Fantastic place. I have been here consecutive weeks. Today I got a peanut butter and banana flatbread. It was FANTASTIC! Last week I got an oatmeal. That was very good too. The açaí here is dense and unsweetened which is exactly what we love! The additions of granola makes all the difference. Fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey makes a great treat on a hot summer day. Service is super friendly. Inside is clean and bright. Plenty of parking and seating. read more

Great place for smoothies, plus sandwiches, wraps, and quesadillas too! This Tropical Smoothie Café just opened in the Drum Hill area of Chelmsford in the same strip plaza as Chipotle. Tropical Smoothie Cafe serves up a good variety of made to order fruit smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, flatbreads, quesadillas, bagged chips, and Coke soft drinks. They also serve breakfast wraps and flatbreads too! The smoothies are $5.49-$6.29 before tax. Add ins and supplements are offered for small upcharges. Pair & Save meal deals with sandwich/wrap and smoothie are offered here, saving $1.50 when ordered together. The place is very bright and colorful, which is order at the counter or online order pickup and there is limited seating inside the shop. I've been to Tropical Smoothie Cafe several times for refreshing fruit smoothies and sandwiches over the years, mainly at the Rochester, NH location. My favorite smoothies here include the Mango Madness, Pomegranate Plunge, and Kiwi Quencher. I stopped by the Chelmsford location recently. The place was moderately busy on a Saturday night, so I decided to place my order online ahead of time. My order was ready in about 12 minutes after placing my order for a Pair & Save deal, Ultimate Club & side of Kale & Apple Slaw ($7.49 plus tax) and a Mango Madness Smoothie ($3.99, normally $5.49 if ordered alone), $12.02 with tax total. The sandwich was small in size, but pretty good tasting. The Ultimate Club was comprised of sliced ham, turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, parmesan cheese, tomato, romaine lettuce, & chipotle mayo on warm soft ciabatta bread. The small side of kale & apple slaw was fresh and crunchy and had a sweet flavor. My favorite Mango Madness Smoothie had the flavors of mango and pineapple, and nonfat yogurt blended well, a very sweet and refreshing frozen drink, even though it was very chilly outside. Overall, a pretty good experience at the Chelmsford Tropical Smoothie Café and online ordering was quick and easy, also the saving time of the workers who were very busy making drinks and food. read more

I came here for lunch and I loved it! I got the bowl & smoothie combo, which is not a bad deal for $15. The Baja chicken bowl was tasty! It was better than expected. Portions were ok - there could have been a few more pieces of chicken but no big deal. I like how they portion the rice so it's not a huge amount (I prefer to save on the carbs!). The sauce that it came with was a little spicy but not too much. The lettuce and other few veggies were all very fresh. I got the maple sweet potatoes as a side and those were excellent. Always love the smoothies!!! They taste so fresh and they come in huge cups! It's a great value. I wish they had more gluten free options, such as GF bread/wraps. I will come here all the time. This place is unbelievable! My wife went into here on a whim while waiting for me to come out of a store. We tried the Bahama mama smoothie, and we were instantly hot. So unbelievably delicious and at a reasonable price too! We have come back many times since to order the smoothie. We even stopped in today to try one of those sandwiches and I was absolutely blown away. We ended up getting a large smoothie, Caprese sandwich, and a bag of chips for under $13. Ordered here for the first time for lunch and the food was delicious! We got the chipotle chicken flatbread, hummus wrap, jalapeno corn, kale slaw, and acai berry boost smoothie. They have their good and bad days . I love the island green smoothie ! Sometimes they make it tasty other times it taste like pure ice . They do have great deals and rewards on their app if you download it . I had to give it a break Because at first it was good all the time I kept going and not sure if the employees changed but then I got like chunks of kale/spinach leafs in my mouth as I chugged my smoothie . I was recommended this place from my friend, she goes to the tropical smoothie in Peabody. I had high hopes for this place. I went to the closest one to me. I walked in and everything was okay until this one worker started giving me nasty looks. I ordered the new green dream yogurt and I had high hopes. The girl who took my order had so much attitude. I wanted to ask for the manager, I didn't because I knew if i had she would have made an issue out of it. I was really frustrated because instead of making the food she just sat there talking to one of the other staff members. I had waited around 20/30 minutes waiting and there wasn't any other people in the building and not many mobile orders coming in either. When she went to give me my order she threw it down on the counter. I didn't even want the smoothie bowl anymore i was way too frustrated so I tried a few bites and it wasn't good at all!can't express how angry and annoyed I was with this young girl. She was very skinny, had many many tattoos, all over her arms and even her face, and had dark brown hair. i really hope her manager gives her a chat about her customer service and how to have some work ethic.
