I don't claim to be a Viet food snob, but I can say that growing up in NYC, currently living mid-state-middle-of-nowhere, and spending a lot of time in Boston, I have tried a wild range of Viet food restaurants. This place to amazing in my Taiwanese-American palate. If I say that my Viet SO likes this place, does it validate my opinions? Haha. I will say, I've only had several of their appetizer, soup, banh mi, and drink options - but they are so good that I fight to try new items when I have the chance to come back. I'm so basic, it's cold and snowing (a LOT) and in NY right now and I would love a bowl of their BBH. They are conveniently located on a main road that has ample street parking in additional to their parking lot. The space is clean, open, and in the winter - not too cold. Really good! Hit the spot on a cold rainy day and I wish I cold have tried one of everything. We got fried spring rolls and they were very flavorful. We had chicken pho and beef pho with meatballs and tripe. Very very good and filled to the brim. Servers were nice, but it was slightly confusing when it was time to pay - we needed up bringing our card up front. Inside is spacious with a bunch of tables. I normally go here when I'm in Worcester and I always get their pho dac biet. The soup is very refreshing and rich in flavor. Their cuts of meat are also very fatty and tender. Although, their stir fried meats and vegetables tend to be too sweet so I avoid that and only get pho. I'd like to try their banh mi next time to get a feel. Excellent Banh Mi sandwiches! I like to sample local asian restaurants when I travel. This place is a great gem! It was very busy, but food was consistently being delivered from the kitchen. I grabbed 2 Banh Mi sandwiches to go...roast pork and barbecue pork. They were definitely In my top 2 of Banh Mi sandwiches in the U.S. the bread was soft and crispy, even hours later. The pickled vegetables were perfectly seasoned. The meats were mouthwatering and flavorful. I don't understand how this place is only rated 4 stars. Great pho with huge portions. They actually don't have a regular size - only large and extra-large. I had the "special" pho (all meats) and they are very generous with the meat. Let's start off with some positive feedback from my recent visit to this restaurant: 1) banh mi bread was nicely toasted and crispy outer layer 2) service was efficient and friendly waitstaff 3) banh mi comes with lots of cilantro to my liking 4) beef in the pho was pretty tender 5) floor is clean and also the table is clean 6) good summer rolls!!! Cons: 1) outdated run down looking interior but clean except the bathrooms really needed some attention and cleaning 2) banh mi grilled pork with very little meat inside and the pickled carrots and radish didn't taste very sour 3) special pho didn't have meatballs, they said they ran out of them when I asked.... Instead they should have informed me then maybe I would have order something else. Also in the noodles there wasn't tendons either!!! Local feeling restaurant where they really let you linger over your meal! I felt the spring rolls and egg rolls, while tasty enough, were a little overpriced at 8.50$ for four small-ish rolls each. Great Covid precautions, all the workers were wearing masks and they treated us right away! Keep in mind in this restaurant you just walk in and sit down at whatever table you want, you don't have to wait to be seated. All of the tables are six feet apart and the place is pretty spacious so I wasn't worried about eating inside! They also give out water bottles instead of water cups if you order water to limit the chance of getting covid from drinking glasses! I got 51 which is a grilled pork chop with a fried egg. The pork chop was pretty big but also had a big bone and was thin. The sauce on it was good but very sweet so only get this if you like sweet sauces. It comes with what looks like at least a cup and a half of broken rice as well as some veggies! I also got 26 which was a pho and it came with all the usual toppings; bean sprouts, peppers, mint, the sauces. The broth was VERY good and the noodles and meat were good quality but the bowl was a little smaller than I am used to. Still very worth it for the broth's taste! I also got a bahn mi and it was absolutely stuffed with meat and pâté(?). It also comes with mayo which is sweeter than the American mayo and can I say again HUGE THICK pieces of meat. We first found this place since it's close to the large Asian supermarket, and decided to take a chance on it even though it was pretty quiet inside. The interior is nothing to write home about, and no one really goes to an Asian restaurant for spectacular service. However, the food is amazing and a great value. I've tried most of the pho in Worcester and the broth here is by far the most flavorful - very aromatic with great sweetness and full of meaty flavor. They are also pretty generous with the amount of toppings. The other items I've tried - pork chop rice, bun, spring rolls, various stir fried dishes are always good. The one thing that I haven't tried are their banh mi's, but it seems like they do pretty brisk business with that as well. read more

Although it was quiet inside with a few tables during lunchtime on a Sunday afternoon, they consistently had customers. There is even a side area to order fresh banh mi with so many options to choose from at an affordable price compared to other restaurants. We ordered their rare pho and pork chop rice with egg, variety of vietnamese meat ham. The pho was very rich, as if it was simmered for a long time! The pork chop rice was a pleasant surprised as I had so many side ingredients to taste. The portions were huge for both dishes and the prices were very affordable, maybe $10-12. I came here for lunch today (a Sunday) with two other people. We didn't have to wait to be seated. Service was friendly and we all really enjoyed our meals. For appetizers we got the spring rolls and the shrimp and jellyfish salad, I thought portions were generous and the prices were good. Everything tasted fresh. I got the fried chicken with a sunny side up egg, my fiancé ordered the combination bun, and my sister got the combination rice plate (I forget the name but it came with all the different kinds of meats). Everyone really liked their food and thought portions were very good! My fried chicken was crispy and moist, the shrimps in both of their plates were grilled to perfection, and the other meats were also cooked perfectly. I also tried a bite of the fried spring roll that came in the bun dish and thought it was delicious. Randomly decided to go to Worcester for pho, and ended up finding this gem for Banh Mi! Their banh mi has got to be the best banh mi in MA so far!! I've tried so many places in Boston and around the Boston area, and this place takes the cake!
