Really good! Hit the spot on a cold rainy day and I wish I cold have tried one of everything. We got fried spring rolls and they were very flavorful. We had chicken pho and beef pho with meatballs and tripe. Very very good and filled to the brim. Servers were nice, but it was slightly confusing when it was time to pay - we needed up bringing our card up front. Inside is spacious with a bunch of tables. Not beautiful at all but perfect for our stop on the way back to Springfield. Would absolutely return to get bun and banh mi!
The noodle soups here are so delicious and hearty that I cleaned every drop in my bowl. Portions are great and the service is quick. There is a parking lot on the side of the building for convenient parking.
The ubiquitous presence of pho restaurants in Connecticut is definitely a must-try in this cold weather. However, I found Anh Thu this side of Massachusetts and can beat any pho restaurants that I've been to. Wow! The broth was aromatic, complex, and deeply flavorful. Generous portion for the combination pho and worth every penny. We also shared an order of beef teriyaki, and it was just a tad salty, but the cha gio eggrolls hit the spot! We also tried the seafood stir-fry with flat noodles, and that was full of flavor. Food came out quite fast, and the service was friendly. I can't wait to go back!
I normally go here when I'm in Worcester and I always get their pho dac biet. The soup is very refreshing and rich in flavor. Their cuts of meat are also very fatty and tender. Although, their stir fried meats and vegetables tend to be too sweet so I avoid that and only get pho. I'd like to try their banh mi next time to get a feel. I do absolutely love their lime soda and their freshly squeezed orange juice. Just so refreshing and cleanses the palette after a hearty meal.
The food was AMAZING probably one of the best pho and spring rolls I have ever had in my life. The restaurant was pretty quiet, but my friend and I went on a Wednesday, so makes sense. I would say it's on the more expensive side for Vietnamese in Worcester, but it is definitely worth it and makes up for it in the raise in quality of the food.
Wonderful family owned and run restaurant In Worcester filled with locals. We loved the fresh spring rolls with crispy tofu. Flavorful and delicious! Pair with pho ga and you have a filling and healthy meal. Enjoy!
my vietnamese mother was having a field day here. True authenticity here!!!! hidden gem. Canh chua ca-- perfect flavor such a big bowl, perfect for family serving. ca kho to also fed three of us. Seems like a lil mom and pop shop and it's a pretty big place too. Can me made w modifications if asked. My mom wanted some mam rouc sautéed into the bok choy and ga chien nouc mam and they happily obliged even though it wasn't on the menu. Amazing place thru and thru with affordable prices. Would return a million times. Literally couldn't have made it better at home.
Great pho with huge portions. They actually don't have a regular size - only large and extra-large. I had the "special" pho (all meats) and they are very generous with the meat. I was surprised to get such healthy servings, and haven't seen that before. Summer rolls were good, but peanut sauce was so-so. Comparable to a numbered pho place.
Super flavorful broth and super good spring rolls! I got the Bún bò Huế substitute with pho noodles and it's so flavorful and a good balance of hot and spicy. Lots of meats and garnish on the soup and lots of cilantro!! I love! Their spring rolls were nice and tight and nicely stuffed with a good balance of meat to noodles. The chicken stir fry was okay, it had a lot of black pepper and the sauce was too liquidy for my liking. Overall, this is a place for good comfort pho!
Went to this place based on a Vietnamese friend's recommendation. The broth in the noodle soup was very rich and the large serving portion is well worth for the price.
Food: I like thier banh mi alit, lots of flavor in the meats and have various toppings. The rice plate is also another good dish to have with a load of portions. I enjoy thier pho but sometimes the broth tends to be on the sweeter side. Service: Family own business so it's relatively easy going since everyone is familar of the owner and family. Ambiance: They just recently updated the furniture so it looks much more cleaner and spacious. Others: Have a parking lot towards the left side of the plaza and also have some side parking on stafford st.
The food here is very authentic. Would've given it a 4 stars, but I tried ordering a salty limeade and that was unavailable. Then I was ordering my meal, which was the hamcake vermicelli bowl (bún nem nướng) also unavailable. Honestly did not love the egg rolls or the vermicelli bowl, but it wasn't bad either. The service is good and server is very prompt. The restaurant is very casual and chill.
Let's start off with some positive feedback from my recent visit to this restaurant: 1) banh mi bread was nicely toasted and crispy outer layer 2) service was efficient and friendly waitstaff 3) banh mi comes with lots of cilantro to my liking 4) beef in the pho was pretty tender 5) floor is clean and also the table is clean 6) good summer rolls!!! Nice dipping sauce too! Cons: 1) outdated run down looking interior but clean except the bathrooms really needed some attention and cleaning 2) banh mi grilled pork with very little meat inside and the pickled carrots and radish didn't taste very sour 3) special pho didn't have meatballs, they said they ran out of them when I asked.... Instead they should have informed me then maybe I would have order something else. Also in the noodles there wasn't tendons either!!! Not the same as what it was described in the menu for what I ordered!! 4) Thai iced tea super sweet side 5) beef pho broth was on an oily and sweet side 6) another dish #48 I didn't even take a photo of it, but it was thick rice noodles with beef and brown sauce in the stir fry section , that was not good!!! I mean the presentation was bad! A pool of light brown gravy with flat white rice noodles and a bunch of vegetables and some chewy beef slices! 7) price wise was too much for the food quality and the experience of the restaurant was below average Wouldn't recommend this unless u are closed by....

