    Veggie Sandwich
    Trey T.

Small shop in the Pailin plaza overshadowed by Red Rose. The ONLY shop that sells Jackquai made from scratch. You want fresh fried dough for kathiew or bawbaw? Gotta go here. Nom Pang Pate is the best hands down. The butter is amazingly sweet and creamy. The pickled veggies are so well seasoned. Together, everything just ties in. Albeit, the owner is little slow in making the sandwiches, but it's still good. Come here for the best nom pang pate in Massachusetts!

Good morning if you need a iced coffee or some dessert, this is the best place Phnom Leap is ones of the best to get your sandwiches everything's always fresh made early in the morning even sugarcane drink is the best for me, but they have more variety of drink. Specially

Super tasty Bahn Mi sandwiches on really crisp, flaky bread. Seem like very nice people! Easy to miss it--tiny shop.

Fried rice like I've never had before. Whatever seasonings that are added give good flavor and a bit of heat after. 10/10

As this is Latinx heritage month, seems like a perfect time to finally check them out. This is a tiny little store front. Most of the building is taken up by kitchen and storage. There are 2 two-tops and 1 four-top table for dining-in. Tables are very nice and the area was clean. An open kitchen over looks the dining area. A cashier stand, where you order, is to the left of the entrance. Menu boards are located on the wall above the open kitchen. A cooler across from the cashier holds bottled soda, water and tea. The cashier was super personable and answered a couple of silly questions from me. (I always have questions. So many questions!) I had to try the empanadas of course and they offer several varieties. My SO got himself a pepperoni pizza. We both grabbed bottled soda. We had an opportunity to chat a little with the cook too who is also very nice. A parton who is clearly known to the staff came in and had a long, friendly chat with staff while we ate. Just before we left some high school students came in. This is absolutely a neighborhood spot. The pastry on my empanada is very good. Flakey, thin, holds together well. I would have preferred less pastry for the amount of filling. Most bites were air. The ground beef was seasoned well enough but I think I was looking for more spice and maybe a little heat. Still, it was enjoyable. The vegetable empanada was bell peppers, onions and mushrooms with a little bit of cheese. Same result. I was looking for more filling, spice and heat. Don't get me wrong. They are good. I did enjoy them. And for all I know, this is the way abuela makes them. Everyone has their own preferences. This is just me. Take it as you will. My SO enjoyed his pizza. That's all I got from him. Sorry I can't elaborate. This is a small store front right off a neighborhood. On street parking is free. You may have to walk a bit from your parking spot, but as mentioned, this is really a neighborhood spot the locals frequent. There does not appear to be a public restroom inside. I didn't ask. Staff were lovely. Food is good.

The location is new and modern. The service is very good. When I walked in and looked at the refrigerator that had the meats for the sandwiches it struck me that it didn't seem like the same quality meats that I had seen before. I don't know if this was a recent change, but I'm sure it's consistent across locations. We ordered three regular sandwiches, including an Italian, a steak & cheese and a super sub. We made two meals and one an individual sub. The total cost was just under $45. I was genuinely surprised by how much it cost. What equally surprised me was the amount and quality of the meats. It seems sparser than what I remember and not the same quality. The roll, dare I say it, was very subway like. It didn't seem completely done. I was disappointed. There are other alternatives that are greater value and quality.
