a table full of food

Super flavorful broth, lots of variety. Lots of different flavors coming from the broth and nice spice level for my bun Bo hue. This is authentic Vietnamese food and they have lots of other Vietnamese dishes besides pho. I'd love to come back to try other things as well.

Hu tieu mi kho
Han N.

I came to this restaurant for Vietnamese food, rather than seafood boil, so this review might not be relevant for anyone looking for seafood boil. I was made aware that they serve bo ne (Napoleon beef) here and I just had to try! They used cubed beef (like the one for shaking beef) that came out so tender and flavorful. I love it when restaurants try to make bo ne as authentic as possible with pate! This was served with two eggs, stir-fried onions, and banh mi (that seemed like they made in-house as well). I didn't see this item on the menu, though, so you have to just ask the server for it. The other dish that we tried that day is the hu tieu mi kho do bien (dry noodles + white noodles with seafood). It came with soup and sauce on the side. I love these type of yellow noodles! I saw that they were marinating the salted limes in big jars along the sides of the restaurant so I had to try! It was delicious! The restaurant is spacious and had so many gorgeous plants all around! I will definitely be coming back for bo ne again, and maybe I will try their seafood boil next time.

shrimp, corn and potatoes

This is our favorite meal. This happens to be an Asian Fusion mix of the typical cajun boils. All of our usual go-to restaurants are currently closed, so we tried My Sister's Crawfish II for the first time. Our sauce choice was "Twister", a mix of all sauces. Cajun, garlic butter, citrus, etc. The sauce itself- good and satisfying. Not our favorite Hook and Reel sauce, but good. Prices are very inexpensive here. Much less than most others, but the quality of seafood leaves a little to be desired. My dad would call these "two cent shrimp". Decent in size, but tough, hard to peel, and lacking the sweet shrimp flavor of their higher quality cousins. The crawfish are clearly frozen, with the same lackluster inconsistency as supermarket freezer bags. Corn and sausage soaking in good sauce- you can't really mess that up. The potatoes were the wrong kind of potato, and just cut into huge halves with the not too appealing skin still on. (It's okay with certain types of potatoes, but not these) Overall, we'd give it a (generous) B- Okay, maybe a C. (PS- not a good look to have a huge dog walking freely in the restaurant when you have so many reviews questioning your cleanliness. Just sayin...)

Sad Bowl of Bun Dac Biet
Tam N.

I had the worst experience ever while eating here. Walking in the door, it already seemed so unorganized: 1) there was no hostess 2) Got our own menus because no one gave them to us when they seated us 3) wait staff was slow to seat you, take our order, and it took them 20-30 min to give us water 4) took food an hour to be given to us They also didn't give us any napkins or utensils. My mom got the Banh Canh Cua which was average, my sister got Bun Mam which was decent. We also ordered Chanh Muoi which was way too salty. BUT the worst part was when I got my meal, I ordered the Bun Dac Biet and it was the saddest bowl of Bun Dac Biet I have ever eaten in my life. It was supposed to have more meat but I ended up getting mostly noodles and 4 slices of nem nuong and 3 sad slices of pork. Food was below average and overpriced. Overall, I would never come back. I understand that it is opening week and it's busy but they need to be more organized.

2 pounds of the asian fusion crawfish!

I would actually have to say that My Sister's Crawfish 2 is way better than the first one. I always go during the afternoon when it's not busy so I never have problems with slow service or taking long to get seated. Other than that, the servers are very nice but the crawfish overall is just okay. All the crawfish are frozen and they have the asian fusion flavor which isn't bad at all! The original Cajun flavor on the other hand doesn't really have much of a taste, just very plain and bland. The wings that we got were alright but a little on the salty side and the fried scallops were pretty good too for a little appetizer. The Bun Rieu is probably my favorite dish there because it tasted very homemade and the pig blood was super soft. This place is definitely somewhere I would go if I was craving crawfish & didn't want to drive to Boston but other than that I'll probably just be here for some of the appetizers and bun rieu!

Food = 2 stars ! Shrimp wasn't easy to peel at all. It was over cooked or something. Didn't enjoy as much as I expected , looked so good. Service = 3 stars , eh. Frozen beverages = 3 1/2 stars tops. Liked the tea and coconut smoothie ! The place is very decorative and well placed.

