    Salmon on fire app

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon walking in.I admired the decor and the setup of the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hostess was friendly at our waitress Lindsay was great! I was able to customize my order for the sushi rules I had wanted to try with my food aergies and she made it happen. Every dish was absolutely delicious and made to perfection with a great amount of eye candy!! I had customized a lobster, sushi roll with black caviar and truffle oil. That was absolutely delicious! We tried the salmon on fire, crab ragoons, chicken pad thai, ceviche, some delicious cocktails, and lava cake for dessert. Highly recommend and I cannot wait to find another one to visit around the country.

Karma is that GORL! I don't make the rules... they're just that good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Okay, so their aesthetic gives off a similar vibe to PF Chang's BUT I swear their food is FIRE![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offer Asian Fusion here and lots of seating available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I personally prefer to just order sushi and apps, skip the rice plates. We ordered two sushi rolls and two orders of nigiri. -- seared hamachi maki w/ caviar --phoenix sunrise --otoro black truffle dressing (2) x2 The star of the show was really the otoro black truffle dressing... OMG! It really surprised me because I've been to so many sushi spots, as sushi is probably my favorite, & it's definitely top 10 bites I've had, not even kidding. So much umami & ugh, the flavors just mesh SO WELL. We started off by ordering one order to try & ended up getting one more order before calling it a night haha. If there's one thing you absolutely have to get, it's that! The rolls were also very good & had a nice balance of filling to rice ratio. Highly recommend stopping by if you're shopping at Burlington mall or just in the area! Plenty of parking but it does get packed.

All I have to say is WOW. This is one of the coolest and tastiest Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. I highly recommend Karma, it's awesome. The menu is huge, and it's fusion so there's a variety to choose from (including sushi). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is also so cool, it has a very futuristic feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My brother and I came here for dinner and shared the Pu Pu platter for two and chicken fried rice. The platter came with golden chicken wings, boneless spare ribs, beef teriyaki, shrimp tempura, Krab Rangoon, chicken fingers, and pork & veggie egg rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious. The portion is perfect and all of the appetizers are cooked and marinated to perfection. My top three favorites out of the appetizers were the beef teriyaki, chicken fingers, and spare ribs. It came with spicy mustard and duck sauce for dipping. The rice was also some of the best I've ever had, each of the flavors of the ingredients was prevalent and the chicken was great. Everything came out quickly and the staff were super friendly and diligent. I will 10000% be back here again!

I've personally never eaten here because i thought it was just another Asian fusion mall level food but the lady said nah i need to give it a go. YES. Glad she said let's eat there for dinner! We were doing a bit of holiday shopping and decided to eat there in a snow storm haha. Seated promptly at the sushi bar. We ordered: (2) Otoro Black truffle dressing (1) Seared hamachi caviar (1) Phoeni sunrise All the fish looked, smelled and texturally was fresh! Nice chew, good flavor combinations for each roll. Honestly i really just remember the Otoro black truffle dressing dish. It was such a great bite, we ordered a second serving. Each serving comes with only 2 pieces, haha wish it was 4 for the price but so be it! The Otoro was so fresh, nice chew, and the black truffle dressing was a star in presentation and flavor! Will literally be back just for that dish alone. Multiples. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of free parking at Burlington mall, plenty of seating for dinner parties or date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've been to Karma countless times, and it's always amazing. Consistently one of my go-to spots. The black pepper udon noodles are a must -- easily one of the best dishes on the menu and something I order almost every time. The crab rangoons are delicious, perfectly crispy and flavorful. My favorite roll is the Pineapple Express, but honestly all of the sushi rolls are very good and well executed. That said, I'd personally stay away from most of the Chinese dishes as the sushi and noodles are where Karma really shines. Also, make a reservation because it's almost always packed. For locations: Westford is also amazing, and very consistent with this one. The Winchester location, while good, leans more into fine dining and is much more expensive , not really worth it in my opinion compared to the other spots. Overall, a fantastic restaurant if you order the right things. Highly recommend.

