16" Queen Margherita (V)

I don't usually love American food, but our party enjoyed everything we tried here, from the pizza with pesto to the fish sandwich and Brussel Mac and cheese. Food came promptly and waitress provided excellent service. Restaurant was definitely on the noisy / loud side. Lots of parking in the lot.

When I tell you the lemon caper chicken would be my death row meal, I mean I want to BATHE in it! The service is always amazing, kind, attentive and fast! We love it here and will be back!

A couple miles off the Yankee hwy Plenty of parking. It will not be a problem. Clean, bright, big windows, a couple big TVs above the bar. Clean restroom at my visit. Service was immediate. Friendly and seems to try hard even though it was busy at 7pm on a random Wednesday. Best Buffalo chix tenders I've ever had. Bit of a snob about em and Im not kidding. Chix seemed fresh. Parts were of random sizes so I think they deboned the poultry for them. Perfectly breaded and deep fried. Sauce was thick and sticky. Caesar was good. Homemade croutons. Plenty of cheese. Two things, ask for pepper - no. Lettuce was room temp. Cold is better...actual dressing was homemade. You can taste the anchovies. REV burger was great. Perfectly cooked..bun was soft. Meaty mushy and onion paste. Fries - well, kind of out of a box, but perfectly cooked and seasoned. Dinner for 2. One appy, burger and large salad. 2 fountain drinks. $70. Go.

Had a great experience here recently. The service was a stand out. I don't remember our waitress' name but she was awesome. Enjoyed the food as well. Great variety in the menu - made it easy for everyone in the family to find something they liked. The space is large with both indoor and outdoor seating. We did get attacked by a bee outside, so we switched to indoor seating with no issues. Wish there was a Rev in the south shore.

rev kitchen & bar is a casual restaurant that has some great fried food options. jenny was our server, she was kind and always attentive. we started with the bang bang shrimp which i loved, but i wish they had four lettuce wraps so it could be evenly split for two people. the crispy cauliflower bowl had the perfect ingredients but the cauliflower had too much batter, and the crispy haddock sandwich covered in potato chips was the perfect sandwich minus the soggy bottom. bang bang shrimp 9/10 crispy cauli bowl 7.5/10 crispy haddock sandwich 9/10 they brought our check and 2 drinks we didn't order were included, we noticed and it was fixed, but check your check just in case! ambiance: 2.5/5 food: 4.2/5 service: 4/5 rev kitchen & bar: 3.5/5

Bang Bang Shrimp (GF)

I'm GF, so my boyfriend was very excited to find this restaurant. I was excited looking at their menu offerings. We drove from Medford to try the restaurant. For apps, we ordered the bang bang shrimp and cauliflower. The bang bang shrimp was the best thing we had. I do think the shrimp could be more crispy and I wish these were offered as tacos with corn tortillas. The cauliflower was pretty good as well, but I wish there was more cauliflower for the price. The sauce was my favorite part. I got the fried chicken sandwich, which was okay. I've had a GF fried chicken sandwich at tavern on the square, which is very crispy, and I expected this to be the same. There wasn't much breading or chicken. The side salad was simple but good and a great size. My boyfriend got a burger, which was nothing to write home about. The side of truffle fries were good and much better and warmer than the fries that came with my boyfriend's burger. The food was okay, but not worth the drive. Next time we will try the rev burger spot with all GF offerings, which we hope is worth the drive.

Sunday Lunch Not my usual kind of place, but we were in the area and craving a burger. - The Rev's burger was delicious. I would prefer a more toasted, but it was still a solid bun. Fries are standard, nothing special. - Butternut squash soup: I prefer a savory butternut squash soup. This one was too sweet for my taste but it still had good flavor. - Aesthetics of the place has a tad of that restaurant chain vibe (the place is not a chain) which I didn't love. - Convenient that I can easily pay with apple pay/CC by just scanning bar code on the receipt. I put the most weight on the burger, so gave the place 4 stars. I suppose for the whole experience it would be more 3.5 stars, but I am sucker for rounding up :).

