xiaolongbaos are another must, I'm not always a fan but I love the soup on this one, it's a good combo of sweetness and warmth. My absolute favorite is the spicy mini hotpot, this is perfect to share with another person. Usually get the medium spice which is just a little sting but not too strong where it's overpowering. The noodle choice is perfect and everything works all together. Note the bokchoy comes in the half cut bunch (so one bundle is cut in half) rather than pieces and it has a lot of cabbage. I've tried some of the stir fry noodles and they weren't my favorite, nothing special and didn't add much to the meal. The prices of this place have definitely gone up in the years with the hotpot being $15 and dumplings being $13 and $14. The total for everything was $57 but with leftover pan fried dumplings it's always enjoyable. My sister and I love to come to this place together and would recommend with these orders!

Hands down the best dumplings both fried and traditional bao we've ever had. We always go here for them. Everyone in the restaurant order one or both kinds as well.

Pork and crab soup dumplings on top. And pork soup dumplings at the bottom. Super tasty for sure.

Tasty Dumplings continues to stay strong. I've tried so many different dumpling restaurants recently and Tasty Dumplings has so far been the best. They're consistently good. They hire great staff and are friendly. It's a great visit here every time we drop in. They have other items on their menu but these dumplings are the star of the show here.

    shrimp, pork, sticky rice dumplings.

What we got: Smoked Bacon and Dried Tofu Stir-Fry Deep-fried Oyster Mushroom Spicy Sir-Fried Shredded Potato Every one of these dishes was just perfect, and the menu has so much more to explore. One important note is that many of the authentic and different dishes available were on the in-house restaurant menu though I didn't see them online. Not sure if I missed something on the website, but I was very excited to see the menu they had in-house. We also enjoyed some equally authentic tea with our meal - the meal was good at every turn. The guy serving us - who I took to be the owner - was super helpful with suggestions and very friendly. Everything we had was cooked fresh, so not super fast, but definitely in reasonable time. The chef was amazing. If you are looking for a place with truly good authentic food that falls a bit outside the New England Chinese staples, I strongly recommend Oxyear. Black bean clams were ok, a little bland for me. Shumai they had a couple options. I definitely like the XL size ones. Steamed shrimp noodles were ok, not bad. Chicken feet were pretty good. Overall, for dimsum, it's good but not the best. Definitely better than most other spots.

Typically, you are quickly seated with the server checking in immediately and providing hot tea for the table. This is based on 3 recent visits, and weighted by the last visit which was a disappointment. The neon lights outside beckon you to come in. It's a brightly lit dining room with round tables typical a large Dim Sum restaurant in Boston. Perhaps a little too bright, but there is typically a table available. It offers late dining which is great. The food is certainly very good typically with good sized portions at a good value. The pan friend dumplings a large, tender and a great value. The Hunan and Sichuan dishes provide healthy portions. Definitely very good Chinese food for the area. It is typically served quickly and very hot. The service has been mixed. On a not so busy night, we felt ignored. It took a long time to get drinks (arriving with the food in one case) on one occasion.

For appetizer we got the crab rangoon and beef rolls which are both with a good sized portion although the crab rangoon was more heavy on the cream flavor. We got the large size of the hot n sour soup and the portion was a lot larger than expected for the price of $6. Think understatedly sweet pulled pork on a bun, only with duck and Chinese flavors. Looks small, but pricing is in the appetizer range, so I treat it as such. Good. -- Shredded Beef with Cayenne Pepper: Not your typical brown sauce glop, even though it might look that way. Lots of spices mixed in, and possibly tiny bits of garlic, along with a fermented, slightly salty quality. Longhorn pepper added mid-level spice. -- Spicy Lamb Dry Hot Pot: Plenty of spiciness and plenty of numbing action from the chili peppers, though no whole peppercorns I could feel. The lamb was both crisp and tender, with spices clinging. Texturally, the vegetables (broccoli, string beans, lotus root) and thin potato slices were all perfectly in the sweet spot between too firm and too wilting. Intense lamb flavor and sauce flavor. Elite. -- Fish Filet in Chili Oil Sauce: Tried this on a lunch combo after enjoying it several times as an entree and it's almost as big as the entree. Very soft, tender, unbreaded fish chunks in an oily, spicy sauce. Near-elite to elite. -- Fish Filet with Green Sichuan Pepper: A huge bowl with delicate white fish and a mostly clear broth that suggested lack of flavor, but looks can deceive; this was very spicy in a pickly, peppery, mouth-numbing way. The broth was too thin to make it suitable for rice, so best with bowl and spoon. -- Shredded Pork with Wood Ear in Hot & Sour Sauce: A new dish introduced in October 2025, this had very tender wormy-shaped pork shreds in a treatment that lived up to the name. Spicy for sure, and very tart as well, with pickled green chili peppers doing double duty. The black mushrooms were relegated mostly to textural enhancement. Clean flavors and no real sauce per se; a nice, unique dish. -- Ma Po Tofu: Pretty solid but pretty standard rendition, with a Boyardee color and consistency, but a spicy, peppery flavor. Soft tofu. Average or a tick above. -- Green Beans with Yacai: Perfectly cooked vegetables with plenty of crunch, just enough wilt, and every one of them well lubricated but not heavily sauced. I'm talking zero glop. Accented with yacai, another vegetable additive that lends some mysterious (actually fermented pickled mustard greens), addicting flavor along with salt. Not saucy, not spicy, but not the least bit lacking. Excellent. -- Sichuan Kung Pao Chicken: Tried on a whim to see how different it would be from standard. It's spicy chicken, with a bit of Sichuan peppercorn tingle, but not that spicy. Same peanuts, no celery. Slightly but not overbearingly sweet. Tender but not crisp. Nice little diversion, but prefer my Spicy Shredded Chicken (much spicier, no sweet) when in a chicken mood. -- Hot & Sour Yam Noodles: Thick, slippery glass noodles in a thick, dark brown condiment with a strong soybean flavor. A little too intense for me, like trying to down a Guinness. Whole soybeans on top. Service is solid, even with just a couple servers at most times.