Karma is a good Asian fusion restaurant. Our waiter was great. He was attentive and checked up on us frequently. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was modern. I was a fan.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The highlight was the food. We had two items: the salt and pepper pork chop and the spicy garlic fried chicken. Usually salt and pepper pork shops tend to be greasy and heavy. The batter on these pork chops was light. The pork chops were also not overly salted. The star of the show was the garlic fried chicken though. If you are a fan of fried garlic, fried chillies and fried chicken (no batter though), this is your jam. All these flavors cane together well in this dish and I would visit establishment just for this dish.

Amazing service and sushi! The drinks were also delicious and sooooo refreshing! I would definitely come back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance indoors is absolutely stunning as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will say it's a little bit on the pricier side but the experience is always worth every penny!

My friend took me to Karma in Burlington for a birthday lunch, and I really enjoyed it! Right from the outside, the place looks super clean and classy, definitely gives a nice first impression. When we walked in, it took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge us since the hostess was on the phone, but once another staff member noticed us, we were seated right away. They asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and we chose inside (because it was hot out and I sweat lol). We got a booth, which I always love and prefer, and it wasn't busy since it was lunchtime. We started with waters, which came right away, and I eventually got a Coke that hit the spot. For food, we ordered fried rice with shrimp and beef, the mango chicken, and the crazy maki roll. The food came out really fast (like within 10 minutes) and everything was delicious. The mango chicken really surprised me in the best way. The chicken was tender, sweet mango slices, and a great balance of sweet and savory. Our server was attentive for the most part, and overall it was a great experience. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu!

By far, this was one of my favorite places I went all year. I was a little worried from the outside, looking in thinking it was gimmicky, but the food tasted amazing. Everything tasted fresh well seasoned and beautiful. The birds nest actually being an edible bird nest all the way to the stuffed crab that packed a punch with the spices. The truffle barbecue ribs was something different but something to fall in love with if you're a truffle lover. The portions were out of this world and worth the money. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is good for a date or with family[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] parking is pretty bad just because it's located at the mall anytime in town. I would go in a heartbeat.

    Roasted Peking duck with pancakes

Wanted to check out this spot and get a couple items to test the waters. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ordered online for pick up. Got there and it seems busy inside and moderately loud in the lobby area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was around 730pm on a Sunday. As for food, I got a half order of roasted Peking duck with pancakes and an order of negi-hama maki. The duck was alright. Definitely not the best I've had. It is on the leaner side, which imo is not to my liking. What makes a cantonese style duck delicious is the fatties of the duck, the roasted texture of the glazed skin, and the taste of the spices. This duck did not have that wow factor that you can get in Chinatown or even the Chinese restaurant in Encore casino. Not a bad duck but I came in with high expectations. The negi-hama maki was good. It does come in tiny mini bite portion. Shrinkflation I guess. Overall, this restaurant is a typical fusion restaurant. My general impression is it tries to do too many things at once to target a specific customer. That's alright though. Not a bad thing.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Karma, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. We booked our table in advance, and the reservation process was smooth--they did take a credit card to hold the table, which was totally fine and gave us peace of mind for a busy night. The staff was incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to bring our own birthday cake, and at the end of the meal they brought it out with birthday candles for my daughter, which made her feel so special. That thoughtful touch really meant a lot to us. The food was excellent. We loved the sushi--fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The Yin Yang Chicken was a standout dish, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The drinks were also fantastic and paired really well with the food. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations for both food and drinks, which made ordering easy and enjoyable. Even though the restaurant was packed, the service never felt rushed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere and ambiance were lively, vibrant, and perfect for a celebration. You could really feel the energy of the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, Karma was the perfect spot for a birthday dinner--great food, great service, and a great vibe. We'll definitely be back for future celebrations and nights out. Highly recommend!

