Crepe

Came here on a Friday evening and the space was relatively quiet and not super full - people were mostly eating outside, but we opted for a table inside, leaving us pretty alone for a majority of the meal. The server we had was quite friendly and patient. She took our orders smoothly and our waters were never empty thanks to the hostesses - really nice service overall! The food itself was not too bad as the portions were pretty generous and the price was decent as well. The taste was honestly more on the okay side, but given everything else, I found the meal to be quite pleasant. The pho was savory and pretty delicious while the spring rolls had plenty of shrimp and filling overall. The crepe was huge and tasted pretty good while the rice noodle plate left me quite full - I couldn't finish it all unfortunately! I would definitely come back as Gigi's gave us a pretty good dinner experience. For decent Vietnamese food and great service, this place didn't disappoint!

It's been a while since we've been back and I am so glad that we did because the food is still amazing. We ordered the combination pho, coconut shrimp and pork chop plate- everything ( and I mean everything) was juicy, nicely plated and overall just delicious! This is what we needed after a long week and I just wasn't in the mood to cook. Brought my son here, as he is a foodie like myself, and he loves Gigi's!!! The host and waiter provided amazing service and the food arrived promptly and with no need for me to ask for additional plates as the waiter was on top of his game during our dine- in experience. The ambiance was intimate and sweet, and my little one even enjoyed the calmness of the restaurant. We love Gigi's and will be back very soon

I decided to try here because of rave reviews and I was super excited that I was able to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant/food closer to where I live. Unfortunately it didn't really meet my expectations... Fresh rolls: the skin/wrap was already ripped when I received my order, but it wasn't too bad, I would rate 3/5 Crispy rolls: pretty good, 4/5 Vietnamese crepe: this was my favorite dish out of my whole order, the flavor was there! 5/5 Beef banh mi: this was a huge disappointment, there was not enough pickled veggies, as you can see in the photo, there was none visible, it was more like 5 strands of veggies...1/5 Beef fried rice: it was ok, the rice was a bit undercooked, 3/5 Pho appetizer: I wish they gave more soup with the amount of noodles they give, I'm not sure if dining in vs takeout would be the same amount of soup but definitely not enough soup, the noodles soaked it all in! 3/5 Overall, it wasn't what I expected but I wouldn't mind ordering again when I'm really in the mood for viet food and it's closely!

Last night was my first visit with a date and another couple. The musicians were knock-it-out-of-the-park performers who played spot-on love songs. We sampled many dishes and loved the Avocado Spring Rolls and the Basil Fried Rice. Our waitress served us flawlessly. I'm going back.

Chicken and shrimp vermicelli

I love this place! Excellent food. We shared an entree of the ribs to start, then each got a vermicelli bowl. I got one with chicken, shrimp and spring rolls. It came with tons of veggies which I LOVE (my dad, not so much) and a yummy broth to pour over. The ribs were so meaty and flavorful. really generous portions too! A Maynard gem for sure. They were short staffed and talked really really loudly behind the bar for some reason, but the food was so good that it still deserves 5 stars.

It's clear they put thought and car into them, and they are worth the sips. It is on the pricier side, however the quality meets this price, for sure. Highlights include the green curry and mushroom rolls. We were both left stuffed!

We had great service from our waitress, and even met the very pleasant owner/hostess who told us a bit more about the restaurant, menu and live music options. We did not get a chance to see the upstairs dining room, but the main floor was very nice, warm and cozy. The menu leans Thai, but I would say the is really Pan Asian. Food was served promptly, hot and delicious. I really enjoyed the Thai lettuce wraps, fresh, clean and delicious. The plate was served with just the right amount of chicken to lettuce ratio. It seems some restaurants struggle getting the ratio right, forcing you to ask for more lettuce, crackers, etc... Not here. We also enjoyed the Golden Bags small plate, which were crispy and delicious. Red Curry main entree was quite good. Heavy on vegetables with a thick red coconut curry. We saved room for dessert, and chose the Chocolate Roti. Perhaps a little bit of a misnomer, as it was two tasty roti filled with Nutella, and served with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Sort of like an ice cream sundae. While the menu is quite clear about it, I envisioned something more chocolatey. All good! Cocktails were also creative and delicious. We will definitely return and work our way deeper into the menu.

