    Sneaky Advertising

Very disappointing and misleading advertising. The sign prominently advertises "Buck A Shuck," but the critical detail that the promotion is only available on the 1st Wednesday of the month is written so small that it's nearly impossible to notice. I only realized the restriction after arriving, which felt like a bait-and-switch. If a promotion has significant limitations, those limitations should be displayed as clearly as the offer itself. Customers shouldn't have to hunt for fine print on a sidewalk sign. The business may technically disclose the restriction, but the way it is presented is misleading and resulted in a frustrating experience.

Second try here and it was a full 180 from my first. Had a nice evening here on a rainy day outside. The inside was very cute and clean. We were seated and put in some orders, I'm very grateful for all the gluten free friendly options! I'm celiac and I felt very safe. Every dish for me they said "gluten free". We started with the RI Calamari. It was crispy, some spice and was delicious! Huge huge portion! I thought it was odd to have the marinara at the bottom but still wonderful. For our entrees my mom had the buttermilk chicken. She said it was incredible and one of the best things she ate on this trip. I kept it light with the seafood trio. Smaller portion but very delicious, the scallops were perfect and sweet! Everything was wonderful and I'm so glad for the opportunity to try this place again.

Great location. The venue had plenty of space of and also has an outdoor area. My server Eric was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the Brussels sprouts Caesar salad and ginger scallion shrimp burger. Food was delicious and flavorful. This was a great place to dine and I would certainly come back when I come back to town.

Met friends for a birthday celebration. A couple of us early birds had a drink at the bar--the manager came by, asked if we were waiting to be seated, and delivered an "extra" platter of fried calamari! WIN-WIN! I do love the vibe here and have come a few times in the past. Food and drinks are always delish (which makes up for the terrible parking shortage in this shopping center). Our server, Jeri, was super attentive and checked back often to our little secluded alcove section. The crème brûlée with pineapple compote was the best thing I've eaten all month!

I came here with a large party for a birthday dinner. I mentioned to our waiter that it was my friend's birthday, but not a single staff member acknowledged it. On top of that, we were still charged for the desserts. Most places I've been to will usually comp a dessert for the birthday guest. Small gestures like that go a long way. As for the food: Highlights * Lobster Maki Rolls * Lobster Spaghetti * Mussels Needs Improvement * Tempura Haddock Tacos: The sweet chili slaw was overwhelming and made the haddock soggy. Serving the sauce on the side would help keep the tempura crisp. * Calamari: There was so much marinara that the calamari at the bottom became soggy. * Crispy Dragon Shrimp: Our least favorite dish. The shrimp wasn't crispy and had very little batter. Our waiter was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was great, but the food itself didn't leave a lasting impression.

Amazing service, my server Shannon really made our whole experience phenomenal. I highly recommend the brussel sprout Caesar salad and the mussels small plate. The ambiance and entire look of the restaurant is gorgeous, high ceilings, beautiful furnishings, also teamwork and respect among the staff. From what o observed the senior staff in charge enjoy working together and the younger less experienced and less professional staff get away with their work because they are led by good leaders giving them a chance to learn. This is how restaurants should run.

Great plaza where this spot is located. Nice location near an open back area with live music too. Plenty of parking. The restaurant was well lit, spacious, and busy. The host and our server were both very friendly. The food came out quick and was delicious. We had a variety of food from calamari appetizer to lobster roll to fish and chips to tacos to fish dinner. It was all very good. They also have a sushi bar and raw bar. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the server forgot to bring me my drink that I ordered. In general it was a great experience and we would go back.

We sat in the enclosed patio on a beautiful sunny day. Our server was amazing, very attentive. We got lobster fries, lobster roll and coleslaw. The drinks were fantastic! The sangria with watermelon purée was the first watermelon drink iv actually enjoyed, it's real watermelon not the fake syrup that tastes weird. Definitely going to go back!