Asian Fusion cuisine located in the same plaza as the Burlington mall. This is a perfect place to go at anytime of day. I went with a group of 5 of us for dinner and anytime I go we do family style eating which is perfect. Food: we got the Peking duck to start which neverrr disappoints. We also got the pad Thai, Yuen yang spicy beef, black cod with citrus miso sauce, and the Mongolian beef. None come with rice so make sure to order some! They also have some great cocktails. I got the Andalusia which was the right amount of sweet and tangy. Service: the service was slow at first but definitely picked up once we started ordering. I like how anytime I'm here I never feel rushed to order or to finish my meal at a certain time. It gets busy at this location but the service is never rushed. Ambiance: They always have great music here. One time I went on the weekend and they were playing some hits! Felt like I was at a club while eating delicious food. They also have great decor inside. Always a wonderful time here and looking forward to coming back again!

    Wonton soup, no filling

I really can't figure out the fascination with this place. Reviews and recommendations from the Phantom Gourmet, friends and colleagues had me hyped. I gave it a test to see how everything was and I was unimpressed with everything. Duck Bao was dry. Duck is usually fatty, but you're served the thinnest slice and is served dry and chewy. Wonton soup had no filling. Sushi is basic or you pay $25 for some "special roll". My ancestors would cry. Servers are polite. But, I just can't say this was remotely okay.

Service was strange... hot tea came to table right away and was watered down and minimal tea flavor. I ordered a sesame chicken lunch special which came with soup egg drop soup, spring roll , white rice. I ordered a side of beef teriyaki . Waitress asked 1 or 2 teriyaki ? I assumed how many teriyaki sticks or small or large options? I said 2. Egg drop soup and spring roll shows up with duck sauce... egg drop soup was very good. Spring roll was excellent and filling was fresh. Then Next 2 orders of beef teriyaki with 4 sticks each show up??? She takes away my duck sauce from my spring roll... and leaves me with no duck sauce for my beef teriyaki? I now ask for duck sauce for teriyaki? She brings out a hot spicy sauce instead of duck sauce ? The sesame chicken was very good but more sweet and sour sauce flavor than sesame ? The beef teriyaki was extremely tough meat and I had to ask for a knife to cut up? No glass of water as I saw other tables getting water? I had to ask for water as tea wasn't doing it for me ? Then another duck sauce shows up I didn't ask for but glad it did arrive and was needed? Teriyaki had great flavor but tough like beef jerky and one order would have been enough to tolerate without the confusion of getting 2 orders and then also charged for two ? I found the service confusing and not a smooth outing? Then both the waitresses disappeared while waiting for the check . I asked for a glass of water at this point. No fortune cookie, pineapple or exit offering with the check? All in all I was confused.. but I would eat again here and assume staff trying ... next time I'll be very clear what 1 vs 2 means. The menu does look many good options and convenience with parking, location and nice dining room. I would have rate 4-5 stars but the teriyaki wasn't tender and too tough to enjoy.

I ordered the beef noodle soup ($15.95) and vegetarian leek pie ($9.95). Both came out within 10 minutes. The beef noodle soup had the thin flat wheat noodle ubiquitous in Taiwanese noodle soups. The soup was well-flavored with stock. Too many of these sorts of places over-rely on soy sauce, making a salty yet thin and underflavored bowl. Not here. I will nitpick and say that I would like larger chunks of beef, not the sort of cubed stew beef you see at the supermarket. The vegetarian leek pie (as it's called in the menu) is a pastry stuffed with chive (not leek), egg, and vermicelli. It was decently salted and hot. The portion sizes were quite satisfying as well. Closing thought - this place has, so far, the closest to what I would consider a decent bowl of Taiwanese beef noodle soup I've had in the Boston metro area so far. I'm always on the lookout for it

I saw Gene's house noodle soup came with carrots and green beans and some other miscellaneous veggies along with the housemade broth, noodles and pork. Great. Placed an order for that along with a tea egg. The soup smelled incredible and came out piping hot--I absolutely hate it when my hot food comes out just warm so points for that. It had a tempting aroma of cumin, cinnamon, star anise and other spices I'm not sure I could identify. The pork was tender and abundant, and the half-spicy broth was enjoyable. But as I dug deeper, it started getting weirder. Under the meat and a scattering of cilantro I did find the hand-pulled noodles. And I also found vegetables: perfect cubes of carrot and potato, plus peas and green beans that looked like they'd started out either frozen or canned. The veggie medley was not bad, per se, but I did find it odd. More like what I'd put in a pot pie filling than a noodle soup. Meanwhile I wasn't expecting the smattering of cilantro, and there was no noticeable "egg skin" as described on the menu. The whole dish felt just kind of random, not intentional. It was enough to fill me, and the tea egg was fantastic, but I didn't feel like the soup held up to the rave reviews of other dishes or my expectations based on the menu description. Would I go back? Maybe but I'd order something different.

