I have a problem with a cupcakes because when I order a dozen I end up eating half of them same day. Please stop making these delicious treats because you are going to bankrupt me. The cupcakes are always soft, and no matter what event I'm running for the residences of Jackson Street lofts or 201 Canal Apartments you guys always have enough! With over 7 varieties of cupcakes flavors you can't go wrong. They have yummy coffee drinks, boba& a great breakfast menu, I could hang out here all day!

Shout out to Zach for saving the day! More on that in a bit. First of all, their storefront is incredibly inviting and is spacious for all group sizes. We walked in with a very specific request to fix a cake bought from another establishment, but ended up picking up some cupcakes and boba drinks to take home anyway. The menu is relatively extensive for a bakery and surprisingly, there were a lot of options to still choose from considering we were there at about 4:30pm on Saturday evening. Most bakeries are low on inventory by that time of day but this spot did well in forecasting based on Saturday night foot traffic. Bravo! I took home a Red Velvet cupcake which I gave to my nephew later in the evening but my Lychee Milk Tea that I ordered was fire. Most bakeries can't put out decent boba drinks so this was a plus for me. Next thing. We brought in a cake that was accidentally smothered in the process of setting up for my niece's birthday party. We explained the situation to the staff (which I might add were all very helpful) and Zach came out and responded relatively confidently "I'll see what I can do" -- it was so reassuring so we were incredibly grateful. Long story short, we waited in the seating area for about 30 minutes and Zach worked his magic -- he fixed the corner of a round cake where frosting was smeared off. Not only did he assist us with such humility, but he did it with care and with the honor of service to the customers who will support his business. So -- kudos to the entire team for being pleasant, working some impromptu magic, and for putting out some really good sweets and boba drinks. Keep shining in Lowell -- I see yall!

Delicious and delightful! Family birthday dessert for Sandy! We had dumplings down the street then walked here for a perfect end to a perfect evening.

Just some photos to add to my last review! Blue monster is still good and still tastes freshly made, with chunks of what I think is Oreos and white chocolate chips? Love love love the dirty tiramisu cupcakes, absolutely phenomenal. Cookies and cream was sweet and soft and I loved the texture of the frosting.

Absolutely LOVE this place!! Probably the only place I would ever go for cupcakes. My colleagues even sent me a large box of assorted cupcakes for my graduation. This bakery lives up to its name. And you will not be disappointed.

This place has grown so much since I last been here, but the cupcakes stayed the same ~$3 a cupcake I think. Tres leches is the best flavor in my opinion. What I love is that the desserts aren't overly sweet and nicely balanced. There's plenty of selections and lots of seating. They also serve breakfast items, bubble tea, and coffee - but I never tried it before.

Hmmm. Where is the rest of the macaron? It's a quarter size. Lol. For the price it should be bigger. And the lemon bar too. Increase the sizes for the cost !

The caramel brownie sundae was worth the price; seemed like the ice cream was sandwiched by two delicious brownies. The employees were friendly, polite, and worked quickly. Despite working on large orders (you can see the tickets from the seating area, so I was able to understand the wait time), they were still able to get my order out pretty quickly. There's plenty of seating area. The atmosphere is welcoming. I'm looking forward to trying more sundaes. I've had a few of their cupcakes; they're never too sweet. Definitely recommend coming here.

Friendly. Sweet. Unique. Little Delights is the downtown business you can love to support. Trained and friendly staff, a creative menu of various sweets accompanied by mainstay breakfast sandwiches and bubble tea, and (now) an amazing downtown eating/working space that's cleaner and more updated than any downtown space in town. Prices are not inexpensive, but reasonable given variety and quality. I've chatting with the owner, who's worked after hours for months to get the new space up and running and it's clear he understands the importance of the little things too many small businesses forget: greeting your customers, offering insights to a menu, and knowing the regulars. This is what makes small big and it's great to see Little Delights expand to sell little delights in big space!

Unfortunately, what I ordered just didn't land. I got the seasonal campfire latte with protein powder and a matcha brownie. In hindsight, I should've kept it simple and skipped both the protein powder and the brownie. The latte tasted pretty chalky from the protein powder, and the matcha brownie unfortunately seemed stale, like it had been baked a few days prior. The vibes and service were solid, so not a total loss. I likely just ordered the wrong things. Maybe we'll give it another shot and try something simpler before we head back home to the West Coast.

The first time I was there I got one of their seasonal ice cream lattes (like an affagato) and it was good two scoops of ice cream with espresso for $6 was a good deal and it tasted good as well the ice cream was good quality and the espresso was freshly and toasty. More recently I got their seasonal mango sticky rice matcha and it was very very good I would likely reccomend a matcha over a coffee if you were to come here. I had a baked good and it was only alright, I would skip it. The atmosphere is hit or miss, sometimes the artwork they have on display is nice but sometimes it is kind of freaky. It also is typically pretty hot and a little smelly with sticky tables. The staff could not be nicer though, they are very knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to help if you have questions and get your coffee ready quickly.