Unfortunately, I am a die-hard ramen aficionado and former New Yorker of over 10 years-- so I can be quite a tough critic. Points for the lovely atmosphere and cultural aesthetic... though the restaurant closes early on weekdays and I was informed of such the minute I entered the door prior to receiving a proper greeting. I had no other option but to order takeout and I would have appreciated being offered a seat, glass of water or beverage while waiting. The waitress stood next to me while I perused the menu so I definitely felt rushed to order and she was very brief in her responses regarding the most popular/tasty ramen options on account of wanting to begin closing perhaps? Overall, reception wasn't overwhelmingly warm... if it wasn't after 8 PM, I likely would have gone elsewhere simply off of the initial vibrations. Nonetheless, $40 later (OBA ramen, cucumber salad, ginger tea and I tipped $5... when I really shouldn't have)-- I dive in upon arriving to hotel to a very AVERAGE experience. The tea is not freshly brewed in-house with ginger, lemon etc... had I known I was going to receive a tea bag and hot water, I would have passed on spending the $4.50 (as the hotel has artisan teas). Cucumber salad is lacking spice, flavor profile and brine... just large, chopped chunks with a vinegar + chile concoction that lacks heat, reminds me of tajin (very salt forward) and was not marinated. It's a quick cucumber salad-- because it was prepared in this manner, the result is extremely watery because the flavor elements didn't absorb into the cucumber. I like cucumber salads almost like a kimchi... made with passion and spicy on the palette. As far as the ramen.... Nothing noteworthy. Cabbage, bamboo, corn were just naked toppings and placed on the ramen comparable to a salad bar. I like my elements flavorful and braised/sautéed. These were completely PLAIN toppings. Bamboo and shredded cabbage were likely canned/bagged respectively. Completely devoid of seasoning and umami. Tamago was cooked relatively properly but the rim was approaching hardboiled (yellowed rim with the jammy yellow center= slightly overdone). Chashu was actually lovely on the flavor scale but over-cooked as well and sliced in uniform disks, which seems as if it was pre-prepped versus made to order. Pork belly should be rich, smoky and more dense... Broth was short on miso presence but definitely edible. My favorite aspect of the whole meal was the chili oil (that I requested upon leaving... it was not provided to me without prompting even though I ordered my food at the spiciest level/5). It really elevated the flavor of the broth and I was happy that it was able to salvage the meal! Perhaps homemade? Perhaps this is an authentic ramen establishment by New Hampshire standards but it's a hard pass for me. Also, the to-go bowls should be larger to house the broth provided and to mix with ease. Bowls are too shallow so you have to pour broth, eat a bit, then add the remaining broth otherwise it will spill everywhere when you attempt to mix the ramen components. Additionally, a customer should always be asked if they would like utensils... I had to ask on my way out after checking my order for accuracy. Fair attempt but a far cry from stellar-- perhaps on account of not dining in? I just didn't taste the love and the authenticity. I've had many ramen experiences outside of metropolitan cities (and Japan) where you can still taste the craftsmanship and love in preparing all the elements. Sadly, OBA missed the mark on the flavor and execution train for me!

The focus here is ramen, with a small lineup of appetizers and a surprisingly good selection of sakes by the glass or bottle (not just the little cans you see elsewhere). We started with the salted potatoes and then moved on to ramens, which was rich, comforting, and exactly what you want on a cold night. And a BIG portion. They can prepare many items gluten free, and if you're unsure about your spice tolerance, you can get the chili oil on the side, which is a nice touch. Overall, a very nice meal and I'd definitely recommend it.

This was what ramen was made for. I walked in feeling (and looking) like Jack Frost. Only the brave were venturing about, so the restaurant was minimally packed and we were seated immediately. Szechuan cauliflower? Yes please. I would come back here for that cauliflower alone and order three servings of it. It was perfectly crispy and smothered in spicy sauce. The miso ramen broth was flavorful and spicy. Just what I was looking for. They used brown rice noodles which had a consistency that I would describe as slightly clumpy and with a different taste than traditional noodles. The rest of the toppings were as expected. The interior was very well decorated and felt upscale. It was a nice experience dining here.
