The parking is located conveniently behind the building. The food is where it really shines. We tried a mix of dishes, and everything came out beautifully presented. The Pad Thai had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming, and the Drunken Noodles were packed with flavor. The Massaman Curry was rich and comforting, probably my favorite. The Thai Iced Tea was fun with a popsicle dunked in it! The service was friendly and pretty quick, even though the place was busy. This restaurant is super casual and fun with great Thai food. We came for dinner and they've got dim lighting and a pretty wall mural. The service was not great. There were 3 different people coming to our table and didn't introduce themselves so we had no idea who our server was. When we asked if we could order the lady that served our drinks told us we had to wait for someone else. We waited a pretty long time until someone came to take our order, and even a longer time to receive our food. The calamari and scallion pancake was delicious, super crispy and fresh. I enjoyed the coating on the calamari and it was not spicy at all, there were a bunch of peppers at the bottom. We also got the bbq pork, crispy ginger duck, and the stir fry beef. The bbq pork was pretty bland. The ginger duck had GREAT flavor but it was not crispy at all. It comes with a bunch of sauce on top and it made it kinda soggy. It's a greta place for family and friends to have a good meal. I find their dishes a bit on the fusion side. They are very creative in their blend of flavor and presentation. Every dish is carefully curated to have a balance of flavor (with and without the sauce) plus great texture. Our kids loved the Crazy Roll and Scallion Pancake. I especially enjoyed my Seafood MeeSua. I like the spicy flavor with the seafood. The new Sua was cooked just right -not mushy not hard. This is one of the best restaurants in Lexington center in my opinion. It is always busy at night so it's helpful to have a reservation. Great to go with friends, coworkers, family, and for any occasion. Their food is great either to eat individually or to share. They have a lot of options for appetizers to share and I really enjoy the chicken satay. For my main I got drunken noodles and my friend got Massaman curry which was great. The Thai tea came with an ice pop this time and it was nice and refreshing on a warm day. It's really cute inside and has nice ambient lighting. My party decided to make an impromptu stop at Love at First Bite on a snowy night after spending all day on the ski slopes. We came around 8pm and were seated immediately. I was impressed with the restaurant's interior, which is well-decorated with what appears to be high-end furniture and impeccably clean. It had perfectly cozy vibes for a winter evening. After looking through the expansive menu, our group decided to order family style with each of us receiving a Thai tea and then splitting the crispy chive cakes, the Massaman curry, bbq pork with sticky rice, salt and pepper haddock with fried seafood, and pad see ew with duck as the protein. Overall, the food came out very quickly and hot and I thought all of the dishes were very tasty and well-presented. The Thai tea came out in a large glass and a Thai tea popsicle on top - perfect for cute pictures and I imagine that the popsicle would be a refreshing treat to take home in the warmer weather. Food-wise, I was a huge fan of the crispy chive cakes which were crunchy and firm on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside - the accompanying sauce was superb. I also was very fond of the curry, although I am a Thai curry fiend so this was not surprising. The chicken thighs were well cooked and the curry itself was well-seasoned without being overpowering. Several of the dishes came with Jasmine berry rice which was a first for me but also very tasty with a slight sweetness. Hear me out -- sometimes the best Thai food isn't in the heart of Boston, but hidden away in Lexington! This place is an absolute gem. Everything we tried was incredibly flavorful and authentic, clearly made with love and care by an all-Thai team. LOVE the food! Now I know why the line is so long to get in! The interior isn't all that spectacular but the food makes up for it! I say at the bar and the bartender was friendly and attentive (once we got his attention but the restaurant was crowded). We shared the dumplings (delicious) but the STAND OUT was the duck pad Thai. I've only been there once, so it is a limited perspective. It's a good location, lunch service was good, the food was satisfying, quality seemed pretty good, but the food was not mind blowing. I got the Butterfly Dumplings which had a full dose of ginger goodness, but after a couple, seemed repetitive. I tried the Tom Kha kai soup, which was loaded with chicken, but a bit disappointing in comparison to some others, including my own when I make it, as chicken was all that was in it, so it felt one dimensional. I learned from a place in Newport, how good a slate of different vegetables can really create a rich soup experience, right down to a couple fresh add ins like a cherry tomato and pepper slice. So I'm jaded by that experience and miss that sort of Tom Kha Kai. But it is a place I would think to try again if in the neighborhood, and give it another chance to grab me as the quality seemed good. read more

We love Thai food, and we decided to try Love at First Bite last night. We visited the restaurant on a Tuesday around 7:00pm. The restaurant was full. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and company. We were asked to wait 20 minutes. We had no problem waiting as we took the opportunity to walk around the charming neighborhood. On our walk someone from the restaurant called us to let us know our table was ready. To start we ordered an Iced Thai Tea and an Iced Thai Coffee. Both were very good but what brought my attention was their presentation. Different from other restaurants the drinks came with a frozen popsicle in it. Very original! We then ordered the veggie spring rolls, a Tom Kha Kai soup, a Chicken Mango Curry, an Indonesian Fried Rice and a Tofu Pad Thai. We enjoyed the spring rolls. We liked the broth and the veggies from the Tom Kha soup but we didn't like too much the chicken. However, we did like the Chicken in the Mango Curry. I loved the Indonesian Fried Rice which was a little spicy. My daughter loved her pad Thai however she didn't like the tofu too much. Portions were big. We had two to go boxes. The waiter was a bit snippy and told us we needed to quickly decide how many people are eating there not realizing the crowd behind us was most our group. He got us two larger tables with a half circle seat which allowed us to fit 14 people. The food came pretty quickly. Decent tasting food as well. The drunken noodle was pretty good. Would stop by again if we were in the area again, but better hospitality is to be desired. They automatically added 20% for 12 girls and 2 adults. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I fell in love with its warm decor. I adore the lighting fixtures and the colorfully decorated walls which make the space feel both intimate and inviting. The restaurant isn't big and the seating against the back wall is tight enough that you can easily hear your neighbors' conversations. But with this warm ambiance, you adjust quickly and might even find it endearing. I ordered the Seafood Mee Sau Pad Cha which I had never had before and boy, am I glad to have taken a chance on a new dish! It is packed with a hearty portion of seafood: squid, white fish and scallops, all nicely fried in a light batter. The dish is exploding with flavors, and gives a healthy dose of spiciness. Also, this is the first time I had tasted green (young) pepper corn - it is very different from its older version that we're all too familiar with. I love when a noodle dish is well balanced in its proportion of noodles to protein. This dish nailed it - it doesn't leave you with a massive bowl of bland noodles that you don't know what to do with when the few pieces of meat and veggies are gone. Lastly, I have to point out their very unique Thai iced tea which comes with a popsicle of tea!
