The place was smaller than I thought. Probably only around 10 tables/booths. But it definitely gets busy and the servers do their best to cater to all of them. We got both BBQ and hotpot to try. I absolutely loved the spicy hotpot broth. So flavorful and super spicy. They also came in individual intricate pots that get lit through that flammable jelly people use for aluminum tray warmers. I like that the tables all have the vacuum to suck up all of the smoke from the BBQ. The sauces they have are undeniably sweet, so I would pass on using them. To be honest, the hotpot outdid the BBQ. We ended up eating only the hotpot and completely stopped cooking the meat on the hotplate. If they had a bigger pot and used the hotplate as like a stove for it, I would totally eat hotpot here all the time. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. First of all there drink cups smelled like wet dog, when we asked for new set of cups they refused and told us the smell was from the covid cleaning rag. I had to grab bottle waters from my car just to drink water. We had 6 people in our group and asked for 2 sets of banchan the server refused to give us the 2nd set. Food was below average, all the meats were over marinated. Save your money and time! This is not authentic korean bbq. read more

The variety of banchan was excellent. I really enjoyed the potato salad, cucumber kimchi, chicken skin and gyoza. However, the marinade on the galbi and a few other items was a bit too sweet for my taste. What really brought down the experience, though, was the service. The staff forgot a few dishes, brought one that we did not order, and it took quite a while just to get the check. It felt like there wasn't much organization, and the servers seemed focused mainly on a larger table near the front, while smaller tables were overlooked. We went l before peak time but the service was already slow. The AYCE option is SO limited in the choices of meat especially for the price ($40). We went on a Tuesday but it seems as though they "ran out" of a lot of dishes already. Also, I had to dispute their transaction because they overcharged me. The tabletop "grill" is actually an electric (?) hot plate with a metal plate on top and a paper sheet on top of that, presumably to make it nonstick. This means that any meat placed on it is basically pan fried rather than grilled. At least the meat comes out juicy. Seafood pancake is soggy. read more

We were pretty excited to try this AYCE KBBQ place. It's fairly small with limited tables, but we were able to snag one for an early dinner. The AYCE menu is kind of like an opt in or opt out sort of thing--we chose to just opt out of chicken and have everything else, and then you can order more if you want to. Galbi is limited to one strip per person which was interesting--it was good quality and I'm not really a galbi person, but if you are, be aware it's very limited quantity. The kimchi jigae is also limited to one serving. The service was very slow, we had to wait maybe half an hour for the meat we ordered to come out. The banchan were incredibly salty, including the kimchi. Kimchi jigae was also very salty and did not taste authentic. The quality of the meats was pretty good, but the pork belly was very thin. I know that may be a preference thing but we really prefer fat thick slices of pork belly. The chadol was good, bulgogi was alright. I got a pineapple and coconut slush alcoholic drink which tasted like candy, it was okay. If we come back, we would probably only order galbi, pork belly, and chadol next time. I don't think this place is run by a Korean person. I'm glad it's available because of highly limited AYCE KBBQ selection here, but if even the banchan and/or speed of service were improved, it would be a huge plus! read more

Located at the 83 Parkhurst Rd plaza in Chelmsford (Drum Hill), Dae Gee, which is an "all you can eat" Korean BBQ restaurant serving lunch and dinner. This Colorado based restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives and this is their first MA location. There are 11 grill tables & booths (seats 1-6 diners) here, so reservations are suggested during busier times. In March 2025, the AYCE adult pricing was $29.99 pp for lunch and $39.99 pp for dinner (3pm to close), minimum of 2 paying customers. The staff will bring out meats, veggies, rice, dumplings, condiments, sauces, and other ingredients for you to cook for yourself on the hot table grill. They also offer an a la carte menu with appetizers, soups, bibimbap bowls, and KBBQ plates. I stopped by Dae Gee for an early dinner recently. I was promptly seated and it wasn't their peak time, but the place was moderately busy. I did not do AYCE and instead order the Dolsot Bibimbap ($19 plus tax) with sogogi bulgogi (ribeye). A bottle of water with plastic cup was brought out, then a variety of small side dishes to go with my meal. The dolsot bibimbap arrived very hot in a stone bowl filled with plenty of ingredients including rice, spinach kimchi, seaweed, sprouts, cabbage, egg, and pieces of soft bulgogi. I added most of the small sides to the sizzling hot bowl and some bibimbap sauce and spicy pig out sauce too. The rice on the bottom of the hot bowl was nice and crispy. I finished the entire bowl, which was more than enough food. The check with Toast QR code was presented which was $20.33 with tax and before tip. Overall, I had a great meal here, just enough food for a filling and tasty dinner. The service was laid back with minimal interaction. However, the 2 person minimum for AYCE Korean BBQ seems unusual (probably due to limited space and costs) since other Korean BBQ (plus hot pot) in the area and chains like Hungry Pot and KPot with more hot tables offer their AYCE to any party size. read more

Our party of two came at lunchtime for the AYCE Korean BBQ. It was our first time here. The single server was extremely attentive, maybe even too attentive, if that's possible haha, but we were the only people there so I understand. We got the brisket (standard plain meat), ribeye beef (really good, tender, good marinade), dumplings (ok) , chicken wings (soy garlic was so good), chicken skin (not our fav) and fried shrimp (can't go wrong here). Soon as you walk the floor slippery. The service was not organized. First time seeing paper on a grill. When the paper burn it stick to the food. The vegetables are old and small portions. Banchan is also very small portions. The meat looks very old. The food and service does not justify the price, especially when they charge 20% extra for large groups. Meh! The food is overpriced for what you get. They do give you a nice variety of dishes and it's nice that the meat isn't frozen but the meat itself isn't that flavorful. The place is not family friendly if you have children under 3. Beware there is only 1 bathroom and no changing table. I had to change my son in the back of my car and then returned back to the table after. The service is awful and slow. We had to ask 3 people 3 times before we got water, we were halfway through our meal at that time and even then they only brought water for the kids. read more

We were really disappointed in the whole experience. We had five adults and three kids. We were charged $40/pp, including for a 6yr old and 8 year old, and that's not worth what you get. We ordered pork belly and got three strips for four people! Very small portions of chicken thighs and pork, which were only enough for one person each. The service was excruciatingly slow, especially when we had young kids with us and it seemed to take forever to get menus and water, even getting the bill took 15 minutes, at least. The staff were all pleasant, but very, very laid back. They would disappear into a back room and reappear sporadically. We only ordered one round so we didn't take full advantage of the AYCE, but we were afraid if we did, we'd be there all night after arriving at about 12:30 PM. The ambience is just ok. Bottom line, we don't plan to go back. It's too bad because we could really use a good Korean Barbecue place in the area. read more

Decided to try this place out after couple of months after they opened so I could give it a fair shot. I just feel like when any restaurants first open, they need time to make adjustments. Anyway, I enjoyed my time there. Food was good, imo. The service was quick, but there were only 2 other groups in the restaurant with us. Ambiance was nice.
