Best Chinese food hands down I have never got a dish that I didn't like and while you're there definitely try Mai Tai

Not sure why it look us so long to try China Sky, but so glad we did. The restaurant is very large with tons of seating. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is comprehensive. And, the food is delicious. We usually sit together as a family in the main dining hall. But everyone was out of town one day, so I ended up sitting at the bar. Here is my hot and sour soup! The bartender was very friendly and he knew everyone! It was like his group of regulars - which tells you they enjoy coming back. There was also a ton of takeout business, which I can see us doing in the future. Happy that China Sky is in our town and look forward to being back soon. read more

A wonderful place to bring friends and family for Chinese food and sushi! We got an assorted platter of rolls and sashimi, every piece was so fresh and delicious. My favorite was the shrimp tempura roll with eel on top and the seafood salad. Crab rangoons: crispy exterior with a delicious cream cheese and imitation crab filling. Can't go wrong with these, they're always a crowd pleaser. Tangerine Beef: a MUST order from ChinaSky!! Quality beef deep fried to perfection in a sweet and savory sauce. So addictive! Sesame Shrimp: ginormous shrimp deep fried in a tasty sesame sauce. Staff is very friendly and food comes out quickly. read more

I ordered take out veg lo mein and hot and sour soup, food was good going down however later in the night I had some major belly issues and wondered if it was from my meal. There may have been other factors but having a rough night is enough reason to not want to try again. Limited parking spots, I lucked out with a spot out front but its in the center of town so spots are limited but I think there are lots. I asked if they had Keno but they do not. They are on some of the delivery apps maybe if I'm feeling like giving it a second shot I will. read more

Took my boys here as a spur of the moment place for dinner. We were promptly seated on a Saturday night with no wait. One child got the seafood udon, which had exactly 2 shrimp, 2 crab sticks, and 2 scallops. Felt cheated on the portions for the cost of the dish. My other child had the chicken and steak udon, and bit into a whole lot of fat and gristle. I had the general Tso's chicken, which was fine. A lovely traditional restaurant in the heart of Winchester- a local staple. The American-Chinese food was just OK- nothing particularly creative or unique. Service was indifferent at best. The Mai-Tai though was delicious and I noticed quite a few others with it- so maybe a specialty. read more

The only Chinese sit down restaurant with linen napkins. I always get the shrimp in garlic sauce with vegetables. The shrimp is cooked correctly and jumbo. Veggies are cooked just right. Service is also always prompt. Highly recommend. read more

Just came back from the hospital. I was told I got fried rice syndrome. I'm not going to describe the utter pain I experienced, but I encourage readers to look up what fried rice syndrome is. I didn't take any food in a doggie bag. This was purely how the food was handled. Ergo, the rice I had was old and left out at room temperature for too long, causing a very toxic bacteria to grow. (This happens with noodles too). I wish they cared about their customers and followed sanitary practices. Because no one should go through what I did. read more

My mother and I had an amazing experience! The food was very good and it got to our table very quickly. Most of the drinks are very good except for the sprite. It just didn't taste like a sprite to me. I wouldn't recommend the sprite but everything else was delicious and they did have other great drinks and food! read more

Just doing my part in downgrading this places rating! China Sky has gone down hill by a wide margin, yes they used to be good. Extremely disrespectful service (twice in a row, we've wanted to love this place). Awful, rushy, and entitled service, and the food is absolutely mediocre and questionably cooked. First of all, I have been a long time customer of China Sky, so when I had this experience I was shocked!! We ordered shrimp lomein and the kitchen accidentally made beef lomein. The waiter came out to tell us beef was accidentally made( as if I should care) and I said I did t want it I wanted my original order of shrimp lomein. He said ok and went back to tell the kitchen. The shrimp lomein came out looking conspicuously small, I thought it was strange but said nothing. We packed the leftover lomein up, brought it home and found small chopped up pieces of beef in it. Obviously, they didn't remake it, they picked the beef out that they could see and with it apparently came a bunch of lomein pieces. For a restaurant to charge the prices they do and they can't even make one of the cheapest plates from scratch over again, to me is crazy. I can't believe they would rather risk their reputation than to put a little extra work fixing what they messed up in the first place! read more

