The entrees, the salads, and all the apps are also phenomenal, again with high quality ingredients and sophisticated flavors, and their burger is definitely the best in Metrowest. Their only flaw is that someone in the kitchen has a heavy hand with black pepper and red pepper flakes tend to appear too frequently, so I always make sure to ask for no added pepper. The specials are not to be missed, unfortunately they're only served on the weekend, and the special desserts--oh my! Kudos, Jack's Abby! Seems like a place with steady regulars. There is a digital jukebox in the corner that was used every so often. The steak is cut into little chunks which helps to disguise it's tough texture. The beef also had a nice browned outside, adding a hint complexity along with some grilled onions. I doubt the tortilla is made from scratch, but it was soft and appealing. In addition I was provided with a cilantro sauce as a condiment. It added a good note of complexity along with a squeeze of lime. I'm normally skeptical about meats that are pre-cooked and prepared mashed potatoes as they can sometimes be too salty. But this did not disappoint - it was NOT too salty and just perfectly seasoned. After 2 days of leftovers, the pork was still incredibly moist. And, the mashed potatoes were unbelievable, and stuffing was really a creative and tasty recipe.
