We went today and ordered Pho Ga (chicken) We noticed that the menu had changed as they usually had just Pho and a size of the bowl..this time no size.... just one size, so I am guessing that there could be new owners or new management?? We ordered hot tea, but the teak cam in water drinking glasses which were really hot to pick up (not so good!) While sitting there, we noticed this woman with black hair with bare feet as she had taken off her shoes in the restaurant. Not so appetizing!! Our soup finally arrived at the table and the smell was that of fish. Yuk. It was supposed to be chicken but chicken doesn't smell like FISH. I took a little taste and sure enough it tasted like FISH. We asked the waiter "is this supposed to taste like fish?" and he said " there is no fish in it". We advised that the soup tasted like fish and was not good. After that, we decided not to stay but also not to pay for the FISH soup that was supposed to be chicken and just pay for our drinks. We then paid for the drinks and left the place. Beware. if you go there, don't order ANY of their soups, it is really disgusting and could make you sick. If this is a new owner, maybe you need to take a cooking class??? And then maybe tell people to keep their shoes on in your restaurant! read more

Hien Vuong on Green St. closed and it left a void in my heart for great Pho. I didn't think this town had another comparable Pho restaurant. I have found it. Broth is delicious. Seafood Phoever was very good. It didn't have the hand made fish balls that Hien Vuong is known for but beggars can't be choosers. This is my new spot and I will be coming here often. You order and they deliver the food to you. Each table has a pull out drawer for napkins and utensils (it's quiet genius). Place is clean and has only been open just over a year. This new pho restaurant is so yum! First off, they gave us crabrangoons on the house because we told them it was our first time so it was off to a great start. The chicken wings were super hot and crispy and came with a ginger sauce and sweet and sour sauce. IMO, the wings were so good on their own. Spring rolls had pork and shrimp and were your usual spring rolls nothinf special, but the hoisin sauce was extra good. I ordered a build your own pho and the beef broth is super rich and flavorful. I did want to try it with the wide/thick rice noodles but they gave me the usual pho noodles anyway, which was no big deal (but I still definitely want to try the wide rice noodles sometime). The price is a bit more expensive than surrounding pho restaurants. My bowl was $17 I believe? But the portion sizes are very generous. If you only want broth and noodle (no meat), it's only $9 through the build your own pho. It's pretty spacious inside and they can accommodate for large parties. There's even a piano (though we ask if we could play and they said we could but it's out of tune Lol). Oh, and our waitress was very nice and helpful knowing it was our first time. Ordered take out today and absolutely fell in love with their pho! Their beef bro had all the right complexities of flavor and their portion size is more hearty than some of the other local spots nearby! We also tried their crispy egg rolls and crab rangoon which were both equally delicious and crispy! Even though we didn't eat at the restaurant, the place looks super fun and spacious!!! Just stumbled upon this place, and will definitely be adding it to my go-to rotation of restaurants! I had the Phoever Vegetable pho and it was great. Fantastic broth, not too salty, all ingredients were SUPER fresh. Plate of nice crisp bean sprouts, basil, and jalapenos. Am guessing the chili paste on the table was made in house because it didn't have that over-pasteurized mushy look. More saucy with chunks of peppers in a nice hot oil base. Also had a Thai iced tea which was very good. Oh. And the service was great - friendly and attentive. I'm guessing family owned and they made you feel welcome and that they appreciate your visit. Food was delicious very authentic we got the BYOB. You get to make your own Pho bowl. I opted for the chicken broth vey delicious with flank and ribeye steak, egg, and squid. With all the veggies. The milk tea is so good and their house made chilly oil is on point. Services gets a 10/10 our server was attentive and kind. I got the spring rolls, basic Pho and Thai Milk Tea! All were incredible.. the broth was rich and flavorful. Fresh ingredients. The service was prompt and friendly. The owner came out and greeted us. My family & I have ordered 6 bowl of Pho & a plate of fried rice. The pho broth was good but leans on the salty side. And with 6 bowl of pho, we were only given ONE plate of veggies. While the table next to us with 3 people also got the same size plate of veggies as we did. We had to ask the girl who was serving our table... 4 times & never even brought it out. Each time we'd asked her & she'd let out this sigh of annoyance. And she'd go inside & bring out a plate of veggies BUT to another table, not ours! We had to ask another girl & she brought it out to us. It's just ridiculous that I'd had to ask so many times just to get another plate of veggies to cover 6 bowls of pho! Seriously, stop being stingy & start accommodating a sufficient amount of veggies for your customer. There's really no need for anyone to ask! read more

This was our family first visit. We love the small water bottles please keep this as long as you can. Our rating was our pho were a bit salty for our taste. Our son loves pho and he didn't bother drinking the broth as he usually would. My hu tieu mì kho was also salty and spicy for my taste. Thanks for the ragoons at the end. That was nice. On our way to Boston from Umass Amherst, we stumbled upon Phoever Whatever. Not knowing too much about the restaurant, we were a bit nervous at first since there wasn't too much information to go with on Yelp. When we walked in, we were happy to see that the restaurant is very new, spacious and clean. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with bottles of water which is nice to see; most restaurants we went to usually offer tap water instead. Mike, one of the owners, came out to take our orders. The menu is pretty simple but it's got all the meat choices and more noodle selections to choose from than a normal Vietnamese restaurant. They even have udon, ramen and egg noodles as a choice to go with their soup. We got to try their duck, beef and "build your own" pho, each came with different soup base and noodle type. They were all very tasty and there is no lingering MSG taste in our mouth after. We can tell they really put in the work to make their soup and food! To add to the wonderful dinning experience, Mike came out to chat with us. From the conversation, we can tell he's very personal, hard working and honest. This restaurant is truly one nice place to stop by. We highly recommend if you haven't gotten a chance to try it yet. Ohh, and they also have refreshing cold drinks we can take on the road!