I don't know why I moved to Massachusetts if I was going to be so picky about the food, but alas...I went looking Sweet and Sour chicken up to my NY standards and China Sky did not disappoint. ~Food~ Full disclosure --- I stick to the same three things when I get Chinese: 1-Sweet and sour chicken, 2-Sesame chicken 3-Egg rolls. This review will be for sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls. (check out my review on Peppercorn house for amazing sesame chicken) They are good...not great but good. Someone less picky than me would likely give them five stars but I'm giving four because I've had better (both in NY and MA). What I really like though, is that they are consistency. While it isn't the best Chinese food I've ever had, I can trust that its always going to taste like I expect it to. There are other Chinese spots I enjoy more but every now and then they have a very off night. China Sky always seems to be on their A game! ~Price~ I would say there are right in the middle price range of what one would expect from Chinese takeout in the area. It's ok. It's Chinese food, but it's not amazing Chinese food. Inside the ambiance is nice but it is really overpriced. I love Fen Wang which is the same price or more, but in that case it's worth it. China Sky is meh food, bland, but with exceptionally high prices. I don't really order from them anymore, if I am going to have high end Chinese, I go elsewhere where the food is much better and if I am going for just trashy americanized Chinese food take out, I go elsewhere where the prices are reasonable. I WOULD eat here, but I imagine if it's because every other restaurant is crowded and they could seat us, etc. I wouldn't go here deliberately, too many other choices. read more

The food is pretty good for those who are not sensitive to food issues. We used to go here fairly regularly but do not plan on returning. The owner is knowledgeable about what can be GF but the rest of the staff is NOT. We do not recommend going here if there are serious food sensitivities. The staff can be passive aggressive if there are any changes to their expectations. One child member of our party was given a wheat noodle and told it was gluten free. What happened shortly afterward was not pleasant for the child. read more

Had a gathering with friends today it's a great space and the restaurant is very clean there is no parking lot but plenty of street parking nearby. The menu is pretty standard comparing to any other Chinese restaurant but it also has Japanese foods. We ordered the Love Boat to share. It's a good variety of nigiri sushi, like the combination of sushi, maki and sashimi selection. Think the quality of the fish is decent as well. The Futon Maki is also decent, hot and sour soup has a lot of ingredients and tasted pretty similar to the ones you will find in Chinatown. Appreciate the good service and white table cloths. My friends mentioned the Mai Thai drinks are super strong which is a good thing in our case read more

It's not bad, not in the least. But yet it's still only a 3 star place. The sesame chicken was ok, but seemed to lack flavor. But the side broccoli is served cold! Not even warm at all. Like it's prepped ahead of time then chilled for quick service. The General Tso chicken has good flavor, but not really any kick on the spice. I didn't need to even wipe my nose let alone blow it. He told me no, no, no not acceptable and would not leave the table until I put down additional money on the table. While the food and ambience is excellent and we consider ourselves as regular customers. A service problem occurred recently as we were picking up $ 230 worth of food for a small christening party. My wife went into the restaurant to pick up the food as I tried to find a nearby parking space. The box of food was heavy as are the large doors to the restaurant. My wife asked the hostess twice if she could hold the door and after getting a look that could kill she finally complied. Not much to ask in my opinion. Tried this place at about 9pm on a Saturday. No wait, as you can imagine. Pros: Great food. Dumplings were firm and yummy. The wontons in the soup were as well. I hate soggy wontons. The chicken and broccoli was made with white meat chicken, in a flavorful brown sauce. Not too salty and didn't overpower the dish. No mystery meat here. We also had the moo shu pork. Loved that as well, although the plum sauce wasn't as good as I've had at other places. Cons: service was not great at all. Asked for things that never came. Water glasses empty, had to ask repeatedly for a refill. parking looks tricky, unless I missed a lot. We were fine to street park because it was late. Overall: Loved the food. Phenomenal variety of Asian foods at reasonable prices. I got sashimi, 3 pieces of fish in each order, and my colleague got fried rice, stir fry, and we split dumplings to start. Top notch food, efficient service, nice Chinese owners. The food feels cleaner than your typical "chinese takeout" place because it is not just takeout (though pick up is available) - it is a proper sitdown Chinese restuarant, like full banquet-size, hosting venue type restaurant, so there are also some more authentically prepared offerings on the menu in addition to the standard Americanized "Chinese takeout" dishes. I was staying nearby on a trip recently and ordered pickup from them twice: each time the food was ready in record time and was delicious and substantial without giving me greasy after feelings. Surprisingly some of the best springs rolls ive ever had - perfectly crisp shattering shell, not greasy, nice filling - just good execution. Each time picking up, it seemed like the white population of the town filled the front room as return customers too. Winchester is lucky to have a Chinese restuarant of this quality. read more

Unfortunately the worst Chinese we had in US. Everything was tasteless, the dumpling was only dough, nothing was close to real chinese. We did not want to leave a comment but after we had the lunch (in fact dumped everything to trash and had something else) we called the location to tell our comments, all we heard is why they make everything their way. Sorry guys, yours is not our way. We hate to leave negative reviews but I believe you guys deserve it.. read more