We ordered a few things to split and went off of what we saw at other tables. So many people had the pizzas so we had to give it a go. The French onion soup was fantastic and rich. The Ceaser salad was good, and not too intense but it was garlicky and had homemade hand ripped croutons. We were starving so we ordered the Brussels sprouts on a whim and it was incredible! The umami flavor and sou sauce ginger aioli with the pickled onions was so unexpected we almost ordered one to go. Lastly was the pizza, the dough is great and sadly we didn't get to try their red sauce but the pizza was excellent. They have a huge beer selection and we loved seeing their on tap selection. Definitely recommend getting a reservation since they never had empty tables but there wasn't a line out the door. There are two sides to the restaurant and the bar is big and well staffed. We waited about 15 minutes to get water or see any one at our table but that's because we came at 6:30 pm on a Saturday and they were absolutely busy. Once we saw our waitress and got our order in it was quick and smooth sailing. Highly recommend grabbing a seat at the high tops and enjoying your time.

Dear Greedy Management,…read more We have been going to the Post for years, and the Black cow before that. We love the ambiance, food and service even though it is a bit pricey. I'm not sure when it started, hadn't been there for a few months, but we got a 3% extra charge on our bill for the "Kitchen staff". If you need to charge extra it should be added to the items ordered, not hidden until the bill is received !! I was so put out by this that I didn't dare mention it to our nice waitress as it wasn't her fault. It's not the lousy few bucks but the principle of it ! Next time I call for reservations I will ask if this 3% charge is gone. We will not be going back unless this hidden charge is eliminated. Thanks for listening, Frequent Customer

"It's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality" - i picked it because of this quote on the menu, and i forgot how much i used to love p!atd. i thought to myself, "i've heard this before somewhere..." i loved the bread & roasted garlic butter, however on a little cutting board it was difficult not to make a mess. i guess that's part of what makes it "kitchen table." it is the perfect, round sourdough loaf with the most delicious butter. the roasted chicken was prepared flawlessly. juicy and tender inside, and a perfect crispy skin, just wow. i absolutely loved the selection of spring vegetables, along with the sherry sauce; sautéed spinach, carrots, mushrooms, and onions. the mashed potatoes were perfect once i added extra salt, extra pepper & whipped it up with more of that garlic butter to my liking, however it was prepared great. i requested it without bacon butter, how it typically comes prepared, and the garlic butter is a great substitute. everything was impeccable. i travel to boston often just for food, because i find that the food in beverly, as a whole, is just not up to par, even with all of the marketing. kitchen table is different than any other restaurant in beverly, and now i don't have to travel so far to get the most delicious meals! i am honestly blown away by how amazing my meal was, and i highly recommend kitchen table to anyone in the north shore, and i'd even say it's completely worth going out of your way for. whether solo, a romantic or friend date, or with a small or large group, kitchen table is here to serve (one of the best meals you've had in a long time). there were some other ladies at the bar that were extremely hospitable and helpful as well, i didn't catch their names this time. i wanted to take some pictures at the end of my meal, at closing time when it had emptied out, and molly encouraged me to take all the pictures i needed. just fantastic service by all of the staff. i couldn't be happier with my first experience at kitchen table. here's to many more! ambiance: 4.9/5 food: 5/5 drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5 kitchen table: 5/5

All Souls Lounge in Salem was the perfect sanctuary. It's a small, intimate spot that fills up fast, if you don't get there early, you'll be left haunting the sidewalk waiting for a table. Luckily, they offer outdoor seating, which was great for cooling off after spending two hours surrounded by ceremonial candles. The service was remarkably fast for a packed house. The cocktails were delicious and flavorful, though if you're looking to banish your inner demons in one sip, note that they aren't the absolute strongest in town. What really stole the show, however, was the food menu: they have a massive selection of gourmet grilled cheeses and hot dogs. Speaking of which: after finishing my meal, I went home inspired to attempt another quick ritual. I was trying to summon an ancient Hot Dog Spirit to bless my midnight snack cravings, but I mangled the Latin incantation and accidentally conjured a Grilled Cheese Ghost instead. Now my apartment smells like toasted sourdough, and there is a glowing ectoplasmic slice of melted cheddar hovering over my couch. Overall, a fantastic spot to refuel whether you're a local, a tourist, or just an exhausted practitioner of the dark arts. Highly recommend!