The restaurant is located in a busy shopping plaza, you may need to park a short distance from the restaurant. The restaurant has a modern vibe and a reservation is highly recommended. Prices are reasonable. This seafood restaurant does sushi very well. The tuna poke is a generously sized and the shrimp chips complements it well. The tuna is fresh and is loaded with flavors with the wasabi mayo and sweet tamari. The pressed spicy oshi tuna is amazing and really creative. This would be the dish I come back to. The shiso leaf adds a nice interesting flavor and it all goes well together.

My husband and myself went there to celebrate a wedding anniversary after seeing it featured on the Phantom Gourmet and we had a very tasty meal. We shared the Surf salad and it was big enough for both of us to have a nice helping of. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with pouring the drinks of water we kept needed filling and our meals came in a timely manner. The atmosphere was dimly lit but comfortable to see around us and we had good seats where the noise from those around us were not too loud. We didn't have to ask where the restroom was because we could see the sign for it. We will definitely return to try another tasty meal.

Enjoyed this place so much. I have been endlessly been craving sushi for months now and this place did not disappoint. The star of the meal was the Pressed Spicy Oshi Tuna. It wasn't in traditional sushi roll form. It was on a leaf with seasonings. It was the perfect blend of sweet and salty and savory and spicy, crunchy and chewy. The rainbow roll was fine. The poke tuna was very good. We loved the blueberry dessert too. The service was great. I highly suggest reservations on Saturday and Sundays.

Beautiful and spacious restaurant. Great atmosphere. We were sat at a table with a big open window, so the view was great. The service was excellent. We got the crab cake, calamari, dynamite roll, spicy salmon roll, lobster roll, baked New England seafood trio, and the chocolate cake. All were amazing! Highly recommend this place!

Went to Surf in Woburn last night. I wanted to love it. I really did. The space is really cool. The parking? Not so much. But luckily, on a Tuesday, it was really quiet around the area when we went for a 630 reservation. We did not need a 630 reservation on a Tuesday. There were probably six tables filled. Catherine was our waitress. She was really nice. Really helpful. Attentive, but not in our face. That's kind of we are the wow factor ended. My brother got a mai tai. He said it tasted like gasoline and actually had to send it back. The first for him he said. He has never had to return a drink before., He ordered a white wine instead. The waitress came back and wanted feedback as to what he didn't like about the mai tai, so she could tell the bartender. Which I thought was nice, but a little more than needed. I got the sangria. It talks about a watermelon purée. honestly? It was very sweet, but very, very weak. I would try it again because I just think it was a bad pour. We ordered a crabcake for the appetizer, and Catherine talked us into getting to because she said they were small. When they came to the table? We could've shared one. And at $20 apiece.( or might have been $18) a hefty for two appetizers. He got the New England seafood trio? I think that's what it was called. He said it was good, it came in something that looked like a pie plate lol. However, I thought the portions of each item were on the small side. But that's just me. I got the lobster Kristina. Wanted to treat myself for something fun. It was the middle of a 1.25 lobster. And some sort of sauce with rice and asparagus. Was it good? Yes. The lobster taste great although it definitely wasn't anything more than a 1 pound lobster. And if it was? It was definitely a new shell. Because I didn't see any claw meat at all. Except for one that was teeny tiny. A good amount of rice. Too much rice. Which was sloppy because whatever the sauce was that they put over over the lobster, made the rice swim in it. The flavor was good though. Three long large stocks of asparagus. Cooked well I might add. When I go back? No. It was one and done. I'm glad I went because people have been raving about it, but it just tasted... Corporate?

I do not want to sound impolite, but I have been to Lobster Claw multiple times (as my parents and aunt enjoy it) and each time, the food has tasted like nothing but oil and the essence of the fryer itself. I've tried many items on the menu, from their haddock, chicken, fries, crab, etc - yet it all shares a similar oily, almost unclean taste. It lacks seasoning in general, so much so that my sister and I needed to season our meals when we got home, and even that didn't help fully. It also isn't cheap, which makes sense, it's seafood, but expensive prices for incredibly mediocre food simply isn't worth it. A majority of the food tastes the same here and is both unforgettably bland and memorably dissapointing at the same time. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for unique flavor or good prices.
