I got the Salem Ale, a helles style, in a half pour- I love that they offer this smaller size since their other glasses are absolutely massive! This was an easy drinking, smooth beer with low hops, just what I wanted for a hot summer day when I only had limited time to spend here. My drinking partner also enjoyed their selection, and we really enjoyed the location. Such is the case with Tree House Brewing Company started in Brimfield, MA and moved to Charlton, MA. Their legend is built of the juicy New England India Pale Ales (NEIPAs) like Julius, Green, and Haze. People had me try the cans of these before and not surprising to me, I didn't like them. That didn't stop me from going to the newer Tewksbury location to try it out. This is the old clubhouse at the Tewksbury Country Club, which is outright beautiful with wood paneling and designs everywhere. Its massive halls are filled with golfer bros, work outings, and generations of families. My measuring stick at a new brew spot is to try at least four beers I like. With Tree House's massive selection of flavors including sours, ales, pilsner, stouts, seltzers, and distilled spirits, it was not hard to find. Even though the servers looked at me strangely when I removed the entire IPA page from my line of vision, they did help me find the less hop-forward beers.
