I'm pretty consistent in ordering the athena bowl with rare salmon, and they always get it right (not everyone does!). They also have great wings and burgers. Also great bartenders and servers, and they outdid themselves recently when we ordered takeout, usual fare, and the salmon was overcooked (gasp). When I called them to let them know, not that i really expected them to do anything, it seems the order-taker had erroneously said "well cooked," hence the clear error. Parts were of random sizes so I think they deboned the poultry for them. Perfectly breaded and deep fried. Sauce was thick and sticky. Caesar was good. Homemade croutons. Plenty of cheese. Had a great experience here recently. The service was a stand out. I don't remember our waitress' name but she was awesome. Enjoyed the food as well. Great variety in the menu - made it easy for everyone in the family to find something they liked. The space is large with both indoor and outdoor seating. We did get attacked by a bee outside, so we switched to indoor seating with no issues. Wish there was a Rev in the south shore. read more

I'm GF, so my boyfriend was very excited to find this restaurant. I was excited looking at their menu offerings. We drove from Medford to try the restaurant. For apps, we ordered the bang bang shrimp and cauliflower. The bang bang shrimp was the best thing we had. I do think the shrimp could be more crispy and I wish these were offered as tacos with corn tortillas. The cauliflower was pretty good as well, but I wish there was more cauliflower for the price. The sauce was my favorite part. I got the fried chicken sandwich, which was okay. I've had a GF fried chicken sandwich at tavern on the square, which is very crispy, and I expected this to be the same. There wasn't much breading or chicken. The side salad was simple but good and a great size. My boyfriend got a burger, which was nothing to write home about. The side of truffle fries were good and much better and warmer than the fries that came with my boyfriend's burger. The food was okay, but not worth the drive. This was our first time going and it was not what I expected at all. Cons: Our waiter was a little rude and didn't seem very friendly with us like I saw the other one but other than that everything else was great. Pros: The place was very busy at 230 pm. The kids menu is super cute because you got to pick your own pasta or your own pizza and pick what sauce you want and toppings which was super cute. I've never seen that anywhere before. Sunday Lunch Not my usual kind of place, but we were in the area and craving a burger. - The Rev's burger was delicious. I would prefer a more toasted, but it was still a solid bun. Fries are standard, nothing special. - Butternut squash soup: I prefer a savory butternut squash soup. This one was too sweet for my taste but it still had good flavor. - Aesthetics of the place has a tad of that restaurant chain vibe (the place is not a chain) which I didn't love. - Convenient that I can easily pay with apple pay/CC by just scanning bar code on the receipt. I put the most weight on the burger, so gave the place 4 stars. I suppose for the whole experience it would be more 3.5 stars, but I am sucker for rounding up :). read more

Have been a few times . Today as we entered my daughter brought her ice coffee in to finish and they told her she couldn't bring it in. That was the first thing . I like Rev a lot. The environment is perfect, though not quiet it's nice. Wait staff is great, friendly and attentive. Food is not as great as it should be. I've been a few times lately. They have a farmhouse pizza that is wonderful, my favorite item on the menu. They have a Mac and cheese with whatever add in you want, and that was fine, not fantastic though. They sandwiches seem good, a friend of mine gets a chicken club (called something else) and loves it. It looked good. Burgers are pretty good my friends said, also. Reason it is only getting 3 stars, is that the food is not anything special, and many items are just not that good. But atmosphere is wonderful. read more

I got the garlic parm chicken tenders and they super good, 8/10 in my opinion. Also got the caesar salad which was very yummy, just wish they have a bit more dressing so 9/10. We ordered the classic burger and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, both were delicious and she even had the kitchen split them so we could both have a half on each plate.
