Came here for a birthday dinner. The ambiance is cozy and great. Customer service was phenomenal, our waitress was funny. There's street parking and after a specific time, you can park in the lot behind the building. Drinks were great. We ordered the following - Apps: Nachos (cheesy and crispy chips), Garlic Parm Tenders (yummm, wished we ordered more or ordered another flavor), and Sweet Chili Calamari (everyone enjoyed) Entree: Meals were good. Though those that had mashed potatoes as a side, wished there's a bit more seasoning to it. I had the pizza, the toppings was perfect though wasn't a fan of the crust. Personally it was a bit thin and felt like it was grainy. Dessert: brownie fudge sundae which was delish :) Overall I recommend due to service and the highlight were the apps. Next time I'll try a different entree.

This was our second visit to the Post. We stumbled across it late one night in our way back from shopping. We remembered it and purposely looked it up to return. We had fish and chips. The fish was great. The fries are more like homemade potato chips, which is a change from two years ago. If you like traditional Cole slaw, be warned that the Napa Cole Slaw is very spicy.

Great place to catch the game and enjoy a beverage. Pizza is yummy and has good variety, menu is large. We would visit again to try more menu items.

Food and service was awful. Chowder had no taste. Fish was dry and tasted very bland. One bartender is clueless. Don't bother going.

I just met her, but I felt like I was coming home. I waited for my friend to arrive & a couple bar seats to open up, and there were about two dozen people who came in after me while the wait was predicted to be an hour since most had just been seated, so they left. I wish they waited because it did clear up after about 30-40 minutes, but it was hard to predict on a Thursday at 7:30pm during a random downpour. I would encourage anyone to try The Burn, and to wait if needed. It's updated nicely, a bit cozy yet spacious when you're seated. Jess, our bartender, is also very welcoming and hospitable. I ordered a Gold Rush: ghost tequila, cointreau, pineapple, jalapeño & lime; I recall telling my friend, "this is exactly how I wish all my drinks tasted." I ordered the meatballs appetizer, and they got the haddock sandwich. The fries were excellent, and the meatballs were great. My friend loved their sandwich, fresh local haddock of course. Jess helped me make my decision between 3 options and it was perfect for my tastes and appetite of the evening. gold rush 10/10 meatballs 10/10 The Burn has excellent food & service, an elevated casual vibe, and warm, welcoming service. I will return here, and highly recommend it. They are located at the Blackburn building built in 1900, and just celebrated their 1st anniversary. She made me a yummy espresso martini, and let my husband borrow her cheaters (glasses) so he could read the menu! When we left, the hostess came after us thinking we had left our eye glasses on the bar. What a sweetie. We told her they're Aprils!

We went back again last week and must have caught them on an "off" night: we think the usual chef was off because it was obvious the person in the kitchen didn't know what they were doing. All three of us had salad as our starters which were OK: large but were already dressed with an abundance of dressing. My companions both ordered Ruebens. The meat was tough as shoe leather. It might have been ok if the cook had used a meat slicer to cut the meat in thin slices but it was sliced in two thick chunks, making it impossible to eat. The server said that ppl were always sending it back...hmm...The server/bar tender was very nice and took those off the bill. A meatball appetizer was ordered and was very good. I had chicken wings as my second course (well done) and they were OK. My S-I-L had an order but didn't specify "well done", so hers were chewy and not so good. We were very disappointed in the food but thought the server did a great job.

The vibe was better than it had been in a while. I was greeted with a welcoming presence and was taken care of quite quickly. I was stuck between choosing the Nate's vegan chili and the FIG sandwhich. Nate himself actually came out and reccomended both, but we decided on the fig sandwich. Boy, was this a delight! The brioche bun was perfect, the flavor combo was genius to be honest. He even came back around to check in on me and how it was. (Give this man a raise lol). He took a moment to express gratitude and speak of his investment in the place and making it grow. Did I hear batting cages are coming next door??