I avoided this place for awhile because the name just sounded plain weird and awkward. The pho was great. Super flavorful broth, the calamari was fresh pieces of squid and the shrimp was great. Warning: broth is spicy (the way I like it) We got an appetizer: shrimp pork spring rolls: super bland, tasted like eating one large piece of rice paper. Girlfriend got a coconut shake: "this is the best shake I have ever had in my life, delicious"

Came back at a later date and time. Very disappointed. Staff seemed overwhelmed (Friday evening ~8); food subpar and drinks pathetic. Yelp notes a "Full Bar" but all they have is a bottle of Jack Daniels, a bottle of gin and vodka, and two grades of cognac along with some sweeteners. Served a martini in a margarita glass. Yuck! The Hennessy was good though. Hard to defeat when 'neat'. Will not however be returning and I don't foresee this place staying in operation for long. Rent too high.

The pho alone has gotten significantly better since I first tried it over a year ago, meriting a bump from 3 to 4 stars. I'm proud that this facility has stepped up its pho game, and will be sure to give the boil another try; as of my last time trying the boil here, it needed some work. And the fries this time were seasoned well and crunchy. Yay!

Asian Fusion Crawfish

I was wicked excited when this place opened in Worcester instead of going all the way to Dorchester for it. I thought this would be the new pho place that I'd always go to, but this place was a disappointment. The soup dishes have no flavor whatsoever. I also tried the asian fusion crawfish and it wasn't to bad but it's not something I'd die for. Definitely not a place I would visit often

West & south coast Vietnamese vibe with a big array of dishes ! The food here is pretty good and I would come again. Pros: food, vibe , drinks ) Definitely give this place a try ! The Crawfish was decently sized and cooked well. This place gots to add melted butter though and more dipping sauces.

It's the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed but still excited for the meal ahead. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. As for the food, I ordered the quarter pound lobster roll, and it was absolutely outstanding. The lobster was fresh, tender, and generously portioned, with flavors that were rich yet beautifully balanced. Every bite was satisfying. Overall, this restaurant delivers on all fronts: atmosphere, service, and quality. I'd happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal!

Honestly very heavy and was glad I split the one size they had with a friend. It would have been too much. There was a little layer of oil on top too. The Faux Fiz mocktail I got was good. However, a lot of "spices". I ended up requesting more ginger beer and lime to cut it. That helped. But overall good quality drink. The Atlantic salmon crudo was very interesting. Nothing close to what I expected. It was gross. Really thick salmon over globs of a black garlic aioli. The ratio was so off. It was so pasty. I am shocked they haven't reviewed that item on their menu. Usually crudos are so nice and light. This was not. The wild Spanish octopus was the better of the three dishes. Just needed some more salt. Or more of the chorizo would have sufficed. I was surprised that this place was nothing like it used to be. Will not be back :(

Our waitress was pleasant and prompt throughout our dinner. On our first visit my co-diner ordered the fried scallops, and thought they were very tasty. So, on this visit we ordered: * 2 - Fried Scallop Baskets (one with regular fries, the other with sweet potato fries) * Chicken Wings Side with BBQ Sauce Our order arrived quite quickly, and I immediately sampled a sweet potato fry. Tasty! Hot, crispy, and nicely cooked. The same could be said for the regular fries. It's unfortunate so many restaurants are French fried challenged, with fries that are served too cool and limp. Kudos to Juicy Seafood for great fries. The scallops were also tasty, with or without the bread crumbs (which come off very easily). They were fresh tasting, very hot and very juicy. However, the chicken wings were not good, they were overcooked, overloaded with sauce and difficult to eat. I wouldn't recommend those. Overall, we were happy with our dinner and would be delighted to return.

This happened after they gave our 12 oysters to the wrong table then took 18 more minutes to reshuch 12 oysters. I got a fish sandwich. There was just some crumbled pieces of fish on it. Meanwhile other tables got the fish and chips and it was over flowing with fish. I don't get it. Wife got the lobster roll, it was just ok, the roll was soggy so she just ate the lobster. The glasses of wine are insanely priced. My daughter got a ceasar salad that had mostly white romaine, the grilled chicken was bland and dry. The best thing they made was the tuna tar tar, ironically. Then to top off a not great 200.00 experience for 2 people, it took the waitress 15 more minutes to bother to come back and run the card.