Everyone knows that you have to get to a Chinese bakery early in the morning for the freshness and availability of all their wonderful delights. The dessert/cake display case left much to be desired. Again, it could have been that we arrived later in the day but it didn't seem like there was anything pleasing to the eye. Usually I get super excited and over order the typical Chinese sweet treats and end up with a box full of green tea cakes, sponge fruit cakes, mango custard, and sweet rice cakes. I didn't care for anything here except something called the "Triple" baked bun with was three separate baked buns stuck together with custard, taro and red bean filling. The baked buns are displayed on a rolling bakery cart with each group of buns labeled accordingly. There was a great variety of baked buns that included taro, tuna, hotdog, pork, and one that I've never seen before, "Steak & Cheese." We had to get one to try. Prices were a little higher than the usual Chinatown fare at $1.50 or $ 1.75 for most of the baked buns. My husband and I split a regular steamed pork bun that was filled with the usual pork filling, hard boiled egg and Chinese sausage that is common among all baos. I'm not sure if it's because we were already ravenous, but the pork bao was pretty good. I'd definitely get another one. I just finished reading all the reviews and while most of them were positive and well deserved, a…read morecouple of things stood out that I think deserve some comment. Before I get to them I want to jump on the bandwagon and say Rob and Jannette (the owners) are some of my favorite people now. I park my car in the garage across the street from them and feel a gravitational pull to the market every time I park. I sometimes go in there with no need and no idea why I'm going in and walk out with something special. Now to the complaints (which were few but shouldn't go unchallenged). First, some complained that the prices are high. That's true, as well as inevitable at such a small scale. I know the owners aren't becoming rich via this venture. If you're the type of person that only considers prices when forming a value statement, you might be better off going to BJ's. For me, value is a complex calculation that doesn't actually result in something that you can put a dollar sign in front of. I live in the neighborhood so convenience is a factor. The selection, in particular the beer and wine choices, is something that I literally can't find at any other grocery store nearby, thanks to the invisible Puritans in my state that voted down a referendum to allow grocery stores to sell beer and wine. Much of what's available is sourced locally. More important than those, and something that I saw in many reviews, is the wonderful relationship I have with the owners. I can't even walk past the place without a friendly wave from them. They know their products and are happy to answer questions about them. And they know me. They know I try to only eat vegan foods, their amazing Muffaletta sandwich being a notable exception. They know I'm allergic to chocolate. As a regular customer, I get special treatment from them. Try THAT at Market Basket! Just this morning, I ran out of turmeric and ran to the market. They didn't have it on the shelf, but they had it in the kitchen. Rob got me what I needed and refused to take my money. What's something like that worth to you? I also saw some people complain that the produce can be on the edge of spoilage. I can't deny that there have been times when I purchased things only to have them inedible the next day. I understand that this is just normal for a small, owner-operated grocery store with moderate turnover and minimal staff. But instead of writing them off, I alert them when I think something in the display fridge should be removed. Also, I don't stock my refrigerator from MSM. I buy what I need when I'm going to use it and inspect it before putting it my shopping basket. In other words, I don't attempt to treat them like a tiny Hannaford. I treat them like an amazing pantry, which is easy for me since they're in the neighborhood. Before the MSM opened the city conducted a survey among downtown residents that attempted to figure out what types of businesses people would most like to have appear in the neighborhood. A small grocer was at the top of most resident's preferences. I'd like to remind people that now that we have one, we'd better use it... or we'll lose it. I'd also add that whatever problems may exist at MSM, they'll only get better if we reach out to them the way they've reached out to us.

Market Street Market is the only locally-owned grocery store as of the time of writing this. The…read moreowner of the store also owns the building, and he is as friendly and helpful as anyone could ask for. The market carries a nice assortment of fruits and veggies (mostly local), deli meat & cheese, pastas, sauces, breads, coffees, etc. They have a great MA-roasted coffee that is excellent, and you can even get fresh-squeezed OJ by the glass - there's a fancy contraption that allows you to watch the process - or you can get watermelon by the slice. Perfect for those hot summer evenings. There are some muffins and pastries if you need a quick snack, frozen foods, and a decent selection of laundry soaps (like method) and other household necessities. In short, pretty much anything (basic) you'd need to run your home, especially if you already eat out several nights a week. They're open 8am - 8pm. Also, since it's a smaller store, I'm assuming that the owners will stock anything you ask for if there is a growing demand for it. They seem pretty flexible and are definitely open to opinions and feedback on how to make store as good as they possibly can. So why didn't I give it 5 stars? Well, it is pretty small, so there's no way they can stock EVERYthing that I need, which means I'll still probably have to go to a larger store for some things. That and the prices have to be a little higher because they get such small quantities. Otherwise, I'm a fan. I'll try to get at least a few items there every week just to keep them in business, because it's something that was sorely missing from the downtown Lowell area. Stop by and check them out! Tell 'em Jen + Tommy sent you :)
