Massaman curry chx

I ordered the chicken with massaman curry. To go. I asked and was told it was gluten free. I told them that I'm fine w corn starch. The menu description says potatoes, peanuts, and carrots. Topped with fried red onions and serve with white rice. I also asked to skip the rice and serve the dish over broccoli and I would pay extra, since I can't have rice. I was assured that none of that was a problem. It cost a little under $19. I received something like a soup, honestly, it was a soup. It wasn't a sauce. I feel that the potatoes were boiled, cut in 1/4's and they were thrown in the soup along with the carrots. No peanuts -even though I told her I could have those when she asked -no fried onions and 5 small pieces of broccoli swimming in the soup. Chicken was razor thin, chewy and had no taste. Overall, a very negative experience I will not go there again

One of my favorite food is curry so I had to get a curry dish here. I got the massaman curry which I absolutely loved. I was afraid it might be too spicy but it was just right. The taste and portion are 10/10. I also love pork belly so I got the salted pork belly which has great texture and taste.

This place is incredible. You get a massive bowl of Pho for only $22.95. Comes with all sorts of meats including a giant Rib. Come hungry as this dish is as big as it is delicious!

Very calm environment and great food. Took my here for Valentine's Day and we lived it!

I was not sure how authentic pho would be at a place that advertises as a pho and Thai restaurant but It was great. My family was sick and wanted chicken pho to go. I usually dont like takeout pho but it the broth stayed piping hot for the ride home. They had vietnamese chicken salad "Goi". It was very balanced with dressing, peanuts, and basil. Not drenched in dressing but not dry. I recently ordered this at a lowell Vietnamese restaurant and it was extremely sour. I didn't eat in but the inside of the restaurant looked clean and well decorated. They had stacks of Cafe Dumond tins out in the open so I'm guessing they sell Vietnamese iced coffee which I'll order next time. It should be good as long as they use condensed milk. Great experience. Thank you staff!

Came to 29 Bistro Pho X Thai, The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, I love vermicelli grilled pork, crispy belly pork and coconut with matcha juice while the Thai dishes are full of authentic taste with just the right spice. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy yet modern--perfect for both dine-in and takeout. A wonderful spot if you're craving both Vietnamese and Thai flavors in one place!

Fantastic portions, This one had everything from tendon to meatballs. BUT if it had tripe it would be a 11/10. I would definitely give a try.

Delicious pho! First time here and the service was great, very clean, and the food was also really fresh. We enjoyed the fresh roll appetizer, lunch combo with pho + side salad. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Beef skewers, crispy pork belly.

This place is amazing and you should go here. Went with my friend and we ordered the beef sticks, crispy pork belly, and I got the wonton noodle soup. All of it was incredible and the servers were very sweet. I also got the mango sticky rice to go. My friend got a spicy basil beef dish and loved it. I was driving down from NH and will be going out of my way to go here again soon.

I like the food a lot, especially the different pho they have. Seafood tum yum pho #1!!

Basil fried rice

Still absolutely love this place! My go to favorite for Boba Tea, Pad See-Ew and there FABULOUS BLUEBERRY CRAB RANGOONS! The staff is still Amazing! And the take-out is always handled with care, hot & ready. We love this place and will continue to come back !

Definitely visit! Food was probably one of the best Vietnamese I've had in the Boston-ish area. Portions are massive for the price, service was great. The place is really pretty and nicely decorated.

This is his favorite order!

Looking for food in VT at 8:30pm on a Friday night in April shouldn't be difficult. But alas,…read moretonight it was very difficult. Saw this little gem on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was 9pm and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were courteous and attentive and our waitress was very sweet. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and it was delicious. The sesame chicken was beautifully plated, complete with an edible orchid. The kung pao chicken and pepper steak came as you would expect so my husband and I teased the waitress about why we didn't get special plates with edible flowers. She was cute. The food was delicious and the portions just the right size. My husband asked for his king pao extra spicy and it definitely was not- but it's ok cause then we didn't mind sharing with him. I had the pepper steak and it was tender and flavorful. Everything was really good. If we lived nearby, we'd make it our go-to Panasian spot!

Really fun Asian-Latin fusion restaurant and a new addition to the South End!…read more A few friends and I went the other day on Sunday night to celebrate an early birthday and being half done with our third year of medical school! I usually don't like to splurge on fancy meals (big fan of under $25 meals) but tonight was a treat. Ambiance is romantic and dark - maybe a bit too dark? I couldn't really see the menu Starters were solid - crispy rice and bao were fine but I was most impressed by yuca fries and miso eggplant. I love all things miso and eggplant, and the yuca fries were fried in such a unique way that they were fluffy inside. Never had that experience in any Latin restaurant that served fried yuca before - very cool. Skirt steak was amazing and the chimichurri was addicting. Tacos were both alright too! Drinks were fun and strong, and the tres leches cake to end off the night was perfectly moist. Carajillo shots were awesome - a delicious Latin take on espresso martinis. They have DJ sets on Friday and Saturday nights and their listening room downstairs can get pretty packed. Would love to go back; it is gorgeous down there, and the bartender was so sweet and helpful.

One Thai (eggplant) and one from Shaanxi China region (Biang Biang). I ordered the Biang Biang extra spicy but I'm guessing they didn't believe me. It was tasty but regular spice level. It's clear that there were actual Szechuan peppers in it - characteristic tingle effect. Which is nice to see now that the US has decided they're not poison after all. The braised eggplant with Thai basil (hence known as basil eggplant in most Thai restaurants) was creamy in texture and rich in flavor. The meal started with hot and sour soup, which was surprising. The cup was quite large and the soup was absolutely packed with ingredients. Tofu, wood ear mushrooms, lily buds and more. Super satisfying, although I ordered a side of black vinegar to get it a bit more sour. The prices were super reasonable for normal portions but the portions weren't normal - they were HUGE. Half the noodles went home with me as well as half the braised eggplant. Hard to see how they support such huge portions without correspondingly huge prices.
