I read the reviews on this place, which didn't seem bad, so I decided to go with this on the whim and man O man am I disappointed. Ok let me see, I will start with the good parts of what I did like. 1. Egg foo young (vegetable).... This was probably the best part of the meal along with the gravy (although slightly thick). 2. Crispy chicken wings, I got these for my boyfriend because he loves chicken wings, it comes with 5 wings in the order, when I noticed that he only ate 2 out of the 5 I knew there was a problem because he loves wings and barely have any complaints. When I asked him what was wrong he said no flavor just wings fried. 3. Hot and sour soup, well the good part about the soup was it had a bunch of items in the broth and not just all broth, which is a plus, the only down side is the soup was way to sweet and I didn't taste any spice at all. 4. Chicken fried rice, I was happy when I noticed it was brown, the last few places I went to the fried rice was white or beige so I thought I was on to something here, unfortunately the chicken in the rice was NOT chicken, first it was a weird texture and I never seen chicken in a long string shaped either. If I had to guess I would say that it was tofu, but i know better than to even confuse it as tofu as I am a huge tofu person. 5. I ordered shrimp fried rice along with several other dishes for a family gathering. About 1-2 hours after the meal, I started experiencing abdominal pain. That night, my entire body wouldn't stop shivering. This is now my third day since that meal, and I've been suffering from high fever, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. I called the restaurant to report the issue, but the lady I spoke with dismissed my concerns, saying, 'We sold a lot of food, and you're the only one complaining. It's your problem.' This is the first time I've ever experienced what I believe to be food poisoning after eating restaurant foods. I am very disappointed with both their food and customer service. On Feb 4th i ordered a platter,lobstet sauce wo5h shrimp it was awful. I called the restaurant back and told them and the owner said she made it fresh. I know fresh food. She was rude told her to keep the money she said ok. Wasnt looking for my money back ,but ad a owner the customet is right and i swear that food was not fresh. They lost a good customer and they dont care. No customer service there. I wont recommend. Ever going there. No sorry telping me because it took an hr to get there it didnt take an hr ,then she said maybe you micorowave it to much i didnt. Very dissapointed customer. I really hate to do this. I had very high hopes for this restaurant given the awesome reviews. I ordered the beef teriyaki & my husband ordered the chicken & broccoli. The pork fried rice is made with frozen veggies. When I ordered the beef teriyaki I was expecting teriyaki beef on a stick. Instead I got beef chunks cut up with mixed veggies & sesame seeds. My husband said his chicken & broccoli was okay. It wasn't great but it was edible because he was starving. I did appreciate the Covid precautions they do have in place though. read more

Hao, you didn't read what I wrote. I was downstairs, in the lobby, watching for the delivery driver. The phone was upstairs. There was no way I could answer the phone. He had my name. Had he gotten out of his vehicle in an attempt to use the buzzer, I would have seen him and opened the door and asked if he was for me. It's not a hard concept. If you go to a house, ring the doorbell. In my building, the buzzer goes by name, not apartment number. And even if It went by the apartment number, due to the online glitch, there was no place to put it. I don't understand why he would need to call me anyway. Delivery drivers worked for years without calling people beforehand. Had he got out of the car, like a reasonable person, I would have had my dinner and I would still a customer. But if he made the effort to come to my building and sit in his car, he isn't the brightest bulb in the package. And your defending him doesn't make me happy either. Confirms that I made the right choice to no longer be a customer. read more

First time here. Delivery (they do their own for $4). Food was very good, fresh, crispy vegetables which is hard to do with takeout. People there are gracious, gave us a free order of crab Rangoon. Boneless spare ribs appetizer was a huge portion (we had already eaten some when I took the picture.) House fried noodles were great. Lots of different meats and vegetables. Beef and pea pods was also excellent. Overall this is more a Cantonese style place, although the spicy wings were great. Our meal arrived much earlier than expected. Driver was very courteous. The only downside were the eggrolls and spring rolls, both had the same filling and had too much black pepper for us, but we don't like black pepper. We will be going back. read more

I would compare it to a decent place that you find in the mall cafe. Don't know if I would go back but haven't found a great Chinese food place around this area yet. read more

This place is relatively new in Wilmington -- tried it when it first opened and thought it was just alright (but not bad). I've recently decided to give it another try again and it was awesome! I got it a few weeks ago and it was delicious and then I got it again for a party of 15 so I got a good amount of food and every single thing was yummy! We got beef teryaki, peking ravioli, crab rangoon, beef & broc (so good), shrimp & garlic sauce, general gau chicken, lo mein, fried rice. No complaints about any of it. First time eating at Lin Garden since they opened. I had the Hunan Beef with a side of steamed white rice and an order of chicken wings. The Hunan beef was very good, broccoli was done right with a slight snap of freshness. Mushrooms and peppers were also done right. The beef was tender. Chicken wings were plump, juicy and had a nice flavor too them. Definitely recommended. read more

Tried this week for the first time after getting a recommendation from our neighbor. They had a great system for picking up the food without coming in contact with the workers.
