Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel w Bacon and Green Onion Cream Cheese & Bananas Foster Iced Coffee.

I'd say KJ's is pretty average. From the food to the drinks to the service, nothing particularly stands out, but it doesn't disappoint either. They do have a solid selection of flavored coffee beans, which is where they shine a bit. The coffee itself, however, isn't as strong as I'd like--it's just not bold enough for my taste, but that could be a personal preference. The bagels, sandwiches, and pastries are fine, but nothing to write home about. They do the job when you're in the mood for a quick bite, but they don't exactly knock your socks off. The prices are mid-range--not as cheap as Dunkin' across the street, but not as expensive as Euphoria a few blocks away, though you can't really compare them directly. There are a few booths if you want to sit down, and the service is quick, so it's a good option if you're in a rush or just want a casual place to relax. Overall, KJ's is a solid choice, but not somewhere you'd go out of your way for unless you're a fan of their coffee beans.

I was looking for a quick place to grab breakfast before getting back on the road and KJ's was a perfect fit! I was able to order online and pick up in store within 10 minutes! It's adorable inside of the store, and it was so great to know I was supporting a small business :) Unfortunately I didn't have any cash on me and I really wanted to tip, but they didn't offer digital tips... which I think needs to be changed because you folks deserve the extra gratuity!! Definitely a reliable spot with a wide variety of menu options, great job here :D !

First time here and the sandwich's were really good. Perfect for a quick easy reliable sandwich. The flavors were fresh and tasty. Two very different sandwich's the sriracha sandwich was sweet and tangy and you could taste the added banana peppers making it a little extra spicy. The south western turkey sandwich was the perfect amount of turkey to cheese ratio. Reminded me almost like a seasoned grilled cheese with tomato and turkey which just added that extra flavor. The coffees weren't the best they were slightly watery and you could clearly taste the syrup. I wish the coffee was slightly stronger and it had less ice.

KJ's is doing a lot right. We stopped in for coffee and breakfast sandwiches and were impressed with their food/drinks, customer service, and COVID compliance. Everyone working at KJ's was warm and welcoming. I had a few menu questions and they were answered easily and quickly. I ordered a seasonal special White Chocolate Raspberry Latte (not my usual, but the chalkboard by the register advertising it called my name!) and the Tom Brady breakfast sandwich on a gluten free bagel. The latte was great, hot and not too sweet. The breakfast sandwich was also delicious. I'm always wary about trying new gluten free bread products because they tend to be a little bit or miss. This gluten free bagel was tasty and didn't taste like cardboard. Win! The sandwich came with egg, avocado, and cheddar cheese. It was hot and melty- delicious! KJ's also has a huge case of gluten free pastries and we grabbed a pop tart from Something Sweet Without the Wheat for later (it was delicious!) The huge selection of gluten free items was a welcome surprise and the care that was taken during gluten free food prep was especially appreciated. I am always so grateful when restaurants take food allergies seriously! I felt safe eating here and will happily return to try some more sandwiches and drinks.

In the photo, those are pieces of chicken not croutons! In the second photo the entirety of what was in the wrap. Disappointing.

Unfortunately, what I ordered just didn't land. I got the seasonal campfire latte with protein powder and a matcha brownie. In hindsight, I should've kept it simple and skipped both the protein powder and the brownie. The latte tasted pretty chalky from the protein powder, and the matcha brownie unfortunately seemed stale, like it had been baked a few days prior. The vibes and service were solid, so not a total loss. I likely just ordered the wrong things. Maybe we'll give it another shot and try something simpler before we head back home to the West Coast.

The first time I was there I got one of their seasonal ice cream lattes (like an affagato) and it was good two scoops of ice cream with espresso for $6 was a good deal and it tasted good as well the ice cream was good quality and the espresso was freshly and toasty. More recently I got their seasonal mango sticky rice matcha and it was very very good I would likely reccomend a matcha over a coffee if you were to come here. I had a baked good and it was only alright, I would skip it. The atmosphere is hit or miss, sometimes the artwork they have on display is nice but sometimes it is kind of freaky. It also is typically pretty hot and a little smelly with sticky tables. The staff could not be nicer though, they are very knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to help if you have questions and get your coffee ready quickly.

The location is new and modern. The service is very good. When I walked in and looked at the refrigerator that had the meats for the sandwiches it struck me that it didn't seem like the same quality meats that I had seen before. I don't know if this was a recent change, but I'm sure it's consistent across locations. We ordered three regular sandwiches, including an Italian, a steak & cheese and a super sub. We made two meals and one an individual sub. The total cost was just under $45. I was genuinely surprised by how much it cost. What equally surprised me was the amount and quality of the meats. It seems sparser than what I remember and not the same quality. The roll, dare I say it, was very subway like. It didn't seem completely done. I was disappointed. There are other alternatives that are greater value and quality.
