Excellent flavors all around. The waitress we had was just not helpful or pleasant. Other waitstaff seemed pleasant and I'm thinking this was just an off day for them. They were pumping out orders for pick up. They offer sushi but we did not order.

Your small town local Asian spot which does Japanese, Thai, and Chinese food. The menu is huge - so many items to choose from. I had an assortment of sashimi and sushi - it was of decent quality! Also tried a few appetizers such as edamame, crab rangoons, and a cucumber crab roll. I definitely ate way too much, lol. Interior is cute - super crowded with families (including screaming children lol) on a Tuesday night. Staff is polite but had a hard time hearing us haha.

We are on the way to ME and our daughter felt like Chinese for lunch. Lunch plates every day. Comes with choice of soup, appetizer, rice and main dish. Many large comfortable booths. Food had authentic Chinese flavors. Enjoyed our lunch.

Decent Chinese place that caters more to the American taste. There's a lot of fusion with Thai, and Japanese food. Overall not bad considering it's in a very white suburb, but not as authentic as I was hoping for. The la spicy chicken appetizer is not "La Zi Ji", it's deep fried chicken nuggets on a bed of vegetables that's still good but has a very mild spice and is dipped in a sweet and sour sauce. I liked the dish, but not what I was expecting, maybe this was a Thai dish? The Mongolian beef was very tender and the onions were well cooked, but it was too salty in my opinion. Otherwise would've been delicious. The peppercorn fish filet soup was very tender but it was lacking a little in the spice and flavor department. The garlic eggplant was cooked well and had good texture, but I felt it was very under seasoned. Overall, the dishes were cooked well and had good textures, but the flavors were off. They were either over or under salted to my liking. I would probably give this place a 3.5 stars because there's no dish I'd come back for, but there aren't many good Chinese restaurants in the area so I'd be willing to try again. Service is so so, parking was street and pretty easy. Restaurant was packed on a weekend night though so I'm glad we made a reservation!

Picked up to go here! Website said the food would be ready around 25 minutes and it was ready after 10-15 minutes which was quick! Cashier working up at the front was super friendly. Sushi rolls I got were really good! I don't know what the ambiance is like from a dine in perspective but pick up and taking a peek of the surroundings everything looked clean and put together.

What a fantastic Chinese Restaurant! Well staffed - friendly service, delicious food, big portions, and very affordably priced! I almost feel like they should raise their prices slightly. Super friendly. Everyone. Really great experience. Let the photos be my review. Yummy. I will be back when I'm in Boston again!

Was looking for a Thai restaurant. This place came up. What a great stumble. It's More Chinese than Thai. However, I can tell this is locals favorite.

    * Great service, great ambiance, food can be improved * Peppercorn house offers a variety of Asian cuisine from Maki rolls to Sushi to a myriad Entrees. They offer a lot of drinks too. I found the service was amazing - they take care of your order details and are very quick. There is ample of classy and comfortable seating at this place. I loved to get drunk and had a great time. However, the food taste was not top notch - which I felt disappointing about. Their maki rolls and sushi are great, no complaints. However, the orange chicken felt dry and lacked flavor. Basil fried rice was dry as well. Although we liked the fish filet, it had some scope for improvement too. Overall, I had a memorable time here and still love the restaurant. I hope they improve the taste of the food

The ribs were very tender and the broth was full of flavor. -Pad Thai - again, can't go wrong. -Wonton Soup - some of the best I've had. The broth was deliciously savory and so much tastier than the bland versions you get from most Chinese places. -Pad See Ew - also fantastic. -Rad Nah - appreciated that they packed the noodles separately so I could assemble the dish fresh. No soggy noodles. -Ka Prow Crispy Pork - by the time I got it home, it wasn't very crispy anymore but it didn't matter because the flavor was fantastic. -Crispy Chicken Basil - same thing, not too crispy but still delicious. Restaurant decor looks comfortable and there are a decent amount of tables inside. I haven't made the effort to eat onsite yet, but looking forward to doing that at some point because I definitely want to try their whole fish. It looks amazing! May 15, 2026 I'm…read morewriting this a week retrospectively from my experience, since I've been through a few things medically in the last week and needed time to think about our family's experience at Karma-Burlington. First - our server, Kendra A. Was really good and kind. She worked hard for the 7 of us and my few criticisms don't reflect on her at all. First - let me say that Karma/Burlington is not set up properly for large parties. Our table was located right next to the kitchen door. It is neither a gracious nor a comfortable place to have a large dinner together. Secondly, the table was both too narrow and not long enough to accommodate people and large plates of food. In other words, it was cramped and because of that, not nearly as welcoming as it could have been. Third - the music in the restaurant is obnoxious. It was always on the edge of being too loud and it's directed at a younger crowd .... People who either don't care about assaults on their hearing or who don't care about being able to have meaningful conversations at moderate levels. Now... let's talk about the food. Generally, it was really good, though their Pu-Pu platter for two sucks for the price ($37.00 each). There were no egg-rolls on it, only two fried shrimp, a stack of boneless Chinese rib pieces, and some chicken fingers - which were overly breaded and not worth eating. I also counted four crabs Rangoon pieces on each platter. Not exactly a generous offering!! I'd definitely skip this appetizer next time. Now - we chose, as a family, to eat communally - passing plates around and sharing everything. I've attached the photo of the receipt, so that you can see what we ordered. Three plates stood out as exceptional: the Coffee-braised short ribs were really delicious. Fattening, but amazing. The second was the Beef with mixed vegetables - one of my perennial favorites at Karma. The third was the Mongolian Beef, which was tender, savory, and delicious. The Stir-fried Yee Mein was not memorable and I'd not order it again. My eldest daughter ordered the Philly Maki and the Cucumber and Avocado Maki. Both were good but very much not exceptional. A number of us ordered the Hot & Sour soup and it was very good - as it usually is. The soup was served piping hot and quickly, which made it a small delight. The service we received was good across the board and the restaurant cannot be faulted for how busy they were.... Which I have to say did not at all impact the quality of our meal. If you want to go to Karma-Burlington as a group, tell the manager that you do not want the table where we were! Other than my specific concerns, it was a very good experience and I'm happy we went.

I enjoyed the coating on the calamari and it was not spicy at all, there were a bunch of peppers at the bottom. We also got the bbq pork, crispy ginger duck, and the stir fry beef.
