This is an awesome brewery. Friendly staff, lots of open space, and of course great beer. I came by here to try the nitro cold brew coffee stout in collaboration with local cafe Crave and I was not disappointed. Stouts aren't my favorite kind of beer as they can be too bitter for my liking, but this one was smooth and flavorful. The additional selection of beers intrigued me, particularly the spruce tip IPA, as I have not seen that sold outside of Alaska. I didn't try Old Planters' version this time but I intend to next time I visit. Prices are pretty good for what you get and you can try a beer before you buy if you ask. They have growlers and cans if you want to take some beer home. FYI they only take cards for payment, although they have jars for cash tips. Street parking is abundant on Rantoul Street so even if you have to walk a bit you shouldn't have trouble finding a spot.

Can't believe this brewery only has 7 reviews so far. Came on a Saturday night and luckily there was an available patio seating out doors. It's first come first serve no reservation but the turnover is pretty fast. Friendly staff and best of all awesome beer selections! IPA, hazy IPA, DIPA, sours and a few on a light side as well. I had two different variety of the Rhino IPA and they were serious quality beers that you must try! Hope to come back again soon.

This is the beer menu from the first weekend in August 2019. Very good selection.

This is exactly the type of place that Beverly needed and the owners have delivered! Great atmosphere, great setting, and great beer. Tried 6 different beers (flight + 2 additional) and all were great based on their own style. The price was around the mid 30s and I think very fair for the quality. Although there is no food served the business does partner with local restaurants/food vendors to do frequent pop up food sales. This pop up food style is great! Of course you can also bring your own food or order take out with delivery to the location. I will return! Great place!

Their breakfast, namely the eggs benedict is excellent, and the bloody mary's are fab. I think their soups stand out too- always ask about the soup du jour! i can't believe i haven't made it to kitchen table sooner! wow, what a delightful experience. when…read morei walked in, every single staff member smiled at me. all of them. i've never had that experience before, i was so excited to finally eat here. i love farm-to-table restaurants with local ingredients, it's my favorite. there are 3 different seating areas, i sat at the bar for a solo date. parker is an excellent bartender, and although i came in for the steak tips, i couldn't decide between steak or chicken for my first visit. parker said both are great but between those two, the chicken is his favorite. there was a couple seated next to me that said they come all the time, and anything you order here, will be completely satisfying. i thought they may just be saying that, but truly after my first time here, i believe it wholeheartedly. i ordered their roasted chicken, a marinated, semi-boneless half chicken with sautéed spring spinach & vegetables, and mashed maine potatoes. bread service 9.9/10 roasted chicken 10/10 spring vegetables 10/10 mashed potatoes 9.8/10 but it's better if you do cocktail 10/10 first, the "but it's better if you do," is fantastic. not my typical go-to type of drink, and i was more than pleasantly surprised and loved it. privateer white rum, sour plum liqueur, simple, peychauds with a dehydrated lime. "It's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality" - i picked it because of this quote on the menu, and i forgot how much i used to love p!atd. i thought to myself, "i've heard this before somewhere..." i loved the bread & roasted garlic butter, however on a little cutting board it was difficult not to make a mess. i guess that's part of what makes it "kitchen table." it is the perfect, round sourdough loaf with the most delicious butter. the roasted chicken was prepared flawlessly. juicy and tender inside, and a perfect crispy skin, just wow. i absolutely loved the selection of spring vegetables, along with the sherry sauce; sautéed spinach, carrots, mushrooms, and onions. the mashed potatoes were perfect once i added extra salt, extra pepper & whipped it up with more of that garlic butter to my liking, however it was prepared great. i requested it without bacon butter, how it typically comes prepared, and the garlic butter is a great substitute. everything was impeccable. i travel to boston often just for food, because i find that the food in beverly, as a whole, is just not up to par, even with all of the marketing. kitchen table is different than any other restaurant in beverly, and now i don't have to travel so far to get the most delicious meals! i am honestly blown away by how amazing my meal was, and i highly recommend kitchen table to anyone in the north shore, and i'd even say it's completely worth going out of your way for. whether solo, a romantic or friend date, or with a small or large group, kitchen table is here to serve (one of the best meals you've had in a long time). there were some other ladies at the bar that were extremely hospitable and helpful as well, i didn't catch their names this time. i wanted to take some pictures at the end of my meal, at closing time when it had emptied out, and molly encouraged me to take all the pictures i needed. just fantastic service by all of the staff. i couldn't be happier with my first experience at kitchen table. here's to many more! ambiance: 4.9/5 food: 5/5 drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5 kitchen table: 5/5

The burger is THAT good…read more Came here on a Saturday in October. Party of 2 during lunch time and we got seated in 15 minutes. Had to try the burger cause I heard about it online. Oh. My. God. The burger really is that good. Hands down the best burger I've ever tasted. It was juicy but not pink or red. The jam was the perfect amount- enough so i could taste it but it did not overwhelm the burger (coming from a hard core jam lover). Despite the juiciness from the burger, the bun was not soggy. Fries were pretty good. Cole slaw was nothing to write home about. We tried going back for a SECOND BURGER on a Monday but their hours are different so we couldn't. So good I didn't even get a picture. If anyone was to ask me a restaurant to recommend in Salem, this would be it.

We had the nachos (do yourself a favor and buy only a half order because it's HUGE). They were so good and I didn't even have enough room for more food after that. Service was attentive and good! I got the "Summer Fling" cocktail and it was truly one of the best cocktails I've had in quite sometime. I had a couple of them and honestly, could have continued throwing them down if I knew I didn't need to be in decent shape the next day. The live music was fantastic too. All-in-all, still a cozy and great vibe here. I hope to go there again soon!

This could be the best bar staff in the area. Absolutely personable, friendly, and cranks out…read moredrinks like no one's business. It's the drinker's bar. If you're looking for some classy shit, go to, um, anywhere else. Not to say this place isn't clean. A dive bar doesn't mean dirty. It means local, comfortable and a place to get together over some stiff drinks. But I would disagree (previous review) that it isn't for outsiders. I would say outsiders are welcome, as long as you know what you're getting into. No food (aside from popcorn!), but a serious alcohol selection, Keno, a jukebox, and good atmosphere. Don't be a bar snob coming here. As far as the year ago negative review by Robyn: Let's point out some things to anyone that goes anywhere on the North Shore: there are three large colleges within a 15 or less mile radius, with a serious fake ID epidemic and out-of-states are much more of a liability than they are profitable. Bars implement strict policies to avoid this. Good job to the bartender for doing his job. It sucks that it killed your night, but hopefully this will shed some light.

Dive Dive Dive Lucky…read moreDog in Beverly, MA, delivers a textbook dive bar experience--it is a gritty, no-nonsense local hangout that gives you exactly what you pay for. Tucked away on Cabot Street, the bar scores points for its cheap, heavy-handed pours, free popcorn, and surprisingly impressive selection of whiskeys. There are plenty of local characters with thick North Shore accents to keep things entertaining while you wait your turn at the dartboards. However, the "five-star dive bar" label means you have to take the bad with the good: the interior is dark, cramped, and carries a textbook rough-around-the-edges vibe that borders on being an eyesore. The crowd is heavily made up of tightly-knit regulars, which can make it feel a bit exclusive or tough to break into if you are just passing through, and the bare-bones snack food options mean you should probably eat a real meal before you arrive. Ultimately, it is a perfectly average, unapologetic watering hole if you want an affordable beer in a low-key setting, but it is not a destination spot for a night out. Thanks
