Not sure why I haven't written a review of Pho Dakao until now as I've been here many times and have never had a bad meal! Last nights meal was exceptional. Apps: crab rangoon, crispy rolls, and fresh summer rolls. Rangoons and rolls came out piping hot. The crab rangoons and summer rolls are my favorites here. Main meals: Mongolian beef, yellow curry with chicken and veggies, and pineapple rice. Omgosh these were so good. Each with so much flavor. Have some of the pineapple rice first to really get the flavor. The beef and chicken were so tender and just melted in my mouth. Anytime I'm in Framingham you will find me here!

Their house chicken which had no flavor and was just flavorless but claims to have Vietnamese seasoning. Yeah don't get this appetizer

Food was ehh and service was slow probably cuz no one wants to work now so understandable. But I'm shocked Framingham should have more Asian food

I ordered raw beef for my pho and it was pretty over cooked when it arrived in the bowl. I felt like they put more broth than necessary for the amount of noodles and meat. It did have really good flavor. The service was also really good and the ambiance was very nice.

The food here is also top notch. My favorite go to place for pho. The service was promt and attentive. We were not rushed or ignored. The ambiance is great. There is a full bar and chatting going on which makes it easy to engage in conversations. There is a cool 90s vibe going on with the music

I'm a longtime Jack's Abby customer dating back to their original location in a much smaller brewery on the opposite side of route 135. They have always had excellent pizza which I would say is one of the best pizzas in metro west. As for this trip, I was very happy with the brisket grilled cheese and the nicely crisped French fries. The mix of American and cheddar cheese was tasty but most importantly, the brisket was the leading actor as it should be. Other places I've had this often overwhelm the brisket with too much bread or a sauce that takes away from the brisket. I found this one to be well balanced. As for beer, I had the Hoponious Union which is their IPL and most like an IPA. They brew exclusively lagers and closed down their IPA brewery (Springdale) which is why I haven't come as often as I used to. The vibe of the place is definitely brewery / old factory with tall ceilings and open concept overall. You can watch them make pizzas which I always find fun. They have a great outdoor area in the summer that is worth the trip alone. I haven't been this summer yet but they usually upgrade every year and have had corn hole and other games in that area in the past.

Wandered in here one Saturday afternoon and tried a steak taco…read more The service here was not terribly great, but it was an odd time of day and there was only one waitress. Seems like a place with steady regulars. There is a digital jukebox in the corner that was used every so often. Although I only ordered 1 taco, looking at the weekday specials and prices, it seems like a great place for cheap alcohol and food. I was really unsure how the quality of food was going to be so I decided to get one taco. Initially ordered the chorizo but was told they were all out so switched to steak. The steak is cut into little chunks which helps to disguise it's tough texture. However, the actual taste of the beef is okay insomuch as I could actually taste it, which is more than I can say for some other restaurants. The beef also had a nice browned outside, adding a hint complexity along with some grilled onions. I doubt the tortilla is made from scratch, but it was soft and appealing. In addition I was provided with a cilantro sauce as a condiment. It added a good note of complexity along with a squeeze of lime. Some hot sauce in combination with the cilantro sauce could be addicting. Pleasantly surprised by the steak taco. No frills, but decent enough and at a very affordable price point. I would return to try other items on the menu.

I have tried and tried to find fish tacos that were not dry and offered strong flavor. Good news, I found them! Their fish tacos come with a delicious grilled filet that is flavorful and juicy (if fish can be juicy). The grilled onions are a perfect match (to all their tacos actually), and I was so happy I ordered them. Try the two pork options as well (carnitas and el pastor). They are both just delicious! I cannot wait to return, as I think about these tacos all the time.

We took our two younger ones there for a quiet Easter Sunday dinner together. So many interesting things on the menu, we way over ordered. But everything was delicious. We had the pork belly confit, the cheese bread, the octopus, and the parm wings to start. They were all polished off quickly. Our pork belly did seem to have missed a sauce, but we just dipped them with the cheesy bread sauce and was very happy. My son ordered a few different skews and thoroughly enjoyed his Picanha, sausage and cheese and chicken heart. My youngest said the chicken hearts were the best she had ever tried. High praise from a kid loving chicken heart since just a tiny tod. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye over mushroom risotto. We order medium rare and both of ours came perfectly done. Both our kids thoroughly enjoyed trying our steak and risotto. My daughter and I both enjoyed mixing my son's Yucca mash with the risotto. She practically scrapped my plate clean. We all had our eyes on the pineapple, but all agreed we were overstuffed and will defer to next time. We even had leftovers to bring home to one happy Puppy. Will definitely return!

But it's the food and drink that truly steal the show. The menu is a love letter to Brazilian and South American cooking -- bold, soulful, and bursting with creativity. Every dish tells a story of a rich culinary tradition, taking you on a journey from bright, sweet notes all the way through to deep, satisfying umami. Both the cocktail menu and non-alcoholic offerings match this spirit, offering drinks that are every bit as thoughtfully crafted as the plates they accompany. We had a great server, though, our only complaint was that we were ready to head out and they were nowhere in sight. Not a huge deal, the few minutes of waiting didn't end up mattering. The burrata was a lovely touch and while I'm not normally a fan of tomato - I loved it with the fig jam. I got the Rickey Sour beer but I was very intrigued by their cocktails which I want to try next time. There were tons of good sounding options on the menu. Would for sure come back to try others.
