I came to this restaurant for Vietnamese food, rather than seafood boil, so this review might not be relevant for anyone looking for seafood boil. I was made aware that they serve bo ne (Napoleon beef) here and I just had to try! They used cubed beef (like the one for shaking beef) that came out so tender and flavorful. I love it when restaurants try to make bo ne as authentic as possible with pate! This was served with two eggs, stir-fried onions, and banh mi (that seemed like they made in-house as well). I didn't see this item on the menu, though, so you have to just ask the server for it. The other dish that we tried that day is the hu tieu mi kho do bien (dry noodles + white noodles with seafood). It came with soup and sauce on the side. I love these type of yellow noodles! I saw that they were marinating the salted limes in big jars along the sides of the restaurant so I had to try! It was delicious! The restaurant is spacious and had so many gorgeous plants all around! This is our favorite meal. This happens to be an Asian Fusion mix of the typical cajun boils. All of our usual go-to restaurants are currently closed, so we tried My Sister's Crawfish II for the first time. Our sauce choice was "Twister", a mix of all sauces. Cajun, garlic butter, citrus, etc. The sauce itself- good and satisfying. Not our favorite Hook and Reel sauce, but good. Prices are very inexpensive here. Much less than most others, but the quality of seafood leaves a little to be desired. My dad would call these "two cent shrimp". Decent in size, but tough, hard to peel, and lacking the sweet shrimp flavor of their higher quality cousins. The crawfish are clearly frozen, with the same lackluster inconsistency as supermarket freezer bags. Corn and sausage soaking in good sauce- you can't really mess that up. The potatoes were the wrong kind of potato, and just cut into huge halves with the not too appealing skin still on. (It's okay with certain types of potatoes, but not these) Overall, we'd give it a (generous) B- Okay, maybe a C. Walking in the door, it already seemed so unorganized: 1) there was no hostess 2) Got our own menus because no one gave them to us when they seated us 3) wait staff was slow to seat you, take our order, and it took them 20-30 min to give us water 4) took food an hour to be given to us They also didn't give us any napkins or utensils. I always go during the afternoon when it's not busy so I never have problems with slow service or taking long to get seated. The original Cajun flavor on the other hand doesn't really have much of a taste, just very plain and bland. The wings that we got were alright but a little on the salty side and the fried scallops were pretty good too for a little appetizer. The Bun Rieu is probably my favorite dish there because it tasted very homemade and the pig blood was super soft. This place is definitely somewhere I would go if I was craving crawfish & didn't want to drive to Boston but other than that I'll probably just be here for some of the appetizers and bun rieu! read more

Yelp notes a "Full Bar" but all they have is a bottle of Jack Daniels, a bottle of gin and vodka, and two grades of cognac along with some sweeteners. Served a martini in a margarita glass. Yuck! Service was terrible. The waitress didn't come to take our order until 30 minutes after we had sat down. Food took an hour to come out. The waitress didn't come by to check up on us at all. They ran out of a certain type of meat so they replaced it with cheap spam instead. The waitress didn't come by with the check so I went up to the counter to pay when a different waitress was there at the cashier. When I arrived at the cashier, I greeted her but she looked at me disgruntled and just looked away. Then she told me the total and I asked to see the receipt and she threw the receipt at me. This restaurant is right around the corner form where I live so I have come here quite often. In addition to the convenience the owners are very hospitable. The family that owns the restaurant lives in the area which in my opinion is a value add. The Pho is great and the portions are perfect. It's certainly an amazing value for why you pay. I'm so disgusted not only by the lack of customer service, but by the unsanitary kitchen conditions. I called to order take out to support my local small business,as I-see the lines rapidly growing at drive thru's which will remain nameless. At this time we have to keep our community alive. So I picked up and called and spoke with the chef directly after she argued with me on the phone I told her I will send her a picture and want a refund, but I will not yet again risk more of my health to come back out side again. Considering as an essential employee for the state I risk my life all day serving my community to keep the front lines running and the economy pushing thru this epidemic. She said not acceptable if I came out and showed her pork she would give me One Hundred is dollars she repeated this over and over again. As if I am too stupid to know what a fat piece of pork staring back at me looks like. So I took her bet and once again risked my life and my family's life by venturing out again. So I walk in and the hostess lead me to the cook directly in the kitchen. And I opened my box her jaw dropped and she knew, but of course she changed her story really fast. At this time she argued and pulled out at least three to four bags of meat, which looked like they had Covid19. I just stared at this woman arguing with me switching her story to beef and thought to my self OMG you have ate here. I was sick to just stomach as u stared at that bag of bloody gray lifeless me she tossed around touching and waving in my face. Or that white piece of already cooked pork cutlet she was tossing around. Not really sure why it was already cooked but I was too sick to ask. So I took the high road and said keep you bet of $100 just give me my money back and I will go. The whole time just thinking how I'm so glad I've been cooking at home a lot more. This is definitely one reasturant I will never patronize again, and frankly after the filth in the kitchen I witnessed I will be sure to cook at home fit a long time to come. I always switch up what i get and love every dish, but this particular day i decided i wasn't feeling well and just wanted some pho. Seriously, I would happily go to any of them at this point, including My Sister's Crawfish. The Pho is good and the price point is pretty similar to its competitors.