Everytime we show up for dinner there is always alot of take out orders which is a good sign. We really enjoy the hand pulled noodles which is a must every time we done in. They are cooked perfectly and are packed with flavor of whichever dish you choose them with. We also really enjoy their dry hot pot, especially the shrimp dry pot. It's a stir fry kind of dish packed with several veggies like red peppers, broccoli and much more! The soups are also very good and rich in flavor and are perfect for a chilly day. Some of them are served in a large portion so they are perfect for sharing. You really can't go wrong with any dish! One that you had…read moreonce, one that eventually drifted apart due to whatever circumstances, and then finding each other again in the most unexpected moment and regaining that wonderful traction of a friendship all over again. Yes, I'm talking about food. It was once a tale of two spots. One in Watertown and one right here. As I resided in closer to the Watertown location since the move here, I frequented it and found solace in their dishes - absolute comfort food that was done very well. However, like all businesses, things change and eventually the business was sold. I knew there was a transition period and the owner and chefs stuck around to "train" the new owners. I hoped that the "good" would remain and that the new owners would continue the tradition of wonderfully curated dishes and keep the regulars coming back. Did it happen? No. I gave them about a month of repeated visits to gauge their level of culinary competence but it never came through. Long story short. I stopped going and that feeling of lost love began to fester. I didn't think much of it. I thought he had sold this place too since I've often overheard him saying how hard it was to run this business to his associates as he tried to satisfy every customer walking in the door or ringing the phone off the hook. So when I finally found a chance to be on this side of town, I decided to stop by and give it a shot. Maybe, maybe I thought, the new owners here would do a much better take on what they had taken over. What I didn't expect after placing an order was to see the owner walking out from the kitchen with dishes in hand to serve another table. Eyes wide open, I couldn't help but say, "HEY! Good to see you again." He in return showed the same look and smiled greeting me back with fondness and delight. That's when I spoke to the lady and asked more about the whole situation, wherein she explained how they sold the other place but kept this one. Regulars of the other spot now take the 15-20 minute drive just to come up here instead for a meal. I smiled. It made sense. They must have felt robbed when they went back after the place was sold. Food wasn't even remotely the same. Don't even talk about service either. Anyways, long story short, when the food came out. I felt this completeness return back to my soul. Here, once again, I felt home away from home. The food did me justice. The flavors impeccable. The culinary finesse was displayed thoroughly with each bite. So it is, once again, I found my long lost love again in Boston and can't wait to be here every single Sunday for a wonderful special meal that teleports me back to what "Home Tastes" like.

Ok let me see, I will start with the good parts of what I did like. 1. Egg foo young (vegetable).... This was probably the best part of the meal along with the gravy (although slightly thick). 2. Crispy chicken wings, I got these for my boyfriend because he loves chicken wings, it comes with 5 wings in the order, when I noticed that he only ate 2 out of the 5 I knew there was a problem because he loves wings and barely have any complaints. When I asked him what was wrong he said no flavor just wings fried. 3. Hot and sour soup, well the good part about the soup was it had a bunch of items in the broth and not just all broth, which is a plus, the only down side is the soup was way to sweet and I didn't taste any spice at all. 4. Chicken fried rice, I was happy when I noticed it was brown, the last few places I went to the fried rice was white or beige so I thought I was on to something here, unfortunately the chicken in the rice was NOT chicken, first it was a weird texture and I never seen chicken in a long string shaped either. If I had to guess I would say that it was tofu, but i know better than to even confuse it as tofu as I am a huge tofu person. 5. The beef and broccoli, well let's say I ate all the broccoli and left the beef in the container.