This is such a worcester gem. Very authentic. Lots of seating. Service is great. Extensive menu. Summer rolls are average - wish they had more shrimp The pho is delicious! My partner got the usual one with all the fixings which he liked. I am not a fan of tripe and tendon so I got the one with flank steak and asked for beef balls which they did without any extra charge. Lots of meat and noodles. Good portion for price. The broth is delicious. Would come back again to try their rice dishes. Absolutely recommend! read more

Great Covid precautions, all the workers were wearing masks and they treated us right away! Keep in mind in this restaurant you just walk in and sit down at whatever table you want, you don't have to wait to be seated. All of the tables are six feet apart and the place is pretty spacious so I wasn't worried about eating inside! They also give out water bottles instead of water cups if you order water to limit the chance of getting covid from drinking glasses! I got 51 which is a grilled pork chop with a fried egg. The pork chop was pretty big but also had a big bone and was thin. The sauce on it was good but very sweet so only get this if you like sweet sauces. It comes with what looks like at least a cup and a half of broken rice as well as some veggies! I also got 26 which was a pho and it came with all the usual toppings; bean sprouts, peppers, mint, the sauces. The broth was VERY good and the noodles and meat were good quality but the bowl was a little smaller than I am used to. Still very worth it for the broth's taste! I also got a bahn mi and it was absolutely stuffed with meat and pâté(?). It also comes with mayo which is sweeter than the American mayo and can I say again HUGE THICK pieces of meat. I got it to go so they placed the veggies on the side which is great because I usually eat half my sandwich with just meat and then have the other half with veggies! read more

Anh Thu is my favorite place for pho and Vietnamese food in Worcester. We first found this place since it's close to the large Asian supermarket, and decided to take a chance on it even though it was pretty quiet inside. The interior is nothing to write home about, and no one really goes to an Asian restaurant for spectacular service. However, the food is amazing and a great value. I've tried most of the pho in Worcester and the broth here is by far the most flavorful - very aromatic with great sweetness and full of meaty flavor. They are also pretty generous with the amount of toppings. The other items I've tried - pork chop rice, bun, spring rolls, various stir fried dishes are always good. The one thing that I haven't tried are their banh mi's, but it seems like they do pretty brisk business with that as well. read more

This place doesn't look much from the outside but don't be fooled, it's a hidden gem! Although it was quiet inside with a few tables during lunchtime on a Sunday afternoon, they consistently had customers. There is even a side area to order fresh banh mi with so many options to choose from at an affordable price compared to other restaurants. We ordered their rare pho and pork chop rice with egg, variety of vietnamese meat ham. The pho was very rich, as if it was simmered for a long time! The pork chop rice was a pleasant surprised as I had so many side ingredients to taste. The portions were huge for both dishes and the prices were very affordable, maybe $10-12. This is definitely one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant to go to. read more

I came here for lunch today (a Sunday) with two other people. We didn't have to wait to be seated. Service was friendly and we all really enjoyed our meals. For appetizers we got the spring rolls and the shrimp and jellyfish salad, I thought portions were generous and the prices were good. Everything tasted fresh. I got the fried chicken with a sunny side up egg, my fiancé ordered the combination bun, and my sister got the combination rice plate (I forget the name but it came with all the different kinds of meats). Everyone really liked their food and thought portions were very good! My fried chicken was crispy and moist, the shrimps in both of their plates were grilled to perfection, and the other meats were also cooked perfectly. I also tried a bite of the fried spring roll that came in the bun dish and thought it was delicious. Restrooms were clean and parking was easy--they have a lot next door and street parking was plentiful. I would definitely come back. read more
I've been on the hunt for a Vietnamese restaurant staple here in Worcester and I've found my favorite to be Anh Thu 2. For the price and the quantity of food, it's really good. My boyfriend's family and I like to come here for a nice meal. The reason why I'm giving them 3 stars is because the service is very slow for such a decently sized restaurant. They only had one server for multiple tables which made it slower for each table. read more

Randomly decided to go to Worcester for pho, and ended up finding this gem for Banh Mi! Their banh mi has got to be the best banh mi in MA so far!! I've tried so many places in Boston and around the Boston area, and this place takes the cake! I took one bite after purchasing it and came back to order two more banh mi; that's how good and authentic it is!The cold cut is definitely recommended. The mayo and certain cold cuts are homemade. The carrot and radish is pickled so well and freshly. Totally worth the $5! You won't be disappointed! One thing I'd recommend for them is to really focus on the dishes that they do well even if that means narrowing their menu. read more
