It was my birthday recently and my husband got me a fruit cake from here. He mentioned that he put the order in the day of (terrible manners in my opinion, he should've ordered this at least a few days in advance). But amazingly it was ready by the time he finished working out at the gym. Presentation is amazing and the taste rivals that of well known Chinatown bakeries. Soon Lowell will be THE food city!

This place is a complete rip-off. I paid $15 for a roasted pork sandwich that was quite small. The pork was fatty and covered with a heavy blob of mayonnaise and pickles, while the vegetables were sparse. I've had many Vietnamese sandwiches before, but at this price point in Lowell, the quality does not come close to what you find in the greater Boston area. The large Thai tea was nearly $10--more expensive than many drinks at Starbucks. The décor is pleasant, but the food quality and pricing are among the worst I've experienced in any major metropolitan area.

Decided to try Saigon Sandwich house for a Banh Mi and it was pretty good! I ordered online thru pick up which was fairly easy and quick. It took about 15 minutes to get my three Banh Mis. I also ordered an ice Vietnamese coffee which was super strong and too sweet for me. One thing I liked was how they had another section for bakery goods with cakes and sweets! I need to check it out next time.

The location may be hard to find, but it's worth it! The restaurant is in the back of the building. Its clean, welcoming interior made it difficult to choose between sitting indoors or outside. The woman behind the counter offered help, which I needed in order to navigate the menu. The pictures next to the food also helped me decide. I ordered the vermicelli with beef which arrived quickly at my table. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful. The vegetables were fresh and the beef had a delicious marinade. The sauce served on the side was clearly homemade and I felt like everything was healthy and fresh. The menu also offered soup and sandwiches. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were generous. I highly recommend finding this hidden gem!

Came early on a Monday morning only to realize the new bakery side didn't officially open until 11am on weekdays. That wasn't a problem though, as they still kindly let us order tea and have a seat. We found a seat by an outlet, but this doesn't really seem like a place to work on a laptop since there weren't any other outlets. I would definitely recommend more for catching up with a friend or enjoying a book like I did. Around 11am, we migrated over to the sandwich side for an early lunch. I got the BBQ Pork Bahn Mi, which hit the spot. The bread was the perfect texture and the fillings were the classic combination of flavors. I would definitely come back!

This 6 inch strawberry cake cost $72. It was good, just okay though. I was hoping for different fruits not only strawberries.

Overall a good spot for something quick. However, the pricing for the spring rolls is on the higher side ($11.95) although they're not skimpy with the portions. The nem cuon is nothing to grab about (wouldn't grab this again). The salted cold foam coffee was good. The banh mi is always consistently good and fresh. Love the amount of pate they put.

Have you tried their Bánh Mì ???? Soooo good! Go and try it you won't be disappointed.

This is such a cute and cozy spot! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that makes you want to stay a while. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is my favorite--strong, bold, and full of flavor. The boba drinks are delicious too, and the bánh mì is packed with flavor and the perfect crunch. A great hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese flavors in a relaxed setting.

This was probably the best Bahn Mi and spring rolls I've had since moving to NH from Seattle. They had ALL the sammy options, I love the ham bahn mi, idk what the meats are but it's really good. This one came with 3 different cuts AND pate. Huge fan. I wasnt expecting the pate but it was yummy on the sandwich. If I had one negative thing to say it would just be that the bread was HUGE. Not a "complaint"... but maybe a little more mayo or pate to carry the bread. I also got a standard grilled pork bahn mi which was good. The spring rolls...again, FIRST rolls with BOTH shrimp and pork since leaving the west coast. And the sauce was t just hoi sin it was legit spring roll sauce, peanutty. (I have no idea what this sauce actually is but this place's was the closest to the real sauce I'm used to.) also got the pork spring rolls and YES. They had a crispy stick in them! 4 outta 4 for getting things right for me. Wife got a noodle dish that was good. Fresh ingredients, cilantro, carrots, daikon, fish sauce, peanuts, and the chicken was delicious. Will return when I want a good bahn mi again, even though it's about 45 min away from me I would go back for the pork sausage spring rolls with the crispies in them!

Every dish I've ever tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of heart goes into the cooking here. On top of that, the staff is wonderful -- friendly and genuinely welcoming, which always makes us feel valued as guests. Unfortunately, I have to rate my current experience four out of five stars due to an issue that significantly impacted our meal. While we were eating, there were cockroaches crawling on the wall near us, which was extremely unsettling and completely tainted the experience. It made it very difficult to continue enjoying our food, despite how delicious it was. I say this with sincerity: if the restaurant can fully address the cleanliness concerns, including any cockroach or rodent issues, I truly believe this place can return to being a solid five-star restaurant. The food and the people are already there -- it just needs that final, crucial piece to match the quality of everything else.

Though they advertise they serve both Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, you won't find boat noodle soup or khao soi here for Thai food. For Vietnamese noodle soups, they do offer some of the other popular ones like bun bo hue, bun rieu, and bo kho. Here, they also have rice plates and vermicelli bowls too. I typically get their bun bo hue and it's good every time. Service is pretty quick and staff is always nice.

I just wish the broths were boiling beforehand because the table heats up pretty slowly. Aside from that, they have a really nice hotpot combo for $23.50 during dinner time and you can pick one broth, one carb, one protein, and it comes with a vegetable bouquet, so I think it's pretty affordable as long as you don't order any extras. It's individual hotpot so you don't have to share pots and worry about sharing. The mala broth is superb and I think it's so flavorful because they use pho broth as the base. It does get sweeter as it boils down, but I guess I kind of prefer that over regular hotpot that gets saltier over time. They have a nice sauce bar with a good variety and even have pickled onions and jalapeños. If you're looking for a spicy and zesty sauce you can try my usual combo of: garlic, chili peppers, barbecue sauce, cilantro, scallions, red vinegar, and squeeze two slices of lime. The meat quality is not bad. They have meat combo platters as well if you want to order more meat on the side. I tried the blue jolly expecting it to taste sour like a blue jolly rancher, but it was more sweet and too strong for my liking. I tried the lychee green tea and it was not bad, a subtle taste of lychee. Aside from that the place is pretty big and they also have a separate bar room that you can eat in as well since this place was a tavern/club. Anyways I'm going again for the 3rd day in a row!

Everything for hot pot was wonderful. The night we went was a Thursday at 6pm, we were one of 4 tables there. Drinks were meh. We waited a really really long time to be greeted, choose drinks on their signature menu to make it quicker, then waited an equally long time for drinks. Then we waited well past the time we had finished our drinks to give our order. Waited for water. Never could ask for a refill of water or beverage. Our server mostly was back in the kitche Only one person there could make drinks and they also had tables they were waiting on. Despite those challenges people were very nice and kind. We'd go back to give it another try in hopes the wait wasn't quite so long and drinks weren't so blah.
